Body tempering 2.

Ryuk had finished two components of human body tempering stage. He prepared himself for marrow washing. Ryuk commanded the myriad forms of qi in his body to enter his marrow inside his bones. Then they formed an intricate gauze and soon swept through his marrows. Soon the darkish red blood became slightly brighter and more fluid. Ryuk when he was done spat out some black blood. "Third stage human body tempering." Ryuk prepared himself for his acupoint extraction.

He took a deep breath and took out two medicinal herbs drenching plum root and dragon tooth hair. Drenching plum root is known for its ability to cause qi to become more sticky this enables ease when extracting the acupoint potential. The main use of drenching plum root is to make it so forming a palace base is easier. Dragon tooth hair acts as a stimulant of the acupoint similar to temperature denaturing the cell membrane of the cell wall. The main use of dragon tooth hair is to enter into the skin cells through an application through a balm and then stengten the skin and make it more firm and resistant. Dragon tooth hair isn't really that good its just known for its ability to cause qi to become turbulent as it is collected from the tops of windy and thunderous mountains. This wild nature when applied through a balm allows the qi to stagnate as it cannot pass through the Meridians properly and therefore strengthen the skin cells especially. Ryuk first ingested the dragon tooth hair then commanded his qi to purify it. Then added some of his more chaotic oriented qi causing it to become like wild and dangerous. He carefully moved it to his Acupoint near his right hand. The wild energy slowly seeped into the acupoint causing it to shake uncontrollably and Ryuks hand to go numb. Finally the acupoint no longer being able to contain the energy anymore tore open yet it was rapidly healing itself. Ryuk quickly stuffed the drenching plum root into his mouth and his qi almost immediately became quite viscous. He shot his qi into the acupoint and focused. The acupoint was like maze and reaching the acupoint core where its potential laid was very stressful and hard. Ryuk had sweat beading on his forehead and his eyes scrunched. Soon his expression turned sharply and then commanded his qi to move out. The qi came out and alongside it was some gray like substance. The grey like substance was very powerful and seemed to be disdainful of all things. Ryuk quickly tried to manipulate it to form around the acupoint yet it remained inactive. Ryuk tried again yet it didn't move. The acupoint was about to become useless as it was about to heal without its core. Atleast before if he failed he could try again, yet now the acupoint had no core and would soon wither. The greyish substance although not moving wasn't doing nothing. It was rather stuck in place for a different reason. Ryuks blood flowed violently towards his acupoint space. Then the blood poured in scaring Ryuk thinking he had an internal injury. Yet before he could think he saw the blood collide with the greyish substance as did his myriad qi under the force of the rushing blood. The original disdainful grey core, became a shifting liquid seemingly combining everything within Ryuk. The core then on its own will sped to the acupoint and formed a ring around it. Before Ryuk could think anymore he felt large amounts of qi enter his hand through his pores. The yin qi tried to settle inside, yet the acupoint released an invisible force causing the yin qi to dissipate and form a colorless indifferent type of qi. The acupoint then giddy sucked it all up like a balloon in water. Ryuk meanwhile looked in shock as his hand plumped up. Soon after an hour it finished and his hand returned to normal although it was much more easy to move around and powerful and he felt an incredibly suction force from his hand. Ryuk thought "Although acupoints are said to increase your absorbtion ability is it really only that? When I opened the four poles I felt a connection with the earth and an ability to deduce my direction, location and the like such. This really helped me when I was in the tower of Babel as whenever I nearly fell into the illusion I could fell a sense of security coming from my four acupoints as if saying "Don't be a fool you are here not there!" Furthermore I've read that there are 3 acupoints in our head that connect us to a constellation in the soul realm. When the crown is fully activated we can get the assistance of constellations in our cultivation, alchemy, forging. If so what does the acupoint in my hand do?" The reason Ryuk of the three acupoints in the head as there was a Taoist named Arkua Dame who when he connected with the three constellations was able to make a great formation capable of trapping a saint with ease. For this he was killed and his formation was lost. Ryuk found a odd Loneliness when he thought of this Taoist. It wasn't that he was familiar with him, but rather he felt pity for him. The constellations in the soul realm form a connection not because of the acupoint, but rather the mentality of the person. The acupoint simply like a door leads somewhere. Ryuk wondered how scared one must be to make such a great formation of sealing.

