Yuki Hinayana

Yuki sat upon a small stool staring outside as the sun shines upon the farm land. The rice tops blow in waves across the land. Yuki was interested she had never felt the dirt or water. Smelt the rain or heard a babbling brook in the lands. She had never lived but within the four walls of the cobblestone house surrounded by prayers and talisman.

Yuki being the daughter of a young priestess she never got to see what the world was like. Only from the window of the living space. As her mother cooked the morning, midday, and evening meals for Yuki and her to share. Though today Yuri was running a bit late on food and began to fill with worry.

"Yuki sweetie please pull yourself from the window..." Yuri calls, to her daughter.

Yuki taking a deep breath sighs and nods before pulling herself from the window and shutting the glass. Yuri sighs and stirs the food in the pan that hung over the fire.
