Otherworldly Info

Jack looked down one end of the hall there was a sign on it '4-10' he assumed that's where those who are tenth and up to fourth are staying, and looking down the other end he can see a familiar face walking down to his door, it was Igris. "Thought that I would let you sleep instead of train? Not how we work in the top ten, no sleep for the strong!" Before Jack could move to the side or close his door she pushed past him, walking straight to the couches motioning for him to follow.

Muttering a few words about privacy under his breath he closes the door and walks after her. "Now in position, as I told you before we were rudely interrupted. Your questions will be answered when tokin gets here, he's probably still practicing." Jack sits cross-legged onto a pillow he placed on the hard floor, before resting his arms on his legs and his hands face up one on top of the other in front of his stomach. Closing his eyes he first tries to let all of his thoughts escape him.

He remembered trying to meditate while on Beta while they were figuring out his class, getting a gun was the last option considering that he never did get any proper training with it. He then lets that memory float away, as he begins to focus on the feeling of the air around him, the energy of it. it felt like hours but it was probably only minutes before he could feel it. Then he could see it in his mind almost like he was looking at himself, but now there was an energy in him, right where his heart, like Igris, said it was like a ball of spike, they were long, precise, and deadly.

For a second his mind went blurry before igris appeared a bit away from him, her smile was bright. "Here we are! Your headspace, normally you see your ideal version of yourself how you want to look, but it seems you're ok with the way you look which is perfect! It took a while for Toky to get his self-image to perfection, it was also a bit of a rough ride but don't tell him I told you that." Jack was confused about what was going on. Looking down he could see an almost ghostly version of himself, his skin was a pale white compared to his normal tan, walking towards the other version of himself.

"So that's me? But like, the real me?" Igris nods. "It is, considering that is how you look in the outside world, so you can see your aura right? I want you to focus on it, try to expand it. Wait no, better idea, try to bring it to your left eye, that's the one you look down the scope with right?" Jack nods as he closes his eyes and begins focusing on the ball of energy. Soon it felt like it was almost in his hands. He brings his hands up till he can't anymore before he brings it to the front again reaching a sort of barrier.

Opening his eyes he finds that the ball is right on the tip of his nose, closing his eyes once more, he moves it to the left of his face right where his eye should be, opening his eyes once more he smiles when he sees that it was right in the center. "You're a natural at it! Now while you were doing that Toky came so uhhh, this may seem a little confusing considering you in a 'different body' but I want you to open your eyes." Jack tilts his head to the side. "Yeah definitely easier said than done." Closing his eyes he tries to imagine himself in his body, opening his eyes back into the empty darkness still looking at the real him.

Trying a bit harder this time but he was still unsuccessful. Letting out a long sigh as Igris just watched him try. He tries once more this time being a bit more patient imagines himself as he was before he went into his headspace. Taking in a deep breath he smelt death. Opening his eyes to see Tokin lazy laying on one the sofa in front of him. "How was it?" He leans in, allowing Jack a closer look at his rough appearance and sharp features, but Jack quickly leans up. "Confusing." Standing up he picks the pillow up before tossing it back onto the sofa he got it from.

Igris who was sitting back on said couch opened her eyes. "You're a natural Jack, if it weren't for your skills with a gun and you actually trained your aura I'd think you were a psychic!" Jumping off the couch she walks over to the minibar pouring herself a glass of water. Downing it in one go before. Rubbing his left eye Jack closes his right before observing his hand, "Is it just me or doe-"

"Everything looks more detailed? Just you, that's what your aura did! It was sharp and precise so now you can see everything better and in more detail. Next, we'll go over splitting your aura so that we can put it in both of your eyes but that can wait until Toky explains everything." TOkin glares at her. "I told you not to call me that." Leaning back he turns to Jack, his mouth twisting into a friendly smile, making him seem twenty times less aggressive than he was... ever.

"Now then, I'm sure you're wondering what I want to tell you but first there's something you're forgetting." He points to Jack's wristband, and Jack remembers the three thousand kill investment he got that would unlock after he got top five, his wristband turns on and goes to the investor tab.

"Wait, they can tell us about the other worlds?!" Jack looked at the messages he just got with excitement. Tokin nods. "Read it first, I'll answer questions after."

Going back to the main screen of his wristband besides the 'Team' and 'Contract' tabs that appeared he now has a tab called 'otherworldly Information' Going to that a long list of text with some pictures appear. Skipping over Beta, 'Homeworlds', and Death's Kingdom which talked about the three worlds he has seen so far, he moves his eyes onto the place right after it, it was a pretty bland name, just called 'D Arena'.

D Arena: D Arena has a couple of names the two most common being Duelist's Arena or Death's Arena. D Arena is a tournament-style world where you face off against others of your class until you're the last one standing. You will get all of the kills they gained in Death's Arena as well as the ones they gained from their fights on D Arena. In the end, the winners of each class will be grouped into temporary teams for the next world.

Jack reads over it in interest before moving onto the next.

Questing Haven: In the teams you were paired up with, you will have to go around and complete quests gaining points, you will get points depending on the difficulty of the quest from E-SS+. You can kill other teams completely to gain half of their points as well. All dead teams respawn at ten unless the team had zero points. (Killing a team with zero points gives no points to your team.) This world has a time of two months instead of one, by the end of these two months, you will gain kills depending on how many points you have. The top fifty teams will move onto the next world, the bottom fifty will go back to a D Arena and have to make their way back to Questing Haven.

Those were the only two worlds Jack could read about. Looking up at Tokin, so all I have to be is the best in my class for now right?" Tokin shrugs, "Yeah sure but then there's the next world 'split' it's fifty-fifty, all players being put on the blue or red team, on Saturdays we learn what games we'll be doing on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The weekend is your time to strategize and think of how you're going to outplay your teammates. All players are based on categories, Team Player, Support, Kills, Objective scores, you gain points based on how well you did in those four categories, the top four in each of those categories for each team can move on, the top five in general from each team can move on as well. However, the winning team, the players that don't get to move on will be able to stay on Split the other will be going back to Questers Haven... Got all that?"

Jack nods his head, "I assume the dead player will 'respawn' at the end of the day?" Tokin shrugs. "Don't say, which is strange considering I have quite a bit on the worlds. So, me and Igris have a strategy but it involves your investors to be listening so," he points over to a remote on the coffee table Jack was standing next to. "Press 'il', all your investors will be able to hear what's being talked about in this room." Jack thought that they could already but taking the remote he quickly found the button labeled 'il', pressing it a robotic voice echoed through the room. "You have activated Investor Listening, all of your investors will be able to listen to what is spoken about in this room."

"So Investors, I want you all to make a large investment to make sure this all works out for us, make sure none of us reach the same world as each other until G.H"
