In reality, the voice is actually a real life human. Everytime he doesn't play the game, Steve does not respond to a line of code that tells him to not do anything. The Minecraft world responds to Steve. When Steve moves, the world continues to be alive.
The voice considers this as a problem. So he takes the laptop to a repair store. Steve worries that he is the problem. So for 24 real life hours, he stood still. To him, it was 72 days. He kept the world paused.
Thus, at the repair store, no problem was observed. But, the voice decided to perform a software troubleshoot. Steve was shaking. The voice suspected that Java had one single very minute error in it's code. This error made all Java files continuously run even when the computer was shut down. Like how the clock continuously ran when the laptop is shut down.
Good thing such a code doesn't exist. Steve will be fine for now
