Watching the taxi carrying Kirsten and her mother drive away, Adrian involuntarily touched the spot on his cheek where he had just been kissed. It felt as if the soft lips of the little girl were still there, as if he could still smell the fragrance of her cheek.


"Damn little fairy," Adrian cursed silently, but that strange feeling lingered in his heart. It was indeed audacious of her to make such a move out on the street, in full view of everyone.


It wasn't until the taxi disappeared around the corner that Adrian turned to head back to his car, only to see Charlize standing nearby, propping her chin with one hand and pursing her lips, watching him with an indescribable look in her eyes.


"Let's go, there's more to do," Adrian shrugged nonchalantly. Charlize said nothing, pursed her lips, and then followed him into the car.
