A Flesh Wound

Jack stood up brushing some dirt from off his shorts. "So happy huh." Igris doesn't answer while they drag jack along and out of the oasis. "I'm sure there are a couple of people around here, use that sniper of yours." patting him on the back she then disappears back to the oasis.

"What have I gotten myself into?" Shaking his head he plops down on the sand, which was a bit of a mistake as some of it went into his eye. Quickly rubbing it out he takes his sniper and begins looking around at the vast desert surrounding him. At first, he didn't spot anything but soon quickly spotted someone walking along the side of a pretty tall dune.

Taking a quick second to aim he fires but it falls short, and now he has the attention of the person he shot at. Looking down at his sniper he smiles at it. "You tried your best." Placing it into his storage he looks through the plethora of snipers he could buy but there was one that he specifically wanted. It had some insane recoil but Jack could withstand it, it was an INN-S Cyclone Pulse Rifle that had one of the highest energy outputs out of any class of weapon and an amazing range.

However, he didn't know that it cost one thousand kills which was the exact amount he had. With a disappointed huff, he closes the shop menu looking back up to find the person he shot at was gone. Or so he thought instead he felt a sharp searing pain in his shoulder that would have brought any normal person to their knees in pain. Hiding behind the dune he was standing on he lets out a string of curses.

Taking out his sniper once more he tries to sneak a bit closer to the source of the shot and while he was doing this he could tell how much the minor regeneration was helping him. By the time he successfully sneaked into range which was an unbearably long time, his wound had already stopped gushing blood however the giant hole in his shoulder was still there.

He takes the scope off of his sniper as he brings it up above the new sand dune he was hiding behind. Since the sun was very noticeable he would have to eye it so that his position wouldn't be revealed but it was still pretty risky. The only reason he was trying this was because he could the range of his vision had increased a great amount. Before this, he would've known that his gun was out of range since the person he was gaming at would've been a small spec. But he could see a general shape of them. After finding the person he shoots and kills them.

System:

You've just killed Sadie Bon and have gained 374 kills.

Smiling to himself, he winces as he remembers the wound and notices that some sand had gotten into it. Taking out the jug of water he had brought with him he cleans it out a bit, puts the jug back into his inventory, and continues on his way to complete his own aura's requirements.

The end of the day came quick and Jack was sweating from every pour, even when the sun had set it felt like it was at full force. Once he was brought back to his room he didn't even wait a second before going to the shower, and once he got out he noticed that Igris was already waiting for him.

"I can't even shower without one of you barging in huh?" Igris shrugs. "Tokin was the one who wanted to come here." She points over to Tokin who Jack hadn't even noticed, he was leaning against the wall next to the minibar drinking some sort of mixed drink, he also seemed very lost in his thought until his name was mentioned which looked a bit unusual for him.

"Hmmm? Oh yeah, no work for now, instead I wanted you to look at something so follow me." He walks over to the door with his drink still in hand. Walking out he takes a right, glancing over to Igris who looked at him with a shrug they both quickly followed. Walking past what seemed to be Igris' room he goes to a set of double doors down the hall, looking back behind him to make sure they were still following while he was swinging the doors open.
