CHAPTER 569

With smiles on their faces, everyone was about to go their way when Marceline stepped forward and lowered her head before Isadora. 

"I know it may not be in my place to ask this, but as a mother, I plead with you to allow me to see the body of my son."

Isadora raised her brows at her but refrained from spitting out any words.

"By right, he should be kept in Alacia and buried there."

"I shall never bury his body," Isadora spat out angrily.

All royals present had their eyes wide open from her declaration.

"Isadora dear," Draco began. "You cannot say that. You," he hesitated, "he deserves a burial. It has been twenty years now. And because I had no sign or news of you, I failed to do the needful."
