Henrik, Freya and Rebekah appeared inside the Mikaelson mansion, in the dining hall. Freya clapped her hands once as the doors leading outside the hall suddenly opened and maids filled in the room carrying different plates in their hands and neatly placed in on the dining table.
Even after spending nearly a millennium living in Japan, Freya stilled fancied the English way of eating more than the Japanese way. Henrik didn't really mind the Japanese way of eating but due to his English origin, he preferred the English way of eating.
After setting the plates on the table they revealed the heavenly dishes made by the chefs hired from India and England; exited the room without a noise leaving the siblings alone to catch up.
Henrik walked towards Rebekah and showed her the purple-pendant he designed for his siblings and told her about the power sealed within it.
"Rebekah, after seeing my memories you would already know what this pendant is and what terrible power it contains, I had sealed the Shinto God of Storm and Waves inside this pendant alone with Fujin, the True God of Wind."
Saying so he pulled out a sword from her pendant and placed it within her palms, a bluish glow covered her right hand as a mark appeared over the back of her palm, the kanji word '風', meaning 'wind' appeared over the mark of a storm.
"This sword belongs to you now, its name is-"
"Kusanagi….."
"Looks like the bond have already established between you and Fujin, Susanoo is too prideful to give in but soon you will have full control over his power as well. You were fantastic at fencing as I remember so giving you this weapon is the right choice."
"It gives you the power to passively command wind at the highest level within Japan also since you are the master of Susanoo, you also gain [Greater Divinity] and the ability to create and control electricity at a certain level."
Rebekah thanked Henrik for his gift before wearing the pendant over her neck, the sword entered the pendant as Rebekah focused on talking with his little brother.
"I am very sorry Henrik! When you passed away we didn't have any knowledge or capabilities to even confirm that you achieved peace. After Niklaus killed our Mother, we all escaped, Father hunted us to the ends of the world, we became so caught up in ourselves that we abandoned the thought that maybe you didn't achieve peace."
"According to want we learned over the years, once a human died they would achieve peace and rest forever whereas supernatural beings would be trapped on the other-side after death. You were mauled to death by those wolves and died as a human, so how are you alive?"
Rebekah was very happy with her brother returning from the dead but she still couldn't understand how? The memories she received only told so much, that she could be sure of the fact that it was indeed her brother standing in front of her, not some spirit.
Henrik sat down on a chair and let out a sigh before answering his sister's curiosity.
"Right at the moment when even the last spec of life was about to leave my body, I suddenly found that my magic had awakened on its own, making me a supernatural being but instead of being sent to the Other-side, I was imprisoned inside a magical prison, a dimension similar to the one used to seal the heretics."
"But unlike theirs, my prison was special…. it strengthened my soul to unachievable levels whereas my magic continued to grow stronger and stronger and stronger until one day…..I broke free."
"While within the prison world, the sky would become a limitless T.V with only one channel available, forcing me to watch you all making mistakes and stabbing each other in the back, making enemies left and right while enjoying few tender moments."
"At first I hated it, seeing you all free and without a leash, on your necks but after a few centuries I came to terms with my situation and directed my hate and anger towards the one who made all our lives miserable, the spirits."
"I broke through the prison world and used a powerful spell to hide from the spirits, I continued to watch and intervene whenever I could. When Inadu tried to take over Hope, I used the Esther-bloodline as a medium and descended on her body. After that I destroyed Inadu from inside out and absorbed her power, I did the same with Qetsiyah, Mother, Aunt Dahlia, Silas and Markos. I gained their knowledge and created a new spell to escape from the world to a new one."
"I waited for a long time and allowed you all to have a happy life, I let you spend a life with Gerard and collected your soul after you died, I did the same with Freya and my other two brothers, Kol left the family for Davina while Finn died before I escaped from the prison and I couldn't find his soul."
"The spirits were informed about my existence but it was already too late for them to intervene, I was stronger and performed the spell but before I could escape together with you all, the spirits placed different seals on your coffins so that you couldn't be awaken from your slumber."
"It took time but I successfully undid Freya's seal and freed after and now you too are free, soon our other siblings would also be unsealed and we will be a happy family for the eternity to come."
Hearing his words there was silence in the room before Henrik dissolved the heavy atmosphere by urging his sisters to start eating before the food went cold. Henrik and Rebekah's glass was filled with blood whereas Freya drank wine, he could see Rebekah struggling with her glass but kept quiet so did Freya, after spending a lifetime as a human she felt a little uncomfortable with drinking blood even though she did so for many centuries.
Henrik knew that Rebekah hated being a vampire and wanted to be a normal girl but he still reincarnated her as an Original vampire due to the fact that....he didn't care about what she wanted. Being an immortal vampire who was unkillable, was Henrik's way of ensuring that nothing would hurt his sister, he had spent a large amount of time allowing his siblings to live a nice life and now it was time he became a little selfish.
He deserved a family.
And he was far from afraid of being indifferent.
He would get the happiness he deserved or he would snatch it himself.
But before that, he needed to quench this intense hungry he had been suppressing all this time.