Ryuk thought for a long time trying out many things yet there seemed to be no change in his hand. Ryuk sighed and began to focus on the rest of his acupoints. After 3 days he opened the acupoints in his right elbow shoulder and collar bone. Each one similar to the first one had a wild reaction. After 7 days he finished the acupoints on his left arm as Ryuk was right handed it was harder to manipulate the left side as he had less familiarity with it. After 3 days he finished the acupoints on top of his foot, on his shin and then finally the femur. After another 3 days he finished the left side. Ryuk felt his body weightless and brimming with potential and power. Ryuk sighed as he knew this heavenly feeling would soon turn into a fiery hell.

Ryuk took out a piece of cloth and stuffed it into his mouth and sucked his spit in agitation. He closed his pores tightly. He recalled the information "Cycling the qi in the body means to allow the violent energies to run amok in your body. The various bones, skin, blood vessels, organs, meridians and acupoints will be carved like a jade into an exquisite masterpiece." Ryuk shook his head violently. He forced his tamed qi to violently react. At first the qi was in a slight disorder, but soon like a tsunami it ran wild throughout his body. Ryuk felt his body well up in pain and agony as many bones were shattered and many meridians torn. After 6 minutes the rampage ceased as his violent qi was sucked back into his dantian. Ryuk then opened his pores with his last ounce of strength and then fainted. The qi externally flooded in and slowly Ryuks vitality increased. His muscles became fire and his skin tightened. His bones shimmered in a beautiful Pearly white. His Meridians which had been recently enlarged and weak from being stretched seemed like a touch leather. His organs had begun to absorb minute amounts of qi becoming more efficient or released from most impurities. Ryuks lifespan had increased by a substance amount. Finally his wood law was being subconsciously developed as was his water law. His wood law was being developed due to the idea of death comes vitality and eventually his thoughts led him to the food cycle a continuous cycle of vitality. The water law developed due to the way the qi entered his body and how everything flowed smoothly, and he had also developed a further understanding of water in terms of turbulence and peace. For example people think water is gentle and use that as inspiration in their behavior, but water is also chaotic and violent seeking to consume all. After a day of rest he woke up and found the new changes plentiful. He continued like this for 6 months and then he had finished his 73 cycle. Ryuk coughed up some blood and quickly sent wood qi to heal his internal wounds. Ryuk had an ugly expression he had just tried to start the 74th cycle yet he nearly died if he didnt stop it before it could spread his organs would have been tempered they would have been reduced to mush. Ryuk took a breath and after running around the mountain to gain a better grip of his body he sat down in contemplation. "I studied the medical recordings I have, but only two belong to humans furthermore Im not a human Im a devil. I'll keep the rest of body tempering for later after I get more documents and clinical data. Furthermore I should use various drugs to strengthen the organs for extra security." And with that Ryuk completed his training.

"Wait! The sect competition! I missed it due to training!" Ryuk said in abrupt realization. He quickly looked at the red and black fruit and after a bit of contemplation he stuffed it into his mouth. Ryuk felt his vision go black and he fell unconscious yet remained in lotus position.

The demon sacred grounds shook slightly.

In the library Grandpa book was reading like usual when he felt the tremor his eyebrows lifted high and he said in a despondent voice "Yet again one tries and I cannot help, but feel pity for my master and young master. Hope is after all more deadly than despair. For hope can slip away like water in your hands. It is but consequence for those to try for power, yet a fool actually chose to try and inherit my masters bloodline? How audacious! But wait... no demon has done it since those old days... it can't be can it? That brat! He's going to..." Grandpa book was interrupted by a violent shaking. In a black void underneath the mountain Ryuk was on a large figure opened its eyes causing dust to fall off. He had large spikey brown hair all over its body, a whirling dragon like tail. Red eyes with yellow moons present inside. The figure had large muscles and any person could easily describe its appearance. An ape.
