CH 4 New Weapon and First Kill

After I chose 'yes' to open the mystery box, I hear a a noise..

*Ding*

Right after the noise went off, 3 small screens popped up in front of me...

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

*Mystery Box Item*

-Elemental Dagger(lightning)-

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

*Mystery Box Item*

-Map of the World-

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

*Mystery Box Item*

-Money(3 silver)

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Once I was done reading what I got, I went to my inventory to what these items where. First I clicked on the map..

It turns out that the map was blank and fills itself out automatically as I move around. It shows were I'm at.

When I was done reading about the map I closed the description and clicked on the money. And like the pop up notification said, there were three silver and the description said that I can only stack silver with silver. I can't stack all different kinds of coins together. Also I'm able to take money out of my inventory with just a thought.

Last but not least, I closed the description about the money and clicked on the dagger...

It showed me that it's 11 inches long and its a high rare grade dagger. And having this in my inventory gives me the ability to cover my body in lightning which doubles my speed at the cost of 10 MP. Which would give me 5 uses since I have 50 MP at the moment.

The dagger also has a passive ability were it has a 50% chance to stuns the opponent when stabbed or cut, for 2 seconds.

After Adam got done reading about the dagger, he was really excited because the dagger had cool abilities. And also the system told him that he is also able to extract the lightning ability from the dagger and integrate it with his body.

The only problem about extracting abilities from weapons, is the cost, which depends on the grade of the weapon. That higher the grade the more expensive.

After I seen this I asked the system...

Adam- "Can you explain to me what it means by grade and how that works?"

[Yes. So weapons, armor, potions, animal parts, plants, and crystals all have a grade depending on how strong they are. For stuff like weapons and armor, the grade is affected by the materials used to make it, the abilities on them, and there condition. Potions are graded on their effectiveness to do what they were created to do. Animal parts are graded on the type of part and the condition said part is in. Plants are graded on there usefulness and rarity. And lastly crystals are graded on the amount of magic in them. There are 5 grades and each grade has 3 levels; low, mid, and high. It would look something like this, starting from weak and going to strong: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Myth.]

'Ok I think I understand.'

As Adam was think he suddenly heard a growl behind him which awoke him from his thought and made him go stiff.

As he was standing there frozen, his mind was going crazy about what's behind him and what's he going to do.

After a couple a seconds he calms down a little and asks the system what to do...

[Host is advised to fight. Currently behind host is a level 10 Giant Wolf. We seem to be in its territory. Although it is 10 levels higher than you, it's severally ijured from a fight it just got done with. That is probably what the howl was when we first arrived. So best course of action is to take out the Elemental Dagger and fight. With the speed it gives you and the injuries that the Giant Wolf have sustained, you have a 99% chance of winning the fight.]

After I the system responded to me only about a second pasted.

'All though I was scared, I'm not as much anymore knowing my chances of winning the fight."

After I got my thoughts together, I turned around and was surprised. Although the system told me it was a giant wolf I didn't think it would be this big. It was around 2 meters tall with blood all over it's body.

Even though it was all bloody, it didn't really affect me that much and I got over it really quick.

After a few seconds of looking at it, I took out my dagger stealed my nerves. I activated the speed ability and run to the wolf and appeared next to it head in an instant. I swung my dagger as hard and fast as I could at it neck.

The blade went in so easy, it kind of shocked me a little. As I can see that it still wasn't dead, I stabbed two more time and as soon as I took my dagger out, I heard a ding noise. A second after the first ding, 5 more sounded.

I looked at the blue little screens that popped up. One said...

*Giant Wolf Killed*

The other five said...

*Host Leveled Up*

I earned five levels from one monster which made me excited. I mean who wouldn't want to gain 5 levels from doing really no work.

After I was done looking at the notifications I went to my stats to see how much my stats went up.
