The dim yellow sun, already reaching the sea level, was descending at a pace barely perceptible to the naked eye. Its orange glow enveloped the various-sized villas along the coastline, giving a sense of imminent vanishing. The distant sea sparkled, reflecting bits of the sunset's light, syncing oddly well with the frequency of the bushes undulating on the hillside with the breeze—creating an exceptionally harmonious feeling.
"When I encountered anything upsetting and didn't want to talk about it with my family, I used to drive here. Sometimes I came with my best buddy Crow, but more often than not, I was alone. Looking at these beautiful scenes, those unpleasant things would slip my mind unconsciously," Adrian said softly, holding a bottle of soda, leaning against the windshield and sitting on the hood of the car while looking at the scenery at the foot of the hill.
The silver Maserati was parked on a hillside facing the sea outside the road, offering a magnificent view.
