CHAPTER XVI: SLEEPING WITH HIM
Kaiden went upstairs and go straight to his parents room and knocked, "Come in" His dad said.
"Good evening dad" He replied.
"Good evening what brings you here?" His dad asked.
"My feet of course" Kaiden sarcastically replied.
When he saw his dad narrowing his eyes he apologized.
"I have something to discuss with you" He sighed.
"About what?" He questioned.
"About Mr. Rilley's daughter Hannah" Kaiden added.
"Yeah, I remember her, what about her?" His father asked.
"Well, she's kind of getting into my nerves" He answered.
"What did she do?" His father asked.
"Well you do know who Dwayne is right? He is the one i always tell you" He started and his dad nod.
"Hannah, hurt him yesterday that causes him to feel afraid when stepping inside my office alone" Kaiden continued.
"And then? What do you want to do?" His father asked.
"Can you call her dad and tell him to stop his daughter, if she continue to piss me off i don't know what will going to happen to her" Kaiden answered.
"Yeah i can do that but i can't control them kaiden, listen son, you need to redeem yourself and don't let you emotions lead you" His father advised.
"Protect him, like how you protect our family especially your sisters." His father added.
"Yeah, I got it Pa, come on, let's go downstairs. I think Mom already done cooking" Kaiden said and help his father to stand up.
The both walk down the stair and when to the dining area, but he couldn't see Ari and Dwayne's shadow.
"Mom, where is Dwayne?" He asked to his mother.
"Well i think they're still at Ari's room, go call them, the food is ready" She commanded and nod his head.
He went back upstairs and go to Ari's room. He opened the door without knocking and he saw both of them are playing chess.
"Come on, we need to go downstairs, the food is ready" Kaiden announced.
They both cleaned the mess and stand up. They went to the dinning area and the food is already served.
"Good evening Auntie, Sir" He greeted to kaiden's parents.
"Well mannered huh, Why didn't you have this kind of manners kaiden?" His father looked at him and he just rolled his eyes.
He looked back at Dwayne, " Anyways, just call me uncle no need to be so formal" He added.
Kaiden pull a chair for Dwayne to seat on.
"Thank you" Dwayne said, kaiden pull another chair beside him.
"So, you're the new secretary of my son" His father announced.
"Yes, Sir I mean uncle" Dwayne answered.
"How is he being your boss?" His father asked.
"He is good to me but he always scolding me before" Dwayne said.
"Scolding you? Why?" He questioned.
"I always going to his desk and not using the telephone on my desk" Dwayne responded that kaiden's father laugh.
"Stop talking Leonardo and eat up" His mother said with an authority and his father followed.
The dinner was filled with questions and laughing. Dwayne felt comfortable being at kaiden's house. His family is very welcoming person. He remembered his family he misses them.
When they finished eating Dwayne helped the maid to clean the table.
"Let the maids do that Dwayne" Kaiden said.
He looked at him, "I'm used to clean the table when I'm done eating please let me, they will wash the dishes" He stated.
"Okay, but don't wash the dishes" Kaiden said. He went to the living room and sat to the sofa.
After a couple of minutes he saw Dwayne walking towards his direction.
"Where would i sleep tonight?" Dwayne asked when he reached his location.
"Well i think, we still have a vacant guest room upstairs" Kaiden said.
"Oh, Kaiden let him sleep with you, the guestroom upstairs isn't vacant for now" His mother stated.
Kaiden sighed, "You will be sleeping with me tonight" He said.
"Let's go, it's kind of late, Ari go to your room and sleep" Kaiden commanded to his sister.
"Yes, brother" She replied and marching to her room.
They both followed and Kaiden lead the way to his room, he opened the door and stepped in. Kaiden locked the door, Dwayne look around, he saw a picture on the side table.
"Is this you?" He asked staring to the picture.
"Yeah it is me, they captured that photo when I was in my middle school" Kaiden replied, untying his tie.
"Uhm...Do you have a pajamas that i can wear?" Dwayne shyly asked.
"Why?" Kaiden asked back.
"I want to take a bath before going to bed and I'm not comfortable wearing this kind of dress when i am sleeping" Dwayne explained and Kaiden nodded.
"Wait here I'll find something" Kaiden said and went to his walk-in closet.
Kaiden saw a pajamas and take it out.
"Here, it's the smallest that i can find in my closet" Kaiden give the pajama to Dwayne. He gladly accepted it and he smile to kaiden.
"The bathroom is there" Kaiden pointed the door on the right side.
"Okay, thank you" Dwayne replied before marching to the bathroom.
Dwayne step in it and start to wash himself. When he was done he realized that he hasn't bring a towel. He peek to the door and saw Kaiden sitting in the bed, typing on his laptop.
"Uhmm.. Kaiden can you get me a towel?" He asked, Kaiden stand up and went to the towel rack. Kaiden stepped to his direction.
"Here" Kaiden gave him the towel and he thanked him and smile.
He closed the door and wipe his wet body, he stepped out to the bathroom and go to the bed.
"Where am I going to sleep?" He questioned.
"You can sleep here on the bed" Kaiden said like it is normal thing to do.
"Where are you going to sleep then? He asked confused, honestly he wanted to sleep beside Kaiden like in the library.
"Here, beside you" Kaiden looked at him and smirk.
Dwayne laid to the bed and turned his back to kaiden. He need to hide his blush or else Kaiden will definitely tease him.
"Good night" Kaiden said and comb his hair.
"Good night" He replied without even taking a glance to Kaiden.
Kaiden continue to type on his laptop, not until he heard a little snore, he looked at it and saw Dwayne sleeping, he put aside the laptop and stare to Dwayne's sleeping face.
"You look like an angel sleeping" He said then smile. I guess I do really like him. Kaiden admitted to his self.
He keep on staring on Dwayne face and he felt sleepy, he yawned and decided to take a sleep.
