Greenwaters

The Counsel is the leaders of the city, Greenwaters. Their large city was surrounded by a 250 foot stone wall. Greenwaters is 100 acres in total. The city is shaped like a circle, with farm lands on the edges, houses and shops inside of the farm lands and outside of that was the huge Counsel court in the middle. The Counsel is mostly humans but 1 or 2 representatives of each species. The Counsel helps control the population in the city and it helps keep peace with the other species. The Counsel is the one who built the walls. It was to protect them from the predators.

After the nuclear war humans began to change. Some grew feathers, some grew gills, and some grew fur. Of coarse not all changed, those that didn't are labeled Pure. The Pure where moved to safe cities and protected. The ones that changed where moved to where they belonged. For example their was a girl from a Pure family, she started to grow fangs and her eyes turn to snake eyes. Scales started to grow over parts of her body, her nose and ears dissolved into her body. She was taken and moved to were her species belonged. After kids started to change the government argued how to fix it, soon they spit. The Pure cities had their own Counsels that governed them.

The ones that changed had clans, packs, herds, and other names for their groups. When a Pure begins to change they are sent to the Counsel to be tested and sorted.

On rare occasions the Counsel will call Pure young ones to be sent into a changed group. It was part of the agreement that the elders made. It bring new blood into they groups and controlling the population of the cities. The changed have learned how to change Pures into their species. The ones that are changed by the machines are different than the natural changed but both is weaker than the Full blood.

Hunter, Evan and Adam stood outside the Council building. They didn't talk, they watched each other. They have been summoned to be sent to a changed group, they studied each other to see if they can figure out where that person is going. Suddenly a women, well half a women, came out of the huge glass doors. She is half sea serpent, her long tail slithers to a stop and coils itself at the top of the stairs. The clothing of the half serpent is that of a very loose teal shirt, decorated with beads and shells, a sapphire necklace and bracelets is all she wore. The most interesting part of her was the hair on her head, it had the same pattern as her tail. Black top but the hair under it was yellow.

"I have selected one of you to join my nest," her voice was rough and she actually held the s's out, "My name is Ariadne, now when I call for you please come forward, Even Solis."
