My Light In The Dark

Yue knock the door, but Weiwan didn't open the door. He heard nothing inside when he try to listen then he try to knock the door much more force and  he wait for Weiwan to open the door but still Weiwan didn't open it.


Because Weiwan didn't open the door, Yue decide to go back downstairs and go to the living room again. He decide to wait Weiwan unti she goes downstairs. He waited for hours. Not until it was already late at noon did Weiwan wake up from her sleep. She look outside the window and find that the sky is already getting dark.


She got up from the bed and unlocked the door, when she goes downstairs she saw that Yue is watching television. She just ignore him and go straight to the kitchen, she open up the icebox and try to see what she can cook for tonight dinner. Even though she doesn't feel like cooking anything because Yue is here but as a wife she still think that she have that duty took cook for him.


That's just how much she still gave him sum of her respect, when she prepare all the ingredients Yue was standing at the entrance of the kitchen. When he heard there was a noise from the kitchen, he knew Weiwan is starting to get their dinner ready. Weiwan saw Yue standing and watching her but she doesn't care, she just do her thing.


Yue wants to talk, but he decide to be silent for awhile and just let Weiwan getting ready to cook for their dinner. He observe her, he doesn't know why things turn this way although he was having affair but she doesn't know about it because he hide it well. 


Does she feels tired in getting my attention, Yue thought. The Weiwan behave right after she arrived home is unfamiliar to him. Half an hour later, Weiwan finish cooked a simple dishes. She doesn't need to call him to have dinner. She just prepare a portion of rice for him, she doesn't care if he decide to eat with her or not.


Without waiting for him, she seat at the chair and started to eat. Yue see this and it's clearly that Weiwan really ignored him, he suddenly felt sad. He misses her, touching her, watching her smile and the she always treated him, but right now she doesn't do all those thing. 


Not once did she glance at him, her face is expressionless. She just eat her dinner quietly, she didn't call him when she already prepare the food at the dining table. Yue knows, the way she did right now is the same thing that she did when ever he return home. She would always call him to have dinner together but since he started to date Ling, he didn't want to have dinner with her and goes out to have dinner with his lover in a fancy restaurant.


Leaving her to have dinner on her own at their house, now his here. She just prepared is portion but she didn't call him to have dinner together. He knew that this means she doesn't care if he wants to have dinner with her or not. Yue walk towards the dining table and seat in front of Weiwan, he looks at her before he pick up the spoon and start to dig in the dishes that Weiwan had prepare.
