Summoning animals was relatively common, most people had summons or partners of some sort - birds, frogs, toads, dogs, wolves, snakes, bees, cats, tigers, and other creatures just to name a few were rather common.
But long ago, it was said that one who could summon a dragon was one who was truly great and one who could befriend said dragon and make it their partner as one might have a partnership with a Ninken or comrade - perhaps true friendship - was a very worthy, not to mention, a truly pure, untainted soul.
Of course, this was never proven, though many sought after the Dragon Clan, in hopes of being able to befriend, or rather, capture a dragon in order to make it their partner, or force the Head Dragon to let them sign the Dragon Clan Summoning Contract.
Needless to say, none of those brave - or more so, foolish - men and women came back from their journeys and it was unknown whether or not those who sought after the ancient beasts actually found what they were looking for. After a while, the Ninja World just forgot about the Dragons and went on with their lives, but there were still some who believed that one day, one with a pure heart would actually befriend the Dragon Clan and be granted the ability to sign the Dragon contract and take one of the ancient beasts of legend as their partner.
25 years ago, An Unknown Boy out of No-where was able to do it, He was the sole inheritor of a Unique Kekkai tota, Eruption Release, and was unknown in this world.
Yet, he was one of the strongest...

He was the last Dragons Summoner.

Renji Kept walking aimlessly on a single path, It was the only path in this entire Island, He Just kept walking and walking... and eventually came to a mountain...
On a narrow path with both sides deep mountain fall...
There was a Huge molten Lava Sea beyond the mountain...

Renji who didn't even once question where he was going... was shocked...
He was walking in the Volcano...

He gulped down and wondered whether he should return...
But where else to go... This entire realm only has one path that he traveled, the other option would be, to return to his world... But he doesn't really know how to do that either...
He kept walking straight...

Renji stumbled and hold the rock wall...
From inside the Lava, a Huge Red Dragon came...

Renji scared took some steps back...
But a Childish yet strong voice follow
"Ah, hello again, Sir,... I... urp... am new here, So, I didn't know how you looked, that's why I took so long to appear, I am happy to see you... Welcome to Dragonsgrasp"
"Y-You are a Dragon", Renji shakingly pointed at the Huge Red Dragon
"Ah, Are you shocked because I grew up so fast, I am told, I reached my growth period much faster than my peers, I would even keep on Growing since it's my growth period, Sir, You wouldn't be so shocked once you see my friends, It's Just I am weird"

Renji: 'What the hell is this thing talking about'
Unknown to Renji's thought, Red Dragon Kept on talking energetically...
"I was told by Grandma, that you are the first-ever being to ever hold me when I was born, I even heard that you saw me being born in this world"

"What are you saying Sir, I can clearly feel your Aura... Are you trying to shun me?", Red Dragon asked with big watery eyes.

"How old are you again?", asked Renji suddenly losing all the fear he was feeling against this big guy

"Then why are you laughing and tearing up like you are some kid"

Renji's mouth twitch, "How old are your parents"
The red dragon proudly said, "3000 Years Sir"

"T-Then the grandma you mention--
"She is 7000 Years Old"
Renji's mouth kept on opening and closing, "So, how old is the oldest person in your tribe is?"
"It's Grandpa Jack, He is the current Chief of our Village, and is 10,000 Years Old... Sadly, He is too old and is dying of old age", The Dragon said with sadness.
Renji felt like his whole world is crumbling down... 10, 000 Years, Dragons, what the heck is happening right now?
"But, Sir, Why are you asking these questions, Don't you already know them, I even heard that you are even good friends with Father"
'Good Friend My foot, I didn't even know your species existed before this'
"Wait, first of all, what is this place"
The Red Dragon felt suspicious, why is Sir Asking these questions, If it weren't for the Aura that this tiny Human exude, The Red Dragon would have thought this is an Imposter
Nonetheless, the Red dragon answered happily, "Dragonsgrasp"
"Dragonsgrasp?"
"Dragonsgrasp is the stronghold of Ryūhone Island"
"To keep it secure, only those who have the permission of one of us and bonded with their dragon may enter."
'... You mean to say the Bond created through a Misunderstanding'
Renji wanted to say something but the Red Dragon kept on talking
"You see, Dragonsgrasp is also a prison... In the very depths of the city, a special, enchanted cell holds one of the Order's greatest foes... as the prisoner was also one of the greatest Dragon"

The market place was teeming with colors, noise, smells, people, and stalls.
In Renji's opinion, it was absolutely fantastic. He loved markets, with all the knick-knacks for sale, buskers and performers, interesting characters walking around, and energized atmosphere. The space encompassed by the stalls was huge, much bigger than he could ever think, and scattered throughout were grassed areas with trees and performance stages. He knew he could get thoroughly lost in amongst all the activity very easily but the temptation to explore was too great.
But there is one problem...
All of them are Huge Dragons of various Colors with different personalities... Maybe different attributes as well...
"Let's Go and find Grandpa Chief Jack, Later, you can enjoy the Festival, and I will go and play with my friends", said the Red Dragon by his side
"Is there Something Today?", asked Renji
"It's Granpa Jack's Birthday"
