I was desperately waiting for her answer. But she was just staring at me like I was speaking an alien language.
"Okay." She said finally. "But let me change first." she said but I insisted on coming like that. And, after so many 'please', she agreed.
I brought her to the garden and stopped near the river.
"What happened? What do you want to show here?" she asked and I was happy that Isabella was eagerly waiting. I wanted to increase her curiosity.
"Wait. We're not there yet." I said and looked at the sky.
Two pegasi were flying towards us. They took a round and landed just in front of Isabella and me.
"Hey boss." Luo, the black pegasus said. The other pegasus had a beautiful white stallion body and strong wings. He didn't have a name. So, I named him Cooper.
I chose him for Isabella because he was the first pegasus she had rode. So, I thought she would be more comfortable with him than any other pegasus.
I gestured at Isabella to say, 'you first'. She mounted on the white pegasus and I on the black one.
"Luo, Cooper, let's go." I said and we plunged into the limitless sky.
I had already told the pegasi an our destination. So, I was enjoying the gentle wind. 'Dad, I am in your territory.' I said within me, just in a hope that dad would listen, but how could he.
"You can talk to these pegasi?" Isabella asked and I smiled at her.
"Yeah. I found it out just yesterday."
"How?"
"These are the creatures of the sky. So, being the son of Zeus and all that, I can understand them." I said and Isabella nodded, satisfied with the answer.
After being quiet for some time, she spoke again. "Adrian, tell me where we are going? I'm getting impatient now." she said.
"Impatient? That's good. Be a little more impatient, but I am not going to tell you yet." I said teasingly but all I got was a cute pout. Oh my God! I will die from this overload of adorableness. Stop it Isabella, you are torturing me to death.
Few minutes went by, now I can sense ourselves approaching to our destination.
An island became visible, beautiful and irregular- shaped island with no sign of any human being.
Our ride descended as they saw the island. Luo and Cooper dropped us at the shore and went away flying, leaving Isabella and me alone on the beautiful beach.
The weather was pleasant, the winds seem to blow more softly than ever. Sea water reached our feet when it washed by the shore. Every was just as I had imagined. This was the view I wanted Isabella to see : The extremely alluring sunset, cool beach and calm wind.
"Beautiful!" Isabella gasped as she saw the picturesque moment unfolding in front of her.
Her face glowed like gold as the light of sunset fell on her already beautiful skin.
"I know it's beautiful, but stop gazing at the sun and come with me. If I had to show you sunset, why I would bring you here? Huh?" I said and she seemed displeased with the fact that she will have to avert her eyes from the sun. But she followed me like an innocent little duckling.
I led her to the place where a surprise was awaiting her.
I had put a magic spell on a tree. This was the magic that I had asked Hecate to teach me and I was waiting when Isabella would get past that tree. Because that's when, my surprise would actually begin!
The tree became visible and the eagerness was already killing me. I couldn't wait to see her reaction.
I stopped just a few meters away from the tree.
"You go first." I told Isabella. She looked at me like she was deciding whether I had gone crazy or what, but decided to give in to my request.
She walked and as soon as she passed that tree...my God! How may I describe it, dear readers.
Her whole body uplifted in the air. She looked at me with disbelief and confusion.
"Woah....Adrian, what's ha...happening!?" she asked me. But I just smiled at her.
Beautiful green mist enveloped her body and it began to glow. Slowly the mist began to subside and put Isabella back on the ground.
When the mist fully disappeared and the girl in front of me became visible, I held my breath in awe.
What greeted my eyes is difficult to put into words, but I will try my best.
Isabella was now wearing long sleeveless white dress. The dress had a patchwork of lace, giving a fine look to the already elegant dress. The piece of clothing was glittering because of magic and looked like glimmering stars in the lonely night sky.
But the real sight to behold was the goddess wearing that dress. Isabella looked just so ravishingly beautiful that if I try to confine her beauty using words then it will be like an insult.
Her skin looked completely pure, there wasn't an ounce of impurity in it. Her face was glowing, even the moon goddess Artemis, would feel jealous of her beauty. Her face was shining with confidence and gentleness at the same time.
Her long auburn coloured hair were flowing down her shoulder like an entrancing waterfall.
Her face was enough to make me realize what happiness looks like.
"Isabella, happy birthday." I said with all the respect and care that I feel for her.
