The door to the throne room swung open and Avery walked inside.

"Your highness, please wait. Your Majesty," one of the soldiers greeted the king with a bow.

King Regin raised his hand to dismiss the soldier before he fivlxedbhos gaze to the angry little Princess standing at the center of the throne room.

"Avery." His voice came out soft with no hint of worry, anger or any emotions.

"Why did you leave your post at the training grounds?"

"Father, do you really think I would not notice you won't keep to your words?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"You promised you would train me, but all I have done for the past ten hours has just been breathing and the basics. And you left me there alone."

"What is wrong with the basics?"

"Father!"

King Regin waved his hand for the ministers with him to excuse them.

Quickly they bowed and exited the throne room, leaving Regin and his daughter alone.
