Chapter 2

Before going to school Hyorin and Yoo In Na go to hospital first to visit Dongwook, when they arrived Dongwook is still unconscious.

"Eomma! Why Daddy is still sleeping? When will he wake up?" Asked Hyorin

"I will check Dongwook's condition now" said the doctor who came to do the check up

"I think Dongwook still unconscious" said Yoo In Na

Suddenly Dongwook's condition became critical, making him hard to breath.

"Get the oxygen! Put it on now!" Said the doctor to the nurse

"Eomma! What happen with daddy?" Asked Hyorin who is crying looking at Dongwook

"Daddy is ok, he's going to be alright" said Yoo In Na hugging Hyorin

"I don't want daddy to die" said Hyorin

"Daddy is not going to die, he's a strong man isn't he? So don't worry" said Yoo In Na

"Dongwook's condition is stable now, but now he's in a coma stage" said the doctor

"Wha-what?!" Asked Yoo In Na

"Hopefully Dongwook can recover as soon as possible" said the Doctor leaving Yoo In Na in confusion

"Eomma! What does coma mean?" Asked Hyorin

"Huh? That's mean daddy will sleep for a really long time" said Yoo In Na

"But but, i miss daddy. I want to play with daddy, i don't want daddy to sleep" said Hyorin

"Let's go to school now, eomma will pick you up later" said Yoo In Na

"Daddy I'll go to school first, promise me to wake up when I'm finish with school so we can play again" said Hyorin giving Dongwook a kiss

After taking Hyorin to school, Yoo In Na go to work. She can't focus doing her work, she keep thingking about Dongwook and keep checking on her phone in case the nurse call her.

"I heard about Dongwook's car crash, how's his condition now?" Asked Manager Kim

"He's in a coma stage now after the surgery yesterday" said Yoo In Na

"Hope he can get better soon, he's a really good co worker" said Manager kim

Yoo In Na visited Dongwook again at lunch time while bringing some fresh flower to put in the room.

"How's his condition? Any progress?" Asked Yoo In Na to the nurse that is been taking care of Dongwook

"His condition is still the same from this morning, no significant progress yet" said the nurse

Yoo In Na put the fresh flower next to Dongwook's bed, when she about to step out from the room she could hear the electrocardiography machine is beeping and is a long beep.

"Dongwook-sshi!" Call Yoo In Na while pressing the emergency button

The doctor and a bunch of nurse burst in.

"Please wait outside, we will do our best to save him" said the nurse

"Dongwook-sshi! Don't leave me! I love you!" Said Yoo In Na who's falls to the ground with tears running down her face

"How's Dongwook?" Asked Yoo In Na to the doctor

"Don't worry, his heartbeat is beating again" said the doctor

"Thank goodness he's alright! Can i see him?" Asked Yoo In Na

"Let Dongwook-sshi rest first, he need a lot of rest at the moment" said the doctor

"Ok, I'll come back later then" said Yoo In Na

Yoo In Na going back to work and finish all her work before picking up Hyorin from school.

@school

"Eomma!" Hyorin yell when she saw Yoo In Na waiting for her

"Let's go" said Yoo In Na

"Is daddy awake yet? I want to show daddy my trophy" said Hyorin while holding the trophy that she won from dancing competition

"Let's go, the taxi is here" said Yoo In Na who can't answer Hyorin question

@hospital

"Daddy! Oh, daddy is still sleeping" said Hyorin with sad face

Yoo In Na can't hold her tears when she saw how sad Hyorin is.

"Eomma, I'm hungry" said Hyorin

"Huh? Ok let's go eat then" said Yoo In Na

"Eomma! Can I ask you something?" Asked Hyorin

"What is it?" Asked Yoo In Na

"Nuna! I want you to be my mom" said Hyorin

"I am already your mom right, you can call me eomma" said Yoo In Na

"What I meant is gyeorhon with Daddy, daddy always told me about Nuna" said Hyorin

"Hyorin-ah! Getting married is not as easy as you think" said Yoo In Na

"But why? I want Nuna to be my mom, can't you be my mom?" Asked Hyorin

"That's not what I meant" said Yoo In Na

"Nobody love me!, Daddy doesn't want to wake up and Nuna doesn't want to be my mom!" Said Hyorin who run out from the room looking angry and sad

"Hyorin-ah!!" Yoo In Na yell but Hyorin run too fast

Yoo In Na search every part of the hospital but Hyorin is not there.

"Hyorin-ah! Where are you?" Yoo In Na murmured

"Dongwook-sshi! I'll go look for Hyorin first, you don't have to worry. I'll bring her back" said Yoo In Na before going out to look for Hyorin

Yoo In Na go to the park that are not far from the hospital, hoping that Hyorin go there.

"Hyorin-ah!" Yoo In Na call when she saw Hyorin sitting alone at the park

"I don't want to talk to Nuna" said Hyorin who still mad at Yoo In Na

"Mianhae Hyorin-ah!" Said Yoo In Na

"If I forgive Nuna, will you be my mom?" Asked Hyorin

"I can't promise you, I have to talk to your dad first" said Yoo In Na

"Daddy will definitely say yes, you don't have to talk to him" said Hyorin

"You sounds so confident" said Yoo In Na

"Geureomyo! Daddy talk about Nuna a lot" said Hyorin

"I see" said Yoo In Na

"Nuna! I want to tell you something, but don't tell Daddy ok?" Said Hyorin

"What is it?" Asked Yoo In Na

"Daddy sometimes call your name in his sleep" whisper Hyorin into Yoo In Na's ear

"I have a secret to tell you too, but don't tell your dad ok?" Asked Yoo In Na

"Yagsoghabnida Nuna, i won't tell daddy" said Hyorin

"I like your dad" said Yoo In Na

"Then be my mom" said Hyorin

"Let's go and eat, you must be starving by now" said Yoo In Na

"Actually i brought some onigiri from Halmoeni, she was seeling onigiri on the street" said Hyorin giving the onirigi to Yoo In Na

"Gomawo" said Yoo In Na

"Yeoboseyo!" Said Yoo In Na who's answering a phone call

"I just want to inform you that Dongwook-sshi has wake up from his coma" said the nurse

"Jeongmal?! I'll go there now" said Yoo In Na with a smile

"Museuniriya nuna?" Asked Hyorin

"Daddy's awake already! Let's  go Hyorin-ah" said Yoo In Na

"Yay! I want to show daddy my trophy" said Hyorin

@Dongwook's  room

"Dongwook's is still weak so don't talk too much with him yet" said the nurse before leaving

"Daddy!" Said Hyorin giving Dongwook a hug

"Hy-hyorin-ah!" Said Dongwook

"Hyorin-ah! We have to go soon, daddy need to rest." Said Yoo In Na

"Oh! Can't we stay here Nuna? Tomorrow is weekend" asked Hyorin

"Hyorin-ah! Go home with Nuna first and then comeback tomorrow" said Dongwook

"Daddy! Nuna said she wants to be my mom" said Hyorin that makes Yoo In Na choke while eating the onigiri

"Mwo?!" Said Yoo In Na who's still choking

"Hyorin-ah! Don't say like that" said Dongwook

"But Nuna told me that she likes daddy" said Hyorin

"This kids can't even keep a secret!" Yoo In Na murmured

"Hyorin-ah! Let's go home befor you make me even more embarrassed, annyeonghi gyeseyo Dongwook-sshi!" Said Yoo In Na pushing Hyorin out of the room
