Because Brahms's body infrequently walks for long periods of time, it feels so awfully sore that I feel pain from sitting. We walked back home of course, then greeted by my lovely parents as I got home. Esma and a few other maids helped me take a bath— that I'm still not used to it. After taking a bath, mom, dad, Mercie and I had dinner as usual. The only unusual thing is that Mercie almost never talks during dinner.
She just kept staring at my food.
Which is suspicious. The thing is, I feel suspicious after I finished my meal.
And oh boy how much I regretted it.
"Ugh,"
A couple of hours after dinner, I feel my stomach aching in pain. I ran back and forth to the bathroom, vomited, and got a fever afterwards.
I bet this is my beloved sister's doing. But I don't have evidence that this is her doing!
"My poor son," mom gently stroked my warm cheek with her hand, while her other hand gently grabbed my hand. "I thought you're getting much better,"
"Maybe because we let him out for too long even though he just recovered dear. No, this is my fault," dad who is sitting on the other side, sighed as if he's disappointed in himself.
"No no, it's my fault. Please don't blame yourself, father," I tried to comfort my dad.
Dad smiled sadly at me. "No son, it's my fault. You will not be leaving this room until you're fully recovering,"
I blinked.
"And, how long will that take?"
Dad looked at mom, and she looked at him back. Are they communicating telepathically? I'm not sure, but they seemed to be agreeing on something. Dad then looked back at me pessimistically.
"Possibly for more than a week,"
I wide my eyes in surprise. I looked at mom in disbelief.
"Then, that means—"
Mom nodded.
"You will not be attending the party,"

"You rarely daydream this often, Lucean,"
Ridley said as he helped Lucean get back up from the ground. Five days had passed since his encounter with the beautiful young male back at the weapon shop. And ever since that day, the Prince of Astille Kingdom cannot focus on his training.
Lucean smirked at his best friend.
"Don't blame me, blame 𝘩𝘪𝘮," he grabbed his sword from the ground and swings it around happily. Ridley sighed and shake his head.
Then he crossed both of his arms while looking at Lucean with a complacent expression.
"I thought you didn't believe 'love at first sight'" Ridley quoted.
"Don't remember," Lucean said casually, shrugged while still putting his playful smile.
Ridley gave him a sarcastic look. It's like looking at a different person. Where is his best friend that usually has a calm demeanour? Now he looked like a little boy who's in love for the first time.
"You don't even know his name," Ridley reasoned.
"I'll know later at the party,"
"He looks sickly,"
"He looks brighter than full moon at the darkest sky," Lucean defended, then swing his sword at Ridley's way. Ridley dodged the attack, then take another swing. Lucean quickly read his movements and parried it with his blade. Ridley smirked.
"What if he already set his eyes on someone else?"
Ridley's words made Lucean lose focus. Ridley took this opportunity to launch another hard attack, causing Lucean to dropped his sword. Lucean crossed his hands while pondered to Ridley's assumption.
Lucean then looked at Ridley, flashing him a playful smirk.
"Hm, then I'll make sure he sets his eyes on me,"
