Solo Leveling

Baron and Izayoi were standing on top of tall building waiting for Gil to find them.

Izayoi: "You planned all this."

Baron: "Yes, I did. Our enemies are getting stronger, this was not just a fun trip but also way to increase our strength. Your friend was not part of the plan."

Izayoi: "I knew it."

Baron: "Of course, you did."

They didn't pursue this matter any further and waited for Gil. A few minutes later, he appeared out of nowhere, it was easy for Gil to find them considering the amount of mana they release.

Gil: "It's been some time."

Baron smiled and said, "How has your training have been?"

Gil: "Considering I could use Ex rank attacks with B rank weapons, it's been fruitful.", he noticed that space was fluctuating behind Baron. "Preparing for another world journey."

Baron: "Yes..."

Gil: "It's going to be tougher than this one."

Baron: "Not necessarily, but there is going to be more fights in this one. Izayoi, try to keep your power down in this world, it could be a great place for combat experience."

Izayoi: "I'll try..."

Gil: "What is special about that world?"

Baron: "That universe is a little similar to this one. The Absolute Being in another world, split the forces of Light and the Dark into eight pieces each. These became the eight Rulers and eight Monarchs.

Their purposes set by the Absolute Being, the Monarchs wanted to destroy the Universe while the Rulers fought against them to maintain it. The Rulers, tired of the never-ending war begged the Absolute Being to aid them and destroy the Monarchs, so that peace could finally happen. The Absolute Being refused, and soon the Rulers discovered that the gruesome war between the Monarchs and the Rulers were merely for amusement.

Tired and filled with grief about the war, seven of the Rulers rebelled against the Absolute Being, all except Ashborn, who remained loyal. However, Ashborn's efforts were for nought and soon the seven Rulers succeeded in destroying the Absolute Being.

Ashborn, angered by the seven Rulers who killed the Absolute Being, joined the side of the Monarchs and became the Shadow Monarch.

When the Monarchs betrayed Ashborn and left him weakened and vulnerable, the Rulers came in with their armies. However, instead of killing Ashborn, they begged him, the Greatest Fragment of Brilliant Light, for forgiveness. However, Ashborn, whose wish for death was ignored by the Rulers, simply left. Because Ashborn had killed Baran, one of the Monarchs in the battle who betrayed Ashborn, the scales of war tipped to the side of the Rulers. Six of the remaining Monarchs hid in the gap between dimensions, biding their time and rebuilding their forces. The Monarchs still bent on destroying the Universe, had set their sights on another planet, Earth. Another war had ensued. and during it, Earth had been destroyed 7 times. Hoping to save Earth, who had no Mana and was destroyed in the war 7 times, the Rulers injected Gates into Earth to increase its Mana to survive the coming 8th war."

Izayoi: "Who is this Ashborn guy? You addressing him too much."

Baron: "Ashborn was the Greatest Fragment of Brilliant Light. In other words, the Strongest Ruler. When he, along with the other Rulers and the enemy Monarchs, were made, their purposes were set. To have war with one another and win. Eventually, the Rulers found out that the Absolute Being made the Rulers and Monarchs to fight each other for his own amusement. Angered and filled with grief from the gruesome war, the 7 out of 8 Rulers killed the Absolute Being. Ashborn was the only one out of the Rulers that was still loyal to the Absolute Being and tried to protect the Absolute Being against the angered Rulers, but he was outnumbered and killed, watching his faithful soldiers get swept away.

After 'dying', he realized that the Absolute Being planted a failsafe inside of it's most faithful servant, him, for when everything went wrong. A powerful and terrifying power capable of ending everything. The power of Death."

Izayoi: "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha... that's why you are interested in him. You are the God of Love, Lust and Death.", Izayoi stopped and asked, "Is he more powerful than you?"

Baron: "He merely adopted death. I was born in it, I am death. The death energy he uses is only of one universe."

Gil: "What about me? What am I getting from this?"

Baron: "Monarchs are just being made up of different energy. Kill them, and all the power is yours."
