Chapter :-33 Amaterasu Base Form

Inside a beautiful Shrine, a yellow-haired woman lay on the ground. Her eyes closed, a gaping hole in the chest and instead of a heart being there in her body, all that was left were severed artilleries.

Her priest-clothes were burned from here and there but overall it didn't diminish the beauty of this Hime (Princess). The emperor would surely be heartbroken after knowing that her daughter was murdered inside the very shrine which made her untouchable.

Her cold dead body was surrounded by three torches, a black ink drew a triangle connecting the three points. A white-haired man with ocean-blue eyes stood outside the triangle while a white-haired woman with red eyes stood beside him with a Black Grimoire in her hands.

"Phostos Meloda..... Phostos Meloda...."

Chants resounded throughout the inner-shrine as the fire burning inside the torches climbed down on the ground, towards the dead Priestess. The fire consumed her body as a yellow dot appeared levitating just a few inches above the dead body.

The Black Grimoire suddenly flew into the air as its pages started turning at a fast pace. A seal-mark appeared on the ground beneath the red dot and rapidly enlarged without showing any signs of stopping.

The mark covered the whole Inner Shrine within it as all the Divine-attributes were sealed while the intense glow around the yellow dot lessens to an acceptable level.

Henrik takes out a glass tube from his cloak before dropping it on the floor causing the blood inside it to spill out wrap around that red dot. he narrowed his eyes before thinking to himself.

ᒥ....All Gods have a thick layer of divine-protection which protects them from Mortal-harm, so I forbid its existence....ᒧ

ᒥ....If I can make her drop her guard then it will be game over....ᒧ

"Kiyohime, your presence is no longer required her so leave...."

"Very well master..."

Kiyohime rushed towards the exit and made her way towards Freya who was maintaining the barrier around the [Inner-Shrine].

Henrik watched the small dot expanding in size until it was large enough to contain a human inside itself. A woman with white-hair, wolf-ears, wolf-tail, wearing a red-yukata with a tiny red fish-scale over her head.

An oval-shaped red marking could be seen over her forehead. She was incredibly beautiful and cute with an average height of 5ft 8.

She was surrounded by a warm sphere as the light released from it lighted the whole shrine. Henrik didn't have any expression on his face even when standing in front of such a mesmerizing creature.

Her tomato, orb-like eyes looked towards Henrik before she averted her gaze towards the Priestess lying on the ground. Silently she raised her arm as the dead body converted into light particles and entered the red scale over her head.

"Why do attack my shrine?...."

Hearing her question, Henrik was still expressionless and didn't speak. Seeing that the sinner wasn't answering her, she decided to finish this matter by punishing him for his crime.

"For murdering my Priestess, you will be punished...."

An orb appeared near her as it burned with yellow fire and it started to increase in size. It became much bigger, like a huge sphere which was then hurdled towards Henrik at great speed.

Even though the firey sphere was closing in towards him. He showed no signs of movement. The sphere came dangerously close to him, about only a few inches away from him when a slight spark appeared on his right hand.

*Boom*

The sphere was suddenly divided from the middle and split into two half which exploded after passing by Henrik.

"[Force:-Lightning]....."

Henrik had used the power of [Force] to split the incoming projectile into two. White-energy covered his body as it grew stronger and stronger causing the area around his to crack.

Henrik raised his palm in the air before passing it on a pillar beside him. The temperature inside the whole shrine started to fall down to dangerous levels, the area around Amaterasu was still as warm as ever without any change what so ever.

ᒥ....Finally, I have waited for so many years for this day to come....ᒧ

ᒥ....It's time to go all out....ᒧ

"[Force:-Ice]....."

The surroundings started to rapidly freeze as glaciers and icebergs started forming inside the whole shrine. Seeing this the Sun Goddess squinted her eyes as the sphere surrounding her body started to expand and cover the area around her.

The whole inner shrine was destroyed in the previous battle causes a lot of pillars to crack and break but the structure was still holding on.

