February 5th 1942, it's been two months since Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and United States joined war, the newly constructed naval command just outside the city of Rockside hase been completed 2 days ago and Zeol was invited today for the discussion related to to the procurement of new destroyers, the US Navy has ordered the construction of 50 destroyers to all shipyards throughout the US, and Zeol was lucky enough to to win the contract for 15 destroyers a month ago.

Zeol also started moving his business to Kandor, it was a perfect time for him as Kandor had become the largest exporter of natural resources and rare earth minerals to the United State.

Zeol had also started collecting all kryptonite that came to earth in the form of meteor showers and the Kryptonian scientists were also a step closer to making a small gate to fantom zone through the use of all krytonite gathered, the shifting of business to Kandor also brought a large amount of population growth to the Kandor island increasing it's population of 1000 to 20,000 in just a year.

Zeol had to postpone his plans for the trip to Europe till US makes it's base their thus he had to return to Kandor without the aggressor but he didn't returned empty handed, Zeol had bought 2000 miles of open sea from Kandor as it's radius making it a part of Kandor territorial waters, it provided him with land recreation and expansion without constantly being pressure by the International Government's.

The Kandor military department (which only consisted of Kryptonians) also found other alien species that came to earth now and then and the most frequent ones were from Mars, also known as Martian Hunters with abilities such as

Making them the toughest enemy that the Kryptonians ever faced but the downside of Martian Hunters were their low birth rate, less population and their weekness to fire, but what made them the toughest opponents for Kryptonians were not their superpowers but their shape-shifting abilities that allowed them to easily infiltrate any locations.

The Kandor military were able to capture two Martian Hunters a male and a female and they were kept inside the volcano in a make shift prison near geothermal generators.

While Zeol was making plans with his military department to figure out how to fight with Martians, their was a meeting going on in United State on how to stop youngsters from going to Kandor, if Kandor will pose a threat to them in future and on how to protect their economy from recession after the complete transfer of Techno Company to Kandor and what kind of opportunity will it bring to them, the meeting was hosted by small and large consortiums whose profits were affected by Zeol's business, their were many high influential people attending this close door meeting such as President Roosevelt, Heads of Morgan and Rockefeller families etc.

The meeting was organized to make a decision on whether to retaliate against Kandor or not, whether it was founded from where did Kandor gets cheap material's to export and if the shifting of major companies to Kandor will affect United States in war on European continent.
