Coach: Kojima Do you have any experience of other positions except pitcher?


Kojima: No Sir, since beginning I have played only pitcher, but I did trained slightly for outfielder and was only to catch fly balls.


Coach: OK, I am planning to use you in left fielder, as you are too good for bench. So, from now on you will practice your fielding and your throw to the home plate and also join in batting practice. any objections?


"Hey isn't that Furuya, the one everyone is talking about?"

Kojima took the ball from his glove and threw with all his strength. The ball straight goes to the catcher like laser.


Fielding coach: Kojima you took too long in transition from catching the ball to throwing the ball. But good throw. Just improve your transition and you are ready to be a left fielder.


Then Kojima trained for around 1 more hour in training field, he practiced his transition , relay through shortstop, diving to catch the ball. His white uniform turned into brown full of dirt.


Then he trained in batting cage, with wooden bat. Every ball he hit either disappear in trees or goes straight to the fence.


After training he headed to dormitory after bathing and eating, he went to practice his swings with kominato and Maezono in the empty space. Both Kominato and Maezono bought heavy Bats and the result of their practice swings can be seen in their swings. even kominato can now easily hit home runs.  After Practicing his swings he went to Indoor practice room, there he practiced shadow pitching with towel and do some muscle training. then he went straight to his room.


His roommates are 2nd year Hana senpai and 3rd year Mitsuo senpai. They are ordinary but hardworking players and also good persons.


Kojima: Sure, by the way senpai do you Know anything about team's two spots?


Mitsuo: that would be due to Tokyo tournament, the Tokyo tournament has an entrance list of 20 members Two members of the Second string will advance to first string.


Hana: Originally, only one spot should be open as you and Furuya are in 1st string. But one of 1st string recently got injured, So now two spots are open.


Kojima: Do you have any idea who can get these spots?


Hana: Don't know it can be anyone based on requirements it can be pitcher, out fielder or anyone.
