Cultivators Alliance

Leaving the store she found Raya waiting on the side with her arms crossed.

Raya opened her eyes and waved Ireya over, "Did you buy it?"

"Nope."

"Hmm? Why didn't you buy it?"

"It's going to be sold at some auction 3 months from now."

"Klaymore's Auction House?"

"Yeah, that's what its called."

Even Raya was surprised when she heard that name, it was a major auction firm spread all around the continent if it was that auction house then the gem had to be extremely valuable.

"You can go there after you enroll in the Cultivators Alliance and train for a while there."

"Train in the Cultivators Alliance?"

"That's right, the Cultivators Alliance is like the school for cultivators and you can easily get instructors who can aid you in your cultivation efforts. You can also buy herbs and pills from there in exchange for money, it's the perfect place for cultivators."

"Oh, I get it now."

---

After a while, they arrived before a giant Pavillion, the marble and limestone blended in perfectly forming a giant structure. The structure enveloped an area of more than 100 acres alone, the price to build it was most likely beyond imagination.

At the top were two words, 'Cultivators Pavillion', looking at the words Ireya's eyes began burning up and tears flooded down her face. The pain gradually grew worse.

"Don't look!", Raya quickly covered up Ireya's eyes.

Ireya took this moment to clean her eyes up, "What was that?"

"That was the manifestation of the Laws of the Universe."

"What? How is that even possible?"

Shaking her head Raya responded, "There are many things in this world that may seem impossible but are perfectly possible, your dad is the perfect example of this."

"My dad?"

"Nevermind. Follow me.", Raya avoided her question and continued.

They stepped up the stairs leading into the front door, the inside was extremely clean and kind on the eyes with no harsh colors.

"Hello young misses, may I ask why you come here today?", an older man stepped out as they entered, a kind smile on his face.

"Ireya here would like to take the Cultivator Test and join the Cultivators Alliance, I would also like to join but on special terms instead."

Nodding he responded, "Understood, I shall take the young girl with me, I believe you know what you have to do, correct?"

She nodded and parted ways from Ireya leaving her with the old man.

"Shall we go then?"

Without waiting for a response he turned and walked ahead, Ireya followed behind.

He lead her to a door and instructed her to wait inside, after watching her enter he turned back around and headed to the entrance once again.

Once she entered she found herself in an enclosed room with a dozen other people, some were a bit older but most looked young and around her age. When she entered all eyes turned to her, some nodded, some gazed on for a bit longer and others simply ignored her. She sat down on one of the seats and closed her eyes.

She unconsciously began meditating, the Ten Sovereign Swords Manual popped into her mind. She read the instructions for it over and over again and slowly comprehended the First Sword, once she fully comprehended it she would be able to use the Mist Sword within her to destroy any poison that entered her body and even speed up the rate at which she could purify her body.

For now, if she tried purifying her body at an extremely fast pace she would gain an unstable foundation and ruin her future as some toxins may not be purified so she had to take her time. But if she mastered the First Sword she could purify it must faster.

After an hour of meditation, the wall on the opposite side of the door slowly split open revealing a middle-aged man and woman.

At the same moment, they stepped forward bursting out with a magnificent force, most people could handle and only shivered but others were sweating and some were almost forced to their knees. Ireya fully ignored this force as she had gone through much worse in Hades Ring.

"Urgh!", one young man couldn't handle it and dropped down to his knee.

"You're out!", the middle-aged man's voice swung the door open and violently shoved the young man outside.

Bam!

The door suddenly closed back up.

Seeing this, those who were almost on their knees pushed as hard as they could.

Bam!

Another dropped and was thrown out, by the end of it 6 people were disqualified. Looking around she saw that there were many new faces now, in total 24 people remained.

The force then disappeared, confused by the sudden change in pressure some of the weaker contestants dropped to their knees.

Bam!

They were also thrown out, now only 20 people remained.

The middle-aged woman began talking, "You may be wondering why we did that, but the reason is quite simple. If your willpower wasn't strong enough to handle this tiny bit of pressure then why bother becoming a cultivator."

Some of the contestants frowned but none of them dared to speak out in fear of being disqualified.

