Confession

Elder Mo knocked at Mo Xiao's room after the calls, Mo Xiao was in his study when he heard the sound, everyone's room had a separate study in this house. He opened the door to find Elder Mo. It was quite late at night so it surprised him, Elder Mo entered the room and sat down. He explained everything and told Mo Xiao to check on her. Elder Mo could tell looking at Sia that she was indeed a strong girl but at last she was a girl who cared about her grandfather more than anything else, she was bound to be distressed by today's incident. It was quite a sudden and big blow to her. Elder Mo told him about his own investigations on their assumed culprit but they stopped at a certain dead end, he asked him to dig deeper in it. Elder Mo went back to his room after saying his piece.

Mo Xiao wanted to call her but he could tell what she might be feeling, so he thought calling her would not help much. So he hopped into his car and drove towards Elder Jing's place.

Sia was standing in the balcony staring at sky when Elder Liu approached her. He called her twice, standing at the door of her room but she didn't respond. So he had no choice but to go near her. No one in the house, except for her one trusted maid and Elder Jing had the right to enter her room. Sia turned when she turned footsteps coming in her direction.

"Young Mistress, everything you asked us to do is completed. You should stay here for today it's late." Elder Liu said. She shook her head in denial and moved out of the room. She headed downstairs inspecting the floor. She left the mansion after ensuring that there were no traces of the earlier incident left.

Mo Xiao saw a car exiting the mansion when he reached there. He knew it belonged to Sia, so he quietly followed her. She drove towards the outskirts of the city, towards a small hill. She stopped at the peak of it and exited the car. Mo Xiao stopped his car a little far from her, so that she doesn't notice his presence, but he underestimated his woman. She sensed someone trailing her as soon as she left the highway towards this hill. She also sensed that this person doesn't intend to kill her, because she gave him various opportunities but he kept his distance. She didn't know his motive so now she had no option but to face him. She opened the door of her car and walked towards his car with her hands at the back.

She stopped right in front of the stopped car. But as it was night time, she could not see his face because only source there was moon's light. She pointed her gun Beretta 92FS straight at his head, she pulled the locks before saying, "I don't care who you are or what you want. Come out. I won't shoot if you don't have ill intentions. I said come out." she sounded calm at first but shouted the last sentence.

Mo Xiao nearly took her as a fool to confront someone like that, but that lasted until she pointed a gun straight at his head, now he found her cool. He smiled at her actions. He opened the door and came out with his hands slightly raised. Moonlight fell on that handsome, perfectly sculpted face, he radiated like a god.

She was shocked to see him here. She carefully put her gun away before approaching him.

"You're here for?" she asked before stopping two steps earlier. Her tone was cold; it was like she was someone different.

He slowly moved forward, but at his every step she would take a step back. He was confused at her reaction. She was subconsciously resisting him from coming closer. He felt a hand crushing his heart, it hurt him looking at her eyes. Her eyes looked cold, aloof devoid of any warmth she held whenever she saw him.

It was until he spoke, "Sia, are you okay? I saw you….."

She ran towards him and embraced him before he could complete his words. He could feel her tight grip around his waist, like now she recognized him. He consoled her by caressing her head and back. He didn't stop till he felt her grip on him loosening. She loosened her grip on him and tilted her head back to look at his face.

They stayed like that for good few minutes before separating, she was still sobbing so he wiped his tears with his thumb. She held his hands that were cupping her cheeks, she was scarlet from all that crying, so she backed away a bit, Mo Xiao's lips curved up looking at the adorable creature. He was extremely patient when dealing with her, he removed a handkerchief from his pocket and handed her. She delightedly took it and wiped her cheeks. She was so harsh that the skin turned more red.

"Why did you come here? Wait, why didn't you stop me instead? I saw you following me through the city, but I saw this car for the first time and your tinted glass made it impossible to recognize you. You could have called me." She said sobbing slightly.

He was relieved looking at those eyes, she was back. He smiled at her before pulling her into his arms. She was still sobbing and stammering between her words, it pained him to see her like that.

She backed away from his arms lightly before saying, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to look so vulnerable right now. It's just that some bad things happened." She didn't want to let him know about it so early. Those attacks were deadly; she was also attacked few times before but she kept it from her family specially her grandfather and handled them on her own. Now that her life was being tied with someone naturally his life would also be in danger, that was the major reason she wasn't ready to be so close to someone; if one day she was to leave every everything behind and go, heartbreak was the last problem she wanted to think about.

"I know about the attack, Grandfather informed me." He said caressing her head. She was surprised to hear that, if he informed this guy it meant he was ready to reveal everything.

But what was in her mind? Does she love him? Would he mind her past? Was he ready to put his life on stake for her? Would his family agree? Those questions bombarded in her head. She turned her back towards him thinking about it. She became stiff as soon as she felt him hugging her from behind.

Mo Xiao hugged her from behind and said smilingly, "Sia, who does not have problems? I'm not asking for much. I don't want you to reveal everything until you are sure. But can't you trust me once? Can't you tell that I like you?" Her heart hammered against her chest hearing his sudden confession. He still continued, "I want us to face everything together. I'm not saying I'm invincible, but I'll do everything I can do to protect you. Sia I…." before he could say something else….. What happened??Wait for the next chapter…. Hehe.

A past information: Sia doesn't know everything, but she knows somebody want her dead. She handled few attacks on her own. There are many people who want her for them, few who want her dead but she wasn't aware of all.
