Heaven does it even matter? Truth!

Ryuk had no idea about the nefarious actions of the heaven he simply cultivated, but the death aura seemed to reach a limit. Ryuk understood that the laws are perverse things that no mortal can interact with freely and that the way to increase his abilities in the law of death was to increase his cultivation base. To encounter a law a price must be paid, to interact with one a enormous amount of understanding or help is needed, to control it one needs to be able to break the law and to break a law one must be a god or higher, but Ryuk didnt understand one thing was what exactly was a law and whether he could have every law within himself. Ryuk having found himself unable to advance in cultivation wished to increase his understanding of many different things.

'The laws are everything. There is the law of death, but what exactly is the law to my cultivation? From what I read a law is like a rule set by the universe creator and by understanding the law we get a step closer to the creator, but can we have multiple laws within ourselves? None of the books talk about that. Each of the heros talked about had one law. Is it because our system is too unsophisticated or is that a rule in of itself and if so if we understand that rule can we carry multiple laws. So wait. Where does the tao come in. There is sword tao, but ive never heard of sword law, but wait there are many heros who have many Taos. Wait I think i understand. The laws are what define us they are not the creators rules on the universe or us, but our presence among the myriad forms of qi for example if you are a fish you survive in water and so it is better if it only gets water qi or something like that, but the tao is just an understanding. Anyone can understand anything, but we can only have one thing that defines us. It would be like the tao being our surname, but our first name being a law. One is a shared thing the other is a unique concept. I see so the laws we understand and decipher are within us and we just understand ourselves. We are the universes children, within us are the laws of the universe. Although the creator of the universe created the universe he didnt sire all life. Life was born from the universe and from that the myriad of laws exist within us.' Ryuk seemed to have advanced in something intangible. ' So is the heaven even important?' Ryuk questioned and his soul pool seemed to dance around wildly, excitedly. Although Ryuks understanding wasnt anything supported with evidence being completely speculative there was a truth even if his theories were false that understanding became his truth. 'Right and wrong can be changed through experiences, but in the end why bother with others opinions on matters. Truth is after all something belonging to you only and no one else.' Ryuk would often remark through his early years, but now it seemed to fit extremely well. Ryuks truth was something unique that others had never imagined. All beings who were at Ryuks stage revered the creator and belived that if one could create a universe everything was possible - furthermore they also loved thinking they were the creators children. All beings who reached the point where they could conjecture about their own truth were very narcissistic thinking cultivation could make someone an absolute being who could do anything they wanted. So Ryuks truth became an unique thing never thought of by anyone else.

....

In green doe village on the same day Ryuk made these remarkable observations a large vibrant atmosphere filled the valley. On the valley sides caves were made for nobility to stay and from those caves many exquisite smells came. The smell of exotic wine, sumptuous foods and priceless perfumes. Furthermore with the vibrant lights which colored the the valley came the sound of chuckles, kisses, and other dastardly acts echoing out. Compared to the sides the main part of green doe village at the bottom was silent, dark and unappealing, but if one could distract themselves from the brilliant lights and joyous harmony they could see evil acts filling the small village. Blood seemed to have painted the entire village, but to an unassuming one the lights would be green doe village, but in truth green doe village was now a scum filled village with no good.

The music and chatter echoed even to the edge of the village where Ryuk stayed. A man clearly extremely intoxicated wobbled his way up a steep road and peered at the Xin dog house his chapped lips curled into an ugly smile. He then fetched a flask from his chest and gulped down a large mouthful of ale. He then walked towards the dog house.
