Punished to become the king.

Ryuks voice echoed loudly as an accidental cause of his internal agitation he couldn't control his voice.

Fairo seemed to be stunned and quickly turned into a furious aura flooding outwards.

The patriarchs smiled and seemed to not be shocked.

Ryuk could understand Fairo, but not the patriarchs. Ryuk had made a joke out of their sect elders even making the Patriarchs just chess pieces. Who liked to be manipulated and controlled?

Patriarch Crystal said with a laugh "Good, Good! See I told you, you old fogeys!"

Another male Patriarch with yellow hair and yellow eyes sighed and said "You Punks he was about to not come out, but at the last minute he did! You guys were stalling weren't you! Ah, I'm really losing money here."

Patriarch Crystal laughed and said "Your earning money! Your view of Cultivators has been Poisoned by the actions of scum, but now you see! Anyway Patriarch Yellow flash, Patriarch Ruby fire and Patriarch Herb witch you owe us three money."

Ryuk was stunned as was Fairo.

One of the two women among the six patriarch with green hair rubbed her gallbladder and then said "Fine, Fine you stinky boy! You were much cuter when you were young when did you become such a miser! Don't you know live and let live!"

She was Patriarch Herb Witch. She then looked at Ryuk and said "You don't have to be suprised. Perhaps we aren't omniscient, but we are still at least on our land constantly aware of all activities. We knew what you were planning, furthermore elder Fairo is truly guilty of some impure transgressions which affect the sect and require punishment. The issue of Dion whether true or not needed our attention and we would have punished Fairo regardless of whether it was what he did or not as a show of face and respect to Dion, but we didn't feel too comfortable about it. Patriarch Crystal here said you would come through and be honest, but we three here said you wouldn't. Either way we wouldn't care, but we are happy that in our sect their is someone like you. Although we don't discriminate between good and wrong in the Cultivation world their is still the need of kindness, genuine interaction and heart. We should cut of our affection, but if we totally remove it all that's left is a husk. Therefore although we could say you are in the wrong you pass our test!"

Another Patriarch who believed in Ryuk who was a forging patriarch named Patriarch Black Iron said "Yes! You've shown us good character in showing effort to protect and help you master, you also showed us responsibility to hold your mistakes front . Aswell as the desire to not allow the world to affect you, but for you to affect the world. A good Cultivation is important, but more so a good mindset. To never give up your principals that is what makes me willing to acknowledge you."

Patriarch Yellow flash said "They say big events show truth, but I would say it's the smallest things that shown a persons true colors. You impressed me with how you took responsibility."

Patriarch Crystal said "Demonic Cultivators are Cultivators as well. Yet the reason we fight wars and battles with them isn't because we believe we are good and they are bad. Nor are we trying to shove our ideas onto them, but the fact is innocent people are arbitrarily used as mere nutrients or food for their growth and that is what we cannot allow. Of course I won't say all sects are like this, but the Imperial sect is. We are the imperial sect showing our desire to continuously grab whatever chance to reach the crescent moon high in the sky, but we are not beings who mindlessly destroy or throw away."

To Ryuk these Patriarchs seemed like large giants who stood high above all yet they stood so tall to catch the sky and drag the earth so that others could live. They had their own beliefs and desires even wanting the ultimate thing to ascend and become more. They all had lives and those they love, but they didn't allow that to consume who they are. They stood mightily against the cruel lightning and fierce fires. They couldn't be said to be heros or good people having done their fair share of personal sins, but they stood here holding out against those who had forsaken life and even extending a hand to those who wished to live a life of their own making. Even if people didn't call them good or give them love they still held the sky up. That was the most beautiful thing.

Ryuk felt so stupid. He remembered his times from green doe village and believed that was the sky. Sure their were horrible people like there were their, but their were also many others like his master and these Patriarchs. The dream that the tower of Babel had shown him ingrained in his memories and soul seemed to crumble into dust and fade away.

Those haunting moments the tower of Babel had shown him that haunted him silently in the dark dissapeared as if so insignificant and Ryuk couldn't help, but laugh at himself for how seriously he took those moments.

Within Ryuks heart his Truth seed became to rattle wildly much more fiercely than when it came into existence. It rumbled and soon the bud spat outwards. It spread outwards and a single azure petal with white patterns stood powerfully. It was much more powerful than the prior birth of it.

Furthermore that wasn't all a purple seed also attached itself to the two seeds of beauty and slaughter.

It could be considered insane to do what Ryuk did, but it was also a beautiful thing what he did. Furthermore it could be said to be sane to contemplate as be did prior and insane to free oneself from the specific bindings of morality and ethics.

Three seeds all pulsated fiercely.

