Chapter 25

After a few days of resting, I finally recovered. "Glad you are feeling better, leader." Yazoyo happily greeted me.

"Thanks, Yazoyo."

It's a great feeling to finally be able to get back on your feet.

"Are we all ready to go?" I asked my guild.

They all turn towards me and smiled. "Yes."

On to the next area we go. Arabian Ruins. Let's hope we can find something good there.

"So this new area we are going to explore, what do they have there?" Syrus questioned.

"We don't know. That's why we are going." I explained.

Truthfully, I wanted to look for better armor. After being painfully wounded during the last battle, I feel that I have really low defense. Hopefully finding stronger armor will be better for me.

"I wonder if we could be able to find chrysoprase." Syrus pondered.

"Chrysoprase? What? The jewel? What for?" Yazoyo questioned.

"I read the guide book on the different skills and saw that it is a skill enhancer for fairy types. It helps them become stronger healers and buffers."

"Would we be able to find it in the Arabian Ruins?" Dana wondered. "I mean that type of jewel isn't usually found in those areas in real life."

"You never know. The guide book says that you can usually find them in hot areas. The caves have to be warm and humid. So, I suspect we could find it in the Arabian Ruins."

Hmm, I wonder if there are any stones that enhance defense. I mean, it might help, and I may not need to get new armor. If I could just enhance the armor I'm wearing, wouldn't it be better?

"I wonder if this is a pay to win game..." I mumbled.

"Hey! ಠ_ಠ I'm not that evil. Doing that to the people who already paid $100 for this game is just mean. I'm not like one of those *cough cough* pay to win type of games. Don't put me in that category. (`A´)"

Great. That's good to know. "So, does that mean I could just enhance my armor?"

"Yep! Have you heard about central stones and support stones? (✿ ♥‿♥)"

"No, what are those?"

"Well, let's start with central stones. Central stones are HP and defense enhancers. They are the ones that bring up your armor's strength. However, you have to be sure when your armor is at its limit, or you will just waste the central stones. Then you will need to limit break your armor. That way, you can continue leveling it up to the max level it can go. In order to limit break your armor, you need these gems called 'Diamonds.'"

"Diamonds? Like those diamond rings?"

"Yes, but these ones are special. These 'Diamonds' help the limit breaking. Way, way better than the real-life ones. (ᗒᗨᗕ)"

"That's cool. Now, how about support stones?"

"Keep your ears wide open. These are the important ones."

"Alright."

"Support stones are the ones that boost up your magic, water, fire, earth, ice, and more of the other resistances. These are the ones that are most important. Support stones, however, are very risky. They can break."

"What do you mean."

"Though central stones have a 100% accuracy, support stones do not. They have about a 30% accuracy."

"What? That sucks."

"Hey!(=`〜´=)I can't make life that easy for y'all! Give me a break. If all the times your stones were accurate, then all the players in this game would be too overpowered. You wouldn't want that, would you now?"

"I wouldn't mind. Then no one would die."

"〴⋋_⋌〵"

"Anyway, so what's the point of doing support stones if it's only a 30% accuracy?"

"Even though the accuracy is 30%, the amount of level ups you get is a lot. For example, if you level up with central stones, you only get 1 level up at a time from 1 stone. Support stones, on the other hand, are 6 level ups with one stone. So, in my opinion, it's worth it. No more having to worry about getting great amounts of damage from mages."

"Hmmm, you got me sold on it. So, how much does it cost?"

"5 gold pieces for one central stone, and 8 gold pieces for one support stone."

"And where do you find them?"

"Any store in the NPC villages. There should be one in the Arabian Ruins."

One in the Arabian Ruins? Great!

"Everyone!" I called out to my guild.

"What?" Yazoyo stopped walking and turned towards me.

"Let's buy central stones and support stones."

"What? Why? What brought this on?" Dana questioned.

I then looked at the developer's message. "Nothing much. I think it'll just be for the best if we buy these stones."

My friends then looked at each other and then looked back at me. "Alright then."

This may help us all become stronger. However, even though the developer helped me, the thought of him even talking to me brought an eerie sensation down my spine. Why would he possibly help me?