Henrik waved his raised hand in the air and thick ice-spikes launched towards the Sun Goddess from all sides. Seeing the incoming attacks, Amaterasu didn't even move as the spikes started melting as soon as they entered a yard distance from her.

Henrik seeing this increased the thickness of the projectile as they slowly started to push their way to her without evaporating. The spikes were indeed successful in pushing through by a bit but Amaterasu just stood by without moving while numerous tiny orbs formed all around her body.

Like a machine gun, the orbs shot forward, towards the incoming projectiles while some even closed in on Henrik. He made a clenching motion with his palm as the orbs froze mid-air. The area around Henrik was extremely cold thus it neutralized the incoming attacks.

Several huge orbs materialized around Amaterasu as she launched them towards Henrik. This time he raised his free hand and wrapped the huge orbs with his [Force]. The speed of the orbs decreased by they didn't step even so.

Veins bulged all around his left arm as he suppressed the powerful orbs within his [Force]. He clenched his left hand with great effort causing the orbs of decrease in size and burst inside the [Force].

Ice continued to cover the Inner-shrine and more and more spikes and glaciers kept of materializing. Three huge icebergs appeared above her head as Henrik brought his hand down with great momentum. The icebergs followed his hand command and started falling towards Amaterasu.

She raised her head to see the incoming ice-structure heading towards her and raised her palm towards it. This was the first time she moved since the battle started, a small orb formed within her palm covered in bright yellow flames.

The orb then burst forth with a powerful beam, the whole icebergs was pulverized along with the roof of the shrine before continuing towards the heavens.

"Such power!!!...as expected from a God."

"Freya-sama can master win against The Goddess of Sun and Universe?"

"It is hard to say! Even though I know about most of Henrik's powers, it doesn't mean I know everything about the nature of his power."

"The Black Grimoire is suppressing the Divinity of the Goddess while bringing down her Mana-reserve to the same level of that of a peak caster's."

"She also is on a disadvantage against Henrik as her Divine-armor is not protecting her, meaning that her physical powers are totally compromised."

"But even so just with her mastery over the Fire-element is enough of Henrik to go all out."

"But I also think that he will emerge victories as he has his 'Trump-card' with him and no matter how strong Amaterasu may be. After she has exhausted most of the mana, she will lose."

"Be careful Master....."

Henrik once again launched a barrage of glaciers and spikes towards her while she finally moved from her position and with a swung of her arm a huge ring made of yellow flame appeared around her body which rapidly expanded and burnt even thing in its way.

"Your ice-based attacks are ineffective against me...."

She spoke in a soft tone but was ignored by ever silent Henrik who just focused on freezing the whole place.

She raised her palms as many huge orbs appeared within them and launched towards Henrik who immediately dodged the incoming orbs which then exploded where he was standing.

The flames burnt everything around it and even melted the ground itself. Henrik kept dodging the incoming orbs of fire but eventually, he was surrounded by a bunch of them.

"You can't escape...."

ᒥ....Tsk....ᒧ

Henrik created a dense sphere made up of [Force] around himself, wrapping himself inside it to protect himself from the exploding orbs which smashed into the sphere of [Force] with huge strength.

*Boom*

The orbs exploded together causing a minor earthquake strong enough to shake the whole shrine while also the area beneath Henrik was decimated by such firepower.

Amaterasu knew that this wasn't enough to defeat Henrik. She didn't drop her guard even for a second as she continued to glare at the smokescreen covering him.

Soon the smoke cleared revealing an injured Henrik. Even with the power of [Force], he couldn't come out of the blast unscratched. Most of his [Force] was being diverted into freezing the inner-shrine while he used the other half to battle against the goddess.

Henrik left half was totally burned, the cloak along with cloth in that area had been burned away int he blasts. His head, arm and left upper part of the chest was bleeding profusely.

*Huff*

The burnt part rapidly healed as he starred at the Sun Goddess who had a slightly surprised look on her face. Seeing Henrik healing with such speed was something she didn't expect to happen.

"You can't be human! Who are you?.."