Outside a familiar blue shadow wrapped its arms around Ryuk, a black armored slaughter knelt and a new figure a giant purple eye appeared behind Ryuk.

Pressure fell off him shocking everyone.

Soon enough it passed, but similar to before their was a complete change to Ryuk, but more importantly his eyes changed no longer that of some foolish child.

Ryuk bowed deeply to the six patriarchs and said "Thank you Patriarchs! You have inspired this foolish child! I am eternally grateful and completely respectful of Patriarchs!"

They scratched their head wondering whether their words were truly so inspiring. Yet they took in strides.

Patriarch Ruby fire pulled on his robe and said "Cough! Of course! No worries lad it is our responsibility to guide the youths!"

Ryuk smiled gently as if a child causing the Patriarchs too feel a desire to protect Ryuk. The reason was simple the innocent meaning and humble thanks in the smile was humans rarely saw. Ryuk had truly and with that he seemed to have made some fans.

Ryuk looked towards Fairo and said "Senior I truly apologize. Their is need for words as they would simply be excuses for my behavior."

Ryuks tone, aura and true attitude could be felt. It was one of genuine apology and self deprecation.

Fairo was about to say something when Ryuk continued.

Ryuk said "Although it is true I was primarily at fault it is true you have not been totally infallible. I won't say anything about your desire for becoming sect leader, but please do it in a fair and true manner. Please let us diffuse the ill relationship between you and my master. Let us dissolve the factions and be honest and true simply for the sects betterment. We are all in the same sect so let us not let our enemies prosper. If you are truly qualified compared to my master be outwards and allow the sect to naturally transfer the power. Instead of falling deeper into confusion and chaos which allows one to dispose of another's life so cheap as today, let us destroy it completely and work together to protect our home. Please senior can we be better?"

Ryuk sent his hand out in a complete kind and true gesture.

Fairo was shocked as were the Patriarchs.

Fairo was silent for some time. Finally with a laugh he grabbed Ryuks hand and shook it saying "For our home let us be better!"

Their was a Beautiful freshness in Fairo's eyes.

The patriarchs also smiled. This had been their hopes for the sect to unify, but due to outside influence and other factors it had divided further. They had seen no hope of reunification between the factions and believed they would continue to fall. Yet Ryuk had managed to with words instead of force although not completely he had managed to allow the fences to be mended.

Thus this whole escapade could be said to be completed.

The matter of punishment for Fairo and Ryuk still needed discussion, but due to the fact that today the sect had started it's first real steps to unity they withheld it.

That night the sect was completely prosperous with banquets. Fairo and Riel shared drinks and stories and realized they weren't that different. They became extremely close as alcohol flooded their bodies. They even realized their ideas for the sect and such were similar. They laughed their way into the night fusing their relationship further leaving the discussion of the sects Future for tommorow, but one thing was sure their would be no more shadow plays or underhand tactics. They would be completely honest and friendly all for the sects betterment.

All of the inner disciples and core disciple's knew of the factions issue and had even fallen to their own factions breaking friendships and relationships. Yet today they drank away all the ill will and malice.

The elders all rejoiced and contemplated their new future as one sect!

The Moon hung shining lunar light onto everyone almost as if saying the era of the imperial sect had begun.

Ryuk similarily partied heartily.

Dion looked on chewing a kabab. He looked at Ryuk and smiled "He's interesting indeed."

...

Ryuk was in front of the Patriarchs again and this time it was related to the punishment of his actions.

They all had an amicable relationship with Ryuk and similarily felt a bit of thanks because of the fact his actions inadvertantly caused the sect to unify.

They had talked about it and eventually decided.

Patriarch Crystal waved his hand causes his robe to flutter in the wind. He looked like the embodiment of justice and authority.

Patriarch Crystal said "Ryuk for your actions disrespecting the name of our sect additionally harming the honorable elders of our sect we punish you to get the title of King in the sect competition upcoming! Although you cannot take the spots of the higher realm Cultivators you will take the highest among those of our realm! Bring glory to our sect!"

Ryuk was shocked, but stood up and said loudly "Yes Patriarch!"

To be fair after Ryuks recent change he didn't really care about winning the tournament and was going to be low-key. Even if he didn't become first place if he showed too much talent he would be targeted by the other sects and others. Karma is such like that. Furthermore winning against people required one to show their strength. Many used the hidden cards foolishly in this competition for benefits, but Ryuk didn't want that. He wanted to not insult himself by showing his hand and getting preparations done to counter him. Yet Ryuk thought getting first among the sect although not the best option for him, wasn't that difficult and troubling. He didn't need to show his hand among normal people because no matter how talented the resources, techniques and other hidden aces primarily belonged solely to those of a higher realm. So Ryuk was fine.
