She knew she would not be able to last long with the pains and as soon as the twenty-first stroke landed on her skin, her eyes dropped close and her body fell to the cold floor.

However, before her body could make a mark with the ground, she felt a gush of wind blow against her and a hand, held her head and body, preventing her from hitting the ground.

She was too weak and her consciousness was sleeping away but she knew who it was without being told. She recognized those hands anywhere.

A sense of relief washed through her as the whipping stopped and that particular person held her body close, followed by the noisy murmurings that ensued, she fainted.

"Take her from him and send her back. Send for the doctors to check her in prison."

"Yes, your majesty."

"Blade, stand down."

Reluctantly, Blade handed her over to the soldiers and stepped away from the podium.
