There’s a Problem, A Big Problem

At that moment, Little Grey Wolf broke down.

He was also an Awakener. An awesome Elemental Awakener, a person who could control fire. Even the pirates knew that. In the future, he might also be an ACE. Yet, in the end, he knelt down because of a game. He even did it quickly. Most importantly, it happened after trying to go back on his words! How embarrassing was that?

It even caused his knees to start hurting.

The Little Grey Wolf stood up without a word and returned to his seat. Without a pause, he started explaining himself,

In the live broadcast room, there was a user named Le He, and what a great experience it was! An Elemental Awakener with the fire ability was extremely rare, there were only a few of those in the country. But now that there was an Awakener who could make others kneel…how amazing was that?

Little Grey Wolf was particularly boastful. In the end, however, he had knelt down inexplicably in front of thousands of people. There was no way he would not admit to it! But what should he do? The incident had happened, and there was no way to continue denying it.

Little Grey Wolf swiftly decided to go with the flow:

After explaining himself, he stood up to go to the bathroom. As he stepped forward, his mind was filled with so many thoughts about the kneeling incident that he did not notice a puddle of water on the floor.

Thump!

The Little Grey Wolf once again fell and knelt down right in front of all the viewers.

Everyone was silent, including Hong Xiaofu and Little Grey Wolf himself.

The audience went crazy—the comment section was flooded with messages!

<66666666666666 host, did you just kneel another time because you weren't sincere the first time?>

As the onlookers watched the scene unfolding, some of them started commenting and making remarks on the side. Little Grey Wolf blushed with embarrassment and discomfort, quickly escaping the room.

After watching Little Grey Wolf's tragedy, Hong Xiaofu's heart started racing.

Was his Awakening talent really to make others kneel?! If what happened then was true, it seemed that, as long as the other party was nowhere near kneeling, his power wouldn't be activated.

What the hell? It really was a bad day.

Was he going to be an emperor? When out in public, would people start falling to their knees and making wishes? When that happened, would he start fulfilling people's wishes on the street like Guanying Buddha?

As he thought of those possibilities, Hong Xiaofu instantly felt like… that unique ability was a little too high profile. Was it necessarily a good thing?

Hong Xiaofu cleared his throat. He ignored the private messages he had received from the crowd and started working on clearing the stages of the game. It was relatively easy to do. A few epic weapons appeared—some for Hong Xiaofu himself, and others for game users of other occupational groups. Although the numbers of weapons were better than before, there were no other significant differences.

After wrapping up his game training, Hong Xiaofu logged off and changed his clothes before going to the yard in his rental housing.

He had Awakened, and he was unsure of how he can further strengthen his ability. Based on the information he had gathered online, it seemed that he had to rely mainly on physical training.

The moment he thought of that, Hong Xiaofu started running in the yard.

Su Ying had a rather privileged family background. She lived in one of those large apartments in the affluent area of the Shencheng city center. Her flat was one hundred and eighty-six square meters, and the housing prices in that area of the city exceeded 500,000 yuan.

Su Ying sat on the sofa as she performed her ability for her parents.

Her mother, Ling Ying, was charming, perfectly fitting the standard Lingzhi family style. She would be forty-three years old that year, but it seemed like time had left no marks on her face. If she walked the streets with Su Ying, it wouldn't be surprising that people believed them to be sisters. They were the standard, beautiful mother–daughter duo.

Su Ying's father, Su Kuang, was a businessman. He was dressed in a grey waistcoat, his hair and beard were well maintained, and there were wrinkles at the corners of his eyes. They were not really flaws in the face of a forty-five year-old man—instead, they enhanced his maturity and charisma.

"As I said, my daughter is definitely not an ordinary person," Su Kuang said as he watched Su Ying perform. "Now that our Ying Ying has Awakened, her future will sail smoothly, and I don't have to worry anymore."

"Look at what you did, don't you even know whose daughter this is?" Ling Ying glanced at Su Kuang charmingly and said, "My daughter would not be bad, would she? If nothing goes wrong, our Ying Ying will be able to graduate with a Tsinghua University certificate. The entire nation only has a few Awakeners with the ice ability, right?"

"There are only a few," Su Kuang nodded in agreement. He lit a cigarette and replied, "Currently, there are approximately only ten Awakeners with the ice ability across the country. It is definitely top-notch!"

He looked at Su Ying and said with a smile, "Ying Ying, you have done well! Tell me, what reward do you want? As long as dad can do it, I will fulfil your wishes! Otherwise, we can wait 'til September, when you enrol into the university, Dad will buy you a car!"

"About that, shall we discuss it another time?," Su Ying firmly shook her head and said: "If not, how about you find a time to treat mom and I to a meal? Then, I can bring my deskmate, Hong Xiaofu, along."

"Hmm? Your deskmate?" Su Kuang and Ling Ying glanced at each other curiously before Su Kuang carefully asked, "Why do you want to bring your deskmate along?"

Su Kuang's intuition told him that there was an issue. His beloved, precious daughter...he sincerely hoped that she had not started dating a young brat the moment she had Awakened!

Judging from the situation, it seemed to be quite serious. That was a problem.

A huge problem.
