Chapter :-12 Kiyohime (Part-1)

"Very well sir since you have all the documents required to prove your legitimacy, you may proceed. Please do remember that if you are interested in trade then the management is the best place."

After saying so the captain turned towards the guards and beckoned them to leave the ship and check the next one.

"Move to the next one....!!!!"

"Aye captain....!!!!"

Henrik looked at the residing figures of the guards and gestured for a mate to come near him.

"Get me a horse carriage with 2-horses of the best quality....." He put a pouch filled with gold in the mate's hand, indicating that he wanted the best quality carriage and horses available here.

Henrik didn't worry about the coins being stolen, after all, he had already compelled the crew members to follow his orders.

"As you wish my lord....."

The mate bowed towards Henrik and turned around to exit the ship. He put the pouch inside his shirt and walked towards the nearest stable to buy the horses.

Henrik turned his head towards the crowded path, people had covered the way as the stalls had been set up at the sides of the way out.

Henrik thought of collecting some herbs and ingredients for an emergency. If he was required to cast a tricky spell then he would have all the things required to cast it.

He would also use this chance to save all the properties of these herbs so that he could reproduce its properties and cast spells even in the absence of the ingredients.

"I will be going to trade some ingredients when the carriage arrives load my belonging inside it."

Henrik ordered the crew to pack up his things while he traded stuff but he didn't mention the coffins. He would never let anyone near it, in any case, call him paranoid but he wouldn't take any chances.

Only he himself would be allowed to touch those coffins.

"Aye...we will do as you command."

After hearing the words of the captain of the ship, he left to check out the stalls. Maybe he found find something interesting like a map or some secret.

Moving through the crowd he neared the first stall. Just as he walked forward, he sensed a presence closing on him...rather focusing on the pouch attached to his cloak near the waist.

It was another pouch filled with gold, during this period it was the best and most straight forward currency used for all kinds of business. Gold would get the job done.

Henrik frowned before pointing his left-hand finger towards the ground beneath him. The sneaky hand which was about to grab his pouch suddenly froze mid-air.

Henrik closed his finger and did a twisting motion as the hand suddenly twisted and got dislocated. The owner of the hand was a petty thief who opened his mouth to scream yet no sound came out.

Henrik released his magic-hold over the hand and proceeded to check out the items on display. All kinds of things were placed in front of him yet not a single herb and map could be seen there.

After searching through some more stalls he eventually came to the conclusion that items such as herbs, medicine, authentic documents, and valuable devices could only be bought or traded with the management of the port. A simple way to earn more profit as they would buy these items from the sellers at a cheaper price than which would they resell it.

He eventually reached the management counter.

"I would like to buy a map with detailed routes and marked places along with some silver ash and white powder."

"Very well sir please fill this for—....."

"You will bring me the items I asked for and then forget about our meeting....."

"Please wait a minute sir, I will be with the things you asked for...."

Generally, for purchase from management, a form is needed to be filled. They would ask about your general information also register the purchase to keep track of every item.

But Henrik couldn't allow this to happen. He didn't want anyone to know even his name, he didn't want to leave behind any traces of his presence as he didn't want any harm to befall his family, at least not when all of them were asleep.

So to achieve his goal, Henrik compelled the worker into doing his bidding. He didn't want to spill any unnecessary blood as it would attract unwanted attention so he made sure to compel them to forget about him.

After 15 minutes of waiting, the attendant finally returned with the items which Henrik kept inside his cloak and walking back towards the ship.

After arriving at the dockside, he could see a carriage along with two horses waiting near the ship. Henrik immediately headed towards the [Study] and lifted the coffins using his inhuman strength and put them inside the carriage along with his items.

The coffins were [Witch-craft] proof so he couldn't use magic to lift them up and place them inside the carriage.

Henrik climbed over at the driver seat and commanded the horse to move forward, the carriage was white in color and had beautiful carving all over it.

The horses were brown and dark brown in color with the former being the female and the latter one male. Both of them seemed to be bustling with energy and life, it was obvious that these horses were of the best quality found here.

The carriage moved forward with moderate speed while people started opening a pathway for him to pass through. The crew which had bought Henrik here on the European continent turned in different directions and started walking aimlessly.

[Meanwhile]

"This feeling is getting stronger and stronger as the distance between me and this 'thing' is shortening. I should probably check it out though if it is too troublesome then I would leave it as it is after all ᒥ....Family above all....ᒧ "

Henrik's deep ocean eyes gazed at the setting sun as the darkness slowly spread through the sky.