Henrik still didn't reply to her as his injuries disappeared and his body recovered completely. Seeing that Henrik still wasn't going to talk. Amaterasu sends a huge orb towards him in annoyance.

The muscles within Henrik's leg bulged out as he jumped high to avoid the blast. Using his [Force] to get a grip of the ceiling of the Shrine, he looked down towards the Sun-Goddess with his Ocean blue-eyes.

He once again gestures for ice to cover the whole Inner-shrine. During their fight, many broken pillars and frozen peaks were scattered all around the battlefield. After being repeatedly frozen by Henrik, their durability had increased a bit while Amaterasu destroyed more and more spikes.

Even though Amaterasu was a Goddess, a white-haired handsome man with ocean-blue eyes spooked her a bit. She was again tried to converse and surprisingly this time Henrik did answer back.

"Using Ice is meaningless, your attacks will never reach me..."

"Hurting you with those spikes and glaciers was never my intention...."

Black lightning danced around Henrik as Amaterasu senses the incoming danger, she immediately poured all of her energy to create a barrier around her as she released tremendous amounts of heat. The floor beneath her feet and the area around her started melting into the lava.

"NOTHING WILL STOP THE RETURN OF THE MIKAELSONS....."

"UNLIMITED POWERRRR....."

"[Force:-Emperor Palpatine's Lightning]....."

Tremendous amounts of Black lightning burst forth Henrik's body causing the ceiling the crack. The black lightning traveled with incredible speed and reached the pointed portion of the broken pillars and frozen peaks.

At the tips did the black lightning concentrated before blasting towards Amaterasu from all directions. The sheer strength of behind the attack caused the whole Inner-shrine to crack and partial break down.

Amaterasu poured all of her power within the sphere around her all a pool of lava appeared beneath her feet. She was forcing the immense power of the black lightning away from her.

Bit by bit, slowly but surely she was forcing it backward.

"HAAAAA...."

But while doing so she forgot the one thing that she was supposed to be mindful of. Not to drop her Yukat...*Cough* *Cough* I mean her guard.

"[Zetsu]...."

Henrik erased his presence to avoid Amaterasu sensing his presence through her wolf-ears and wolf-like institution.

"[Apparition].....

Henrik teleported behind Amaterasu without a sound or even a wisp of [Force] around him. He also cast a basic [Cloaking-spell] to cover himself and be undetected by her.

He stretched his right hand back before thrusting it forward near her back, towards her heart or rather divine-core to mortally wound.

As soon as there was no more than a few centimeters distance between her back and his palm his covered his palm with all the [Force] he could muster and pierced her back.

"[Force:- Kakashi's Kamui Lightning]..."

"Arghh...."

As soon as he pierced her back, divine blood flowed over his hands causing a faint mark to appear on the back of his right palm while a faint " 寸 " to appear on the purple crystal of his pendant.

Due to the sudden attack on her divine-core, Amaterasu couldn't keep up the sphere around her and the barrier broke. Now that the obstruction was gone, the black lightning immediately assaulted both of them from all directions.

"[Apparition]...."

Once again Henrik teleported away from her as the black lightning drowned the Goddess of Sun and Universe.

*Boom*

Dust and destruction covered the whole place as the structure of the Inner-shrine made some cracking noises and once again partial collapsed.

Henrik stumbled backward from exhaustion and fatigue. His Magic-powers were still far from achieving the status of recovery, now for this mission, he had already used his magic a lot. This puts a lot of pressure on his body.

But when up against a Goddess as strong as Amaterasu he had to go all out.

"I can't believe she is so strong even after being suppressed by the Black Grimoire, truly a divine being...."

"ROOAAARRR....."

A loud roar shook the whole place, attracting Henrik's attention.

ᒥ....She recovered faster than I expected....ᒧ

ᒥ....Guess it is time for round two....ᒧ

The sound wave of the roar blasted away the smoke around the place revealing a huge White-wolf with red markings all over its body and a small sun resting on its back.

"Here we go again...."
