Chapter 268: Will Projection of the Five-Star God

Medea leaned on the hotel sofa, the TV series' cast list was already playing at the end of the episode. This time, she binge-watched three episodes in one go, each roughly forty minutes long, totaling over two hours. Only then did she look down at her wristwatch, factoring in the time she spent on the way, it had been almost two and a half hours since she and Elizabeth had parted ways. Silently, she calculated the time in her head.

By all accounts, Elizabeth should have been back by now. Even if inviting that Pharmacist for a meal took a bit longer—at most an hour or so—and then leisurely chatting for a while, two hours should have been more than sufficient. By now, she should have returned to the hotel. If there had been a delay on the road, or if Elizabeth had decided to go somewhere else spontaneously, she would usually notify Medea and reassure her, but there had been no word from her.
