Keeping calm

Lia slowly yet quietly followed her brother downstairs with a scared look on her face.

She did not like her father, yet she loved him with all of her heart. Say for instance you spot a stray dog and it bites you with all it's might, and yet you still take it care for it. That's how she felt. Lia took a big gulp as she walked down the stairs into her rustic style kitchen. Clutching her nightgown in one hand and pushing up her glasses in the other. Her brother, with a happy grin and a positive attitude said "hello father!" As he walked over towards the fridge pulling out a container containing Lia's lunch.

He gave Lia her lunch and then grabbed his and shoved it in his lunchbox. Then he went over towards the table were a fresh batch of pancakes for his sister and himself was waiting. He than placed 2 pancakes each for him and Lia. On Lias hand she was almost scared for her life ! In her head she was thinking as if her father had the heart so cruel and dark enough to poison her! She slowly took a fork from the cabinet then walked over towards the table where her father and her brother where waiting for her. She then took the fork and scooped up some of the eggs her father had already placed on the plates , into her mouth and chewed. After breakfast she got dressed and shoved her lunchbox containing her lunch and beverage , into her backpack where her English and chemistry book where. Then she put on her shoes and brushed her teeth, brushed her hair, washed her face , and checked her braces and went outside. She looked back to were she could see her brother finally walking out of the house. He was stuffing his backpack as he walked out. Lia let out a snicker "PFFT"

She was holding in her laugh. She went on the bus and saw her friend Stacy. Stacy was not the type to be surprised to see Lia sleek on the bus , this was because every time Lia went on a moving vehicle she would fall asleep. Lia sat down beside Stacy and fell back asleep. One of the only ways to keep Lia calm was to let her sleep. She was always panicky and tired at the same time. Stacy shook Lia signaling that they were at school.
