When Jack woke up it was 7:01, thankfully he had a clock next to his bed, or else he would be basically helpless in finding that out. Standing up he takes another one of those food cubes out but this time it's supposed to be a blueberry muffin but he was going to see if it actually tasted like one, he couldn't wrap his head around how this machine worked after all it turned a cube no larger than his thumb into a serving of soup. If it could do the same to baked goods that would be amazing.
After a minute of waiting the machine signified it was done with a ding and Jack opened it almost right after to reveal a perfect blueberry muffin on the plate he had placed in there, but what truly mattered was the taste, taking it out, he sits at a counter and bites into it, and it tasted amazing. Devouring the rest of it he takes a quick shower before changing into a different set of clothes he had found in a dresser last night while exploring his room. And after a quick process of brushing his hair, he decides to just go for a bit of a messy style today, too lazy to do anything else.
He opens the door to his room and walks over to the elevator he used yesterday, as the door opens he walks inside and goes to type in his user ID, but then realizes, there are no buttons..... he lets out a very long sigh shaking his head, a bit frustrated but before he could walk out of the elevator a short, blond male walks in, he was wearing a tank top and some shorts, though they had a similar them to Jacks T-shirt and joggers. "Heyyo! You're a new face here right? Is something wrong, wait where's your wristband, you can't get around here without one ya now, how did you even take it off-"
Jack quickly silences them. "I can't understand half of what you're saying when you talk that fast, so please slow down." They nod, taking in a deep breath, and then exhaling, doing that one more time before once more talking. "Sorry, I'm super energetic when I wake up in the morning no clue why, but you're new here right?" Jack nods. "Then why don't you have a wristband? No real way to get around unless your user ID has a specific allowed destination to go to, and that's controlled by security."
Jack quickly comes up with a lie not wanting to reveal his secret but also he probably wouldn't be believed by the guy in front of him. "Apparently I have an allergy to some of the 'chemicals' as I was told, that are injected into your body so I needed a specific one made for me, I should be getting it sometime today." When Jack says that the guy in front of him looks a bit closer at Jack, basically all around, making him a bit uncomfortable. "That's really cool and weird. Why do you have a super fancy metal leg?"
"Can you maybe introduce yourself before you look all over my body." He also thought it was a bit weird he could tell he had a prosthetic considering it was covered by his joggers but he decided not to question it.
"Oh! I'm sorry I completely forgot, my name is Joey, Joey Farkis. I specialize in drugs and poisons of all types, including medicine, so I've also studied on things related to anything medical since that's basically a required so you know where to inject what, and what does what which makes helps when you need to know where to inject a certain poison to kill someone the fastest way possible. But anyway enough about me, I was so distracted with your physical condition that I didn't get your name."
"Right, it's Jack Kan, I can use any gun you hand me without hesitation, and also I'm a strategist, though I don't know how much that matters since we really won't be in teams. Anyway, can you help me out here? I kind of can't get anywhere, and I don't know what's available to me in this place."
Joey gives Jack his normal bright smile. "Of course, here we should help each other out since these may be the only times we can talk and have a good time like this, after all, we only have thirteen days till the end of the month and we'll be on our way to Death's Kingdom!" He sounded like being Death's Kingdom was going to be a good time but in all reality, it's a world of constant death that only allows you six hours of sleep a day. As Jack proceeded to furrow his brow while thinking this Joey interrupted his thoughts. "So where do you want to go?" He shows Jack his wristband which shows floors 70-80 each floor with a use, though half of them were continuations of other floors.
80: Indoor Park fl3
79: Indoor Park fl2
78: Indoor Park fl1
77: Recreational/ Indoor Park fl0
76: Environment Training fl5
75: Environment Training fl4
74: Environment Training fl3
73: Environment Training fl2
72: Environment Training fl1
71: Gym/Weapon Training
70: Sleeping Quarters
69: Medical Facility
"Half of those are for Environment Training?" Joey nods, "They're already stretching the definition with how tall one 'floor' is, so they labeled multiple for the place, The Government Facilities are absolutely HUGE, so they can fit buildings inside here, we don't even have access to 2% of this place."
"I mean yeah they are pretty huge, makes you wonder how they take advantage of the size of the other floors. How about we go to the Gym first? I want to see what they have there." Joey nods before pressing on the floor, causing the elevator doors to close taking a second to get up to the next floor, and then the doors open.
