With Ireya in his arms, he trodded along the dirty path for many hours. He found her to be quite abnormal, she hadn't complained a single time and wasn't hungry in the slightest.
After a few more hours he grew used to her abnormality, he had gone through a lot in life. Something this small wouldn't affect him, if his new daughter was abnormal then so be it, she'd be exactly like him.
The sound of the screaming beasts and the fighting between them only caused Ireya's eyes to glisten, she didn't react negatively to it, instead, she seemed to be intrigued by it. "Your gonna end up just like your dad at this rate, just another battle junky!"
He giggled at her reaction and continued onwards, he had gently injected energy into her to see if there was anything wrong but to his relief, there wasn't. Instead, her energy was out of the roof, it was way too high for a baby. But there wasn't anything wrong with that, it just meant that in the future she could reach levels beyond imagination.
'I better speed up now, it's getting dark.', he formed a small barrier around Ireya.
And then, he drastically sped up. The forests around him quickly disappeared and were replaced by endless fields of wheat, farmers hoeing, and harvesting food, these golden fields were also quickly left behind. The wind blew a trail of strong winds behind him, ruining a small amount of the crops.
A few seconds later he arrived before a magnificent city, with walls that towered beyond what the eye could see and an abundance of carriages and horses could be seen entering and leaving the city, conducting trade.
His golden hair blew about in the wind, he looked down at Ireya, "Welcome to Seven Sword's city, this shall be your home from now on!"
He walked up to the tolling station and queued up for a short hour, after paying a small fee he was able to finally enter. He strolled through the streets and pointed at many of the shops, introducing them all to Ireya.
"Ha! Do you want some apples again young man!", a smiling middle-aged woman stood behind a fruit stand waving Seven over.
"I don't need anything, for now, thank you for the offer!", waving back at her he continued walking.
"Heh? Am I seeing things or is he holding a baby in his arms?, the middle-aged woman was confused momentarily but started smiling, happy for him.
"The young man has finally grown up!"
---
A short stroll later he stopped before a house, a small plate was placed in front of this house with the words 'Misty Sword' at the front.
He waited for a minute and then the door slowly swung open, a sweet smell wafted out as figure slowly came out. This figure had long blonde hair and a hefty body, their clothes the embodiment of wealth. "Your back honey!"
"Mhm, I'm back!", he smiled softly at her appearance.
Her eyes drifted down at the baby in his arms, the mood suddenly dropped by many degrees.
"Heeeee... I see you don't want me anymore...", a deep voice exploded out of her throat.
"Huh?", he froze momentarily.
"Ah no! It's not what you think it is!"
Step by step she approached him, cracking the tiles beneath her feet, her hair flying in the wind. "Is it now..."
"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
"Look you're scaring the baby! Relax for a second!"
Then the mood returned to normal, only for a short period though.
He hurriedly began explaining himself, "Look, you can even check if she has any of my blood inside of her!"
She stared at him for a second and gently took the baby into her arms, she placed her finger onto Ireya's forehead and penetrated her forehead with her energy. "Hm... Your right she doesn't."
It was only now that she finally relaxed, "But then why did you bring this baby with you? Don't tell me you stole it from a family just so you could finally have a child of your own! Just because I can't have children it doesn't mean you can go around stealing from other families!"
"No, I didn't steal from anyone, what type of man do you think I am?"
"So you're telling me you didn't throw the family that previously owned this house out? And what about when you took my mother's jewelry and pretended as if you had bought it as a gift for me?"
"Hahaha... That was all just a misunderstanding... Just a misunderstanding...", he shook his hands in a fluster.
"But seriously, where did you get this baby from?"
"I found it abandoned in a shack in the middle of Liers Forest."
Silence.
"You can come up with a better lie you know? We both know that no one can enter or leave that forest if they're too weak, and the only people strong enough in this world would be you, Seven Swords, and those 6."
"That's also why I'm also confused, those 6 wouldn't be able to have kids anymore now. Plus none of them can enter and leave under my nose, so there has to be someone else..."
"This is a serious matter...", the lady pondered for a little while until she was awoken by the baby sucking on her thumb.
"So cute...", she was a bit dumbstruck, this was her first time playing with a baby.
"We can keep her, can't we? Please..."
"Okay then... Do you know what her name is?"
"Ireya."
"Nice name."
---
Just like that one year passed and Seven Swords was now getting along very well with his daughter, his wife had also warmed up to her presence as well now. Perhaps when he left again this time she wouldn't be alone in the house and bored, that was one of the reasons why he had been desperately trying to get a baby with her.
"Mummy, when will I get to grow strong just like Daddy?", a cute little girl with short beautiful black hair could be seen tugging at the hair of a beautiful blonde lady.
"You won't be able to for another 5 years Ireya, be patient okay?", she laughed lightly at her enthusiasm and ruffled her hair up.
"Awww... Okay..."
The wind blew and a figure appeared before them, "Did someone mention me?"
"Daddy!", Ireya ran into the figure at full force hugging him with all of her strength. Her short, 80cm height could barely reach up to his waist.
"Hoh! You're getting strong Ireya!" He was telling the truth. She was truly powerful, way too strong for a one year old. If she fought a kid who was 6 she would probably beat them up, that's just how strong she was. Of course, that didn't include children who had started training, against them she wouldn't stand a chance.
"One day I'm gonna be stronger than daddy!"
"I'm looking forward to it!", he smiled at her then looked up at his wife.
"How are you doing Fanelle?"
"Better than you at least."
"How's her education going?"
"Good as you can see, she's learning very quickly. She already understands the entire language and can speak fluently, I'm planning on teaching her basic arithmetic soon."
"Hahaha! That's my daughter for you!"
But he only gained a scornful look.
"She might be way younger but I think she's gonna be able to compete with them!", he had a proud look on his face as he said that.
"Hey it's way too early for that, she's only one right now. Also don't say stuff like that in front of her, otherwise, you might turn her into a battle junky too."
"Daddy! Who's them?"
"See what did I tell you!", she picked up her small fist and punched at his face.
"Ow! Ow! Stop this is just gonna make things worse!"
"Hahaha! Mummy and Daddy fight!"
"See! I told you she'd turn into a battle junky because of you!"
"Ahhhhhhhhhh! Your only making things worse!"
"Shut up!"
Ireya stood there clapping and shouting as she watched her Mummy and Daddy chase each other around and punch each other. Her small frame continued hopping on for hours as she watched her mummy and daddy roll over each other and then slowly get closer to their bedroom and plop, the door closed shut before her.
Ireya then slowly put her hand down and stared at her fingers for a moment, a flying thought randomly crossed her mind at this moment.
'I'm missing something.'
She didn't understand why she had this thought but she soon forgot about it and ran off and started playing with the toys that her parents had bought her.
