Chapter 17

The sun had just set, welcoming the night sky as it covered the world slowly.

Taking a peek out of the clear crystal window from my massive bed, I felt fulfilled as if I have achieved my life long dream. *Groan* the sound of snoring and calm breathing filled the room as my two sisters laid cuddled closely to one another, a light smile showed upon their face.

I got up slowly from my bed, careful not to wake them I walked to the crystal door sliding it open as it slides smoothly open with no friction and sound. Even though my body did not need sleep I enjoyed sleeping as a whole which led me to sleeping every night.

Stepping outside I shut the door behind me.

Gazing up at the star-filled sky I smiled as my white hand seemed to glow white in the moonlight, gliding it across my white hair before softly rubbing the top of my head making a sign in relaxation.

closing my eyes I sat cross-legged on the white deck as I began to cultivate.

I watched my daughter as she cultivated thinking back on the book I received thinking that there was no doubt that she was a devouring dragon but it felt odd, as she had quite the craving blood the last I knew of the devouring dragons didn't have such a massive craving for just blood.

I must protect her, I promised. I looked at her peaceful face as she grew stronger before my very eyes.

No I must protect my daughter.

The night passed quickly as the sun began to illuminate the night filling it with light.

Opening my eyes energy surged forth as a new power erupted in me expanding my senses and strength.

Feeling a new strength I slowly stood up realizing that I cultivated through the whole night.

*Hup* *Hup* *hup* the sound of women exercising in the morning rang out below, Walking to the edge I looked down to see my soldiers jogging and sparring in hand to hand combat.

I smiled upon seeing the hard work and dedication before turning around and heading back to the crystal door sliding the door slowly open as a sound loudly leaked out.

*Snorrrurgggtt* the sound of a pig as if lazy laying in a pool of mud snorted, causing me to frown ever so slightly while walking in, I stared at the offender as she laid by herself sprawled half her face was covered by a massive pillow, she scratched her left butt cheek before doing the unspeakable.

*Thhhuuurppttptptptptpp* hearing such a sound my face darkened as a smell so vile assaulted my nostril as quickly as the sound stopped echoing.

*poouttt*

a new sound erupted force quickly causing me to flee the room knowing that I could not get revenge now.

' I will remember this phara ' I thought as I escaped downstairs with great speed vowing my revenge one day.

tears covered my eyes due to the smell that kissed my nose one last time before making it out the door.

soon lunchtime was upon us *dong* *dong*, a bell rang out symbolizing it was time to eat.

sitting in my chair I continued to read the earning report for my company nodding I was satisfied with the companies progress.

Putting the papers down I began to think about how I should begin to expand, *knock* knock* "lady nova I must speak to you " the concerned voice of Mario could be heard.

" You may enter " I said as Mario entered the room in a rush, closing the calmly for someone in a rush he turned to me.

His face was pale as if he had just been cucked by the emperor he rushed me, I tensed my body expecting an attack.

With his face down low I could not see his face but as he got within chair length he dove grabbing on to my leg with all his strength " MY LADY... NO MY GODDESS MY LORD AND SAVIOR, HEAVEN SENT MISTRESS " wailing out with great pain he looked up.

With his kid like appearance he widens his eyes as tears flooded down his slightly plump cheeks " I-I am in t-trouble you must s-save me from the emperor he comes for m-me " crying he rubbed his cheeks crossed my legs.

"GET OFF ME " I shouted wildly shaking I to shake his grip off my leg.

holding with all his power I grew frustrated, huffing with puffed up cheeks I grabbed both his hands. ripping him off me throwing him to the side "standing up I looked down at him as he began to prostate himself before me " Speak " I said with attitude as I crossed my arms in anger.

" The emperor has announced that I have betrayed the empire, he now is demanding for my head while mobilizing the empire's army " Mario explained calmly, he lifted his head looking up at me like a lost puppy " please you must help me " clasping his hands together he pleaded.

I frowned upon hearing the news, thinking about a certain boy's fate.
