Fierce Battle

People fighting with monkeys could be seen all over the place. If the fight between humans and monkeys are one-on-one, that would be a breeze in a park for the humans. But in reality, a battle isn't always one-on-one Although the monkeys don't have strong defence and their attack are weaker than a normal child, but with tens or more of them targeting a single person, it could be a disaster.

The guards fighting in the outer perimeter are currently slicing and stabbing the monkeys continuously. But the monkeys still keep on attacking without showing any sign of fear. Piles of monkey corpses could be seen building up.

The Forest Vines Monkeys keep on attacking relentlessly. Monkey after monkey keeps on coming. From the looks of it, there are no end of them.

There have been four deaths so far on the side of the guards and about seven of them injured. While the monkeys has over 200 deaths. But there are no sign of the number of monkeys decreasing. In fact, it could be seen that there are more than ever before.

Although the casualties at the side of the guards isn't much. It couldn't be say as such at the side of the kids. Almost a quarter of all of them gone in an instant. Most of them fell when the monkeys first breached through the guards. And the number will still keep on increasing.

Not to mention, it has only been over 30 minutes. And it looks like that it won't be over anytime soon.

Finn is currently dodging the monkeys left and right by executing the and finishing them off in an instant with his bare hands. The way he fights is by dodging them and then attacking their vital body part, finishing them off.

Even if he doesn't dodge it, he won't be hurt by them since he has already trained his whole body to be more though and stronger than a normal kid. With the addition of full mastery of the first stage of which gives the passive ability of having the user's defences strengthen and the active ability of being able to have a strength multiplier of 1.3, these monkeys' attacks and bites won't even sting him.

That's right, the doesn't just a passive ability. It also gives the ability of having your strength multiplied by 1.1 if fully mastered. Having an additional 10% increase in strength is great. And after mastering the second stage, the increase will be 20%.

He suddenly remembered that Greem once told him in that forest before he robbed him of his manual that he is going to attack him with 1.2 times his strength. After reading through the manual, he knew that Greem was boasting about it. Although he felt a slight increase in the strength of Greem, it probably was so minuscule he didn't realise it.

But what made the famous is not the attack multiplier rather its defence. Greem probably doesn't realise it since he only ever boasted about its strength.

While Finn is currently dodging the monkey, finishing them off and honing his abilities and skills, Dran is a couple meters away from him, fighting his own set of monkeys. He doesn't have a problem fighting the monkeys but he is worried because the monkeys are not decreasing at all.

Slashing them one-by-one with blades on both his hand, making a small pile of bodies near him, he then turns his head to see Finn easily finishing them easily with his hands and fingers by either stabbing their vital parts or breaking their neck, making a pile much bigger than his.

"Finn, you sure make it look it so damn easy. You look like someone who has been doing this for ages. If I were a girl, I would probably marry you straight away!"

"Good thing you're a male then. I would probably hide away, afraid to see the light of day if you were female. And why don't you safe that damsel in distress, north-east of your position."

"Woah, you're right! Wait here Finn! I'll go save my princess!"

"I wonder, how many princesses do you have? Anyways, off you go."

This is not the first time that Dran has rescued a person. Dran has already saved a couple of people, well mostly ladies. While Finn mostly did nothing about them, only telling Dran what he sensed. Although he isn't a kind person, he is definitely not a heartless person.

The reason that he doesn't even bother to rescue them is that there is still a linger of resentment left by the original Finn in his heart to these kids who did nothing and only stare when he was bullied. Dran was the only one who stood up for him. He is the only person the original Finn could call a friend here.

Not long after Dran left, he senses a kid running towards his direction while being chased by a couple monkeys. There are no one near Finn since Dran has just left. The kid then trips over a rock and falls to the ground. Seeing the kid fell, the monkeys hasten their steps to strike the kid.

The kid is in despair. Having no where else to run to, he thought that this is the end of him. When suddenly, multiple rocks speeding through the air pierce through the monkeys' heads and body. The kid opens his mouth wide with shock seeing some of the monkeys suddenly drops dead and some are injured. Not wasting any chances, he strikes down the remaining injured monkey with his sword.

He looks at the direction where he saw those flying things and sees Finn crouching there, grabbing a couple of pebbles and stones, storing it inside his pockets. He then goes near Finn.

"Hi there, Thank you very much for saving me! I really appreciate it! I see you a lot with Dran, my name is Doug. It seems that you are quite strong. I'll give you the opportunity to team up with me!"
