Chapter 171: Packing

I carefully dropped Melony into a box as she slept. Her abused body breathed softly, and I punched a hole in the bottom. I sealed it up and had a smelly blanket put over the top of her to cover her scent. It wasn't the best solution, but I needed to get her out of the warehouse. This way, I could easily kill her if needed too, and I wondered if she would wake up during passage.

Looking at the current issue, I had nothing to haul back a box with Melony in it. I wished I had a dolly or something. Instead of waiting around, I left the warehouse and noticed the boy watching the place. I contemplated killing him or not, and a frown appeared on my face as I contemplated his doom. It was a seriously hard choice, and I decided it was better; no one even knew what I was up to. This transport would be out in the open, but I wasn't advertising it openly the fact I was packing.

This would need to be secret and completely covered up by the fact that I was moving stuff from my warehouse. I quickly turned and reinstated the Enchantments, and mana flowed as I turned from the warehouse. I ducked into the streets and blended into the crowds while the boy looked in my direction, with him seeing me leave. His eyes watched me till I was out of sight before I turned into an alleyway and began to make my way back.

Soon the breeze drifted through my fur as I got on the rooftops and moved towards his direction while hiding. Moving silently, I approached from a blind angle to the window and stepped into the building he was hiding in through another window with a broken lock that I broke. Silently I walked on old abandoned floorboards and wondered briefly who had lived in this place close to a warehouse.

Quickly I arrived at the young boy as he watched my warehouse that could barely see the front gate. The Enchantment lines were obvious to an observer such as me, but the boy looked bored as he stared. "At around mid-morning to late morning," The boy mumbled to himself, "The scary girl entered the warehouse and left early afternoon looking like she was on a mission for something." He nodded to himself, and I saw him relax and lean his head on the sill of the window as I closed in on him and pulled out my knife.

"This stuff is boring," He complained.

My fingers tangled in his hair suddenly, and he gasped just as my knife plunged into his throat, cutting both arteries off and his breathing completely as he began to choke on his own blood. I shoved his head forward and down onto the knife as I retracted it, and I could hear his death gargles as his arms strained up to pull my hands off his head.

I let the boy fall onto the floor, where he promptly, for a moment, tried to stop the blood flow before he stopped moving altogether. I took my knife and wiped the blood off on his ragged clothing before putting it back in the sheath and heading out the way I came in. I went a few blocks down before getting off the rooftops and found a carriage company to do a one-time delivery.

I jumped onto the carriage, rode with them back to the warehouse, and promptly undid enough enchantments. "I will load it," I told the coachman. "Please wait here and don't get off, or if you don't go too far. There are enchantments in this warehouse," I departed and entered the warehouse, walked over to the cells, and opened it up for the woman I purchased.

"Follow me," I told her, "You will not say anything till I say so," I ordered a second later, and the young woman followed me just a couple of steps behind. I quickly grabbed a sack and began to stuff a couple of things into the sack as I reached the warehouse. They were creams and aphrodisiacs that were perishable. I didn't have a renter, and these were mine, so I saw no reason to leave them behind. Without the young Jackie that I trained wanting the warehouse, I would leave it so only Cassandra could use the warehouse if she needed it.

I moved quickly and quickly filled the sack before heaving it over my shoulder and then going to where I left Melony in a box. I could hear her soft breathing, albeit only by straining my ears, and that would have to be enough. I picked up the box in the other arm and began carrying the objects to the door. I looked at the door for a moment and had to set down the box and slowly push it through before picking it up.

The entire thing became annoying because of the size of the things instead of the weight. After twenty minutes, I pushed the box out of the main door and brought it over to the carriage. The slave behind me continued to remain silent, and the coachmen looked at her with lecherous eyes.

"Wow," He said, licking his lips, and I shook my head.

"This slave is not for sale as of this moment," I told him flatly, and he nodded but continued to look as I put the box down in the carriage along with the sack and tied everything down. "To the tailoring store, I told you about before. Speed is not of the essence as I prefer my things to remain undamaged," I told him, and the coachmen nodded in understanding.

With that, we were on the way down the streets, and I watched out for people watching us. It didn't take long for us to pass the usual spot, and my instincts ran crazy momentarily, and I became even more vigilant as the Coachmen rode through the streets. I hated the slow speed of the cart that I purchased as I sat in the back while my slave was quiet across from me. I watched the streets and buildings as they passed, and when we turned onto our street, I felt relief as my paranoia started to calm down.

Still, something felt off, and I looked around as we slowly rode up the streets. Then I saw a face on a rooftop before disappearing, and my eyes narrowed. My paranoia shot up to new heights as the carriage came to a stop. "We are here," The coachman said, looking at my slave with lecherous eyes. "By the way, ma'am, do you train slaves?" He asked.

I got up slowly and took the box and picked up the box, and turned to my slave. "Get up and off the cart," I told her and picked up the sack before jumping off the cart. The coachman didn't look happy with my ignoring him, and he looked at my slave with lecherous eyes again. I walked over to the tailoring shop.

"Hey!" The coachman said, and I put down the box as my instincts screamed at me.

"What?" I asked as I put down my things.

"You haven't paid me yet," He notified me, and my eyes narrowed as I paid in the shop like I was supposed to; instead of arguing though, I grabbed some copper coins with a silver coin and walked over.

That was when things started to get spicy as I stepped away from the shop and some rough-looking men showed their faces on the rooftops. They looked down at my slave but not really at me, and I couldn't help but sigh in relief internally. Someone seemed to take a liking to my slave and sent these morons without thought. "I have an idea; pay me with that little slave of yours behind you," He said, his lecherous smile brightening with yellow teeth, and he pulled out a knife.

Others on the street started to filter into their houses while I looked at the moron coachmen in front of me. Instead, I tossed the coins at him, my expression stone. "Take your fucking coins and fuck off. Try anything, and you will all die," I told them and tipped my head to the store, "The Marchioness protects me."

The coachmen and the guys on the rooftops looked a little soberer with that, and the lecherous smiles turned to frowns. I decided that doing this bloodlessly at this moment was for the best and continued, "Are you wanting to steal Noble's slave?" I asked.

This made their expressions drop further, and the coachman got up and began to pick up the coins I tossed at him earlier as the horse dropped a load of shit on the road. The smell as he picked up a coin just behind the horse was one that made me smile a little, and he got up on the carriage and started to head down the road. As he left, the others turned and jumped off the roof, looking annoyed that they came for nothing.

With that, they all left, and I turned to my slave and pointed towards the door, and I wondered why I felt a threat from them. Maybe there was a guard nearby guiding this?

I didn't know, but I grabbed the box and brought it inside before I went inside the shop. I found only one woman was currently shopping, with Zee taking care of it under Stacy's lecherous eyes. I looked at the pervert and wanted to shake my head hard. That woman was a bonafide woman pervert, and no one was safe from her. If this were my previous world, she would never have survived. In this world, she met me, fell under my hand, and will forever remain under my guidance.

"Stacy," I said, taking her attention, and Stacy turned to me excited in her gaze till she met the new slave. "Train this slave; I don't care what as long as she is useful to Zee. Understood?"

Stacy looked at the young woman and nodded, "Mistress, please let me order her around?" Stacy asked.

"You will listen to her words as if they are my orders," I told her before walking away to the stairs, annoyed with what happened downstairs. I wondered if what just happened outside was a coincidence or planned. I was hoping for the former, but I couldn't rule anything out.

My mind was filled with suspicious thoughts and paranoia that was at an unhealthy level. My stomach growled, and I decided to eat before I thought more about it.