But then somebody spoke, "That's wrong."

All eyes shifted to the person who spoke, "Not everyone here has experienced anything like that before, I, for example, was only able to handle it due to my previous experience in the field."

"Brave!", the man's voice erupted at the speaker trying to force them onto the ground.

To his surprise, this person didn't drop, he was about to exert even more force but then the lady next to him stepped out, "You're interesting, why do you say this?"

"Because it's wrong."

"Is that the only reason?"

The speaker nodded, "Yes."

"So be it then, we'll allow you to continue and even bring back those last 4 that were kicked out. But in exchange we'll make the combat test much harder, is that fair?"

The speaker spoke once again, "What if I want to bring back the rest of them?"

"You'll have to beat both of us in a fight, and if you lose we'll kick you out and ban you from participating, you won't be able to take the next test again in 6 months.", the middle-aged woman gave out a ridiculous offer.

The speaker went silent for a moment and shook their head, they may want justice for those people but they weren't willing to lose the chance to continue, "I'll take the first offer instead."

"So be it, the combat test will be made harder for you."

The rest of the participants suddenly started speaking out loud.

"Is she crazy, speaking out to the instructors like that!"

Some of them even looked at her in disdain and simply shook their heads, "There's no point in butting into other people's business."

Looking at all of these people the speaker wanted to laugh at them all, instead, the speaker ignored them. The speaker was Ireya.

"As they say, big boobs but no brain.", some of the men began laughing as they heard this.

Ireya traced the person who said it back to an older female contestant, looking at her chest she understood why said this. 'Raya told me about this, the jealous women.'

"Silence!", the middle-aged man silenced them quickly.

Bam!

The door opened back open letting the 4 who had dropped at the very end back in, they were confused but didn't ask any questions, they appreciated the chance to try again and didn't want to lose it.

"There are four tests for you to pass, you have already passed the first one now. The next one shall be the spiritual power test, you need to know that there are 3 different ways to cultivate. The first one is Physical Cultivation, the second, Energy Cultivation which is the most common one, and the third one, Spiritual Cultivation, to cultivate the mind that is. All three are linked in the end but I doubt any of you will reach that far so I won't bother explaining."

"The next test is to see how high your Spiritual Talent is, if your spiritual talent is too low there would be no point to take you in as you wouldn't be able to learn fast enough. This test is simple, you have 6 hours to comprehend a technique which fits your way of practice. Each technique has the same level of difficulty so don't worry."

Each person then went up one by one to him and wrote down on a piece of paper what sort of practice they use. He then flicked his hand and sent out 24 manuals from his sleeve, Ireya looked at his sleeve and recognized the ring on his finger, 'Spatial Ring'

Boom...

A low heavy noise arose from the walls, 24 separate doors slowly appeared.

"All of you enter a room, the moment the door closes you have 6 hours to comprehend as much as you can."

She then entered a room and watched as the door closed behind her, the moment she heard the thud the room lit up and a timer appeared on the wall which was counting down.

Sitting down she examined the Sword Technique, written at the front was, 'Basic Sword Technique 57'

Opening it up she quickly began reading through it, half an hour later she had already fully comprehended it. It was quite easy for her, Lonely Sword, on the other hand, was thousands of times harder to practice, even after eleven years she had yet to perfect any of the first 5 moves and was years away from understanding the 6th move.

She then stood up and practiced the Sword Technique, the essence of this technique was simple. After an hour of practice, she had most of the moves down and was quite close to reaching the level of Completion. Your Skill level was separated into a few realms, Introductory, Beginner, Small Accomplishment, Grand Accomplishment, Completion, Perfection.

With Lonely Sword she had only reached Small Accomplishment in all of the moves and was getting somewhat close to Grand Accomplishment with the first two moves.

---

By the time the 6 hours were up she had reached Completion in all 12 moves, if she had done any worse she worried her daddy would begin shouting at her through the sword.

"Now that I think about it, the sword hasn't communicated with me in the past 4 years, ever since I left he's gone silent.", she was worried that she wouldn't be able to talk to him again.

Her thought process was then interrupted by the door opening back up.
