As Julian got up to leave the sauna, Myst quickly grabbed his wrist to keep him from leaving.
"Going after a single human isn't the wisest option that you have, Julian. You mustn't make a hasty decision because of your emotions. I wanted everything to kill all of them... but it was just in his favor." Myst would say, keeping her grip tight on his wrist.
"Any human who survived that led to the deaths of our own. They shouldn't be allowed to live." Julian would growl, keeping his stare away from the woman as he made another attempt to leave the sauna.
"Julian, it'll be daytime in a few hours and that's not enough time to get anywhere close to finding the human. Just drop it. Please." She'd say, pulling against him again.
At least that's what she planned to do before losing her grip on his sweat-covered skin and losing her footing, tumbling back onto the bench.
Julian would turn and look at her before taking a deep breath to attempt to calm his anger. Upon looking at Myst's body, he felt his cheeks begin to flush red before looking away.
It was definitely one way to calm one down. And also a way to excite one.
"F-fix your towel, Myst." Julian would stutter in embarrassment, keeping his gaze away from her.
Myst, having not initially noticed, would look down and see that her towel had come undone just enough that the upper portion of her body was revealed to the world. Well, in this case, to Julian.
"Why so embarrassed by my breasts, Julian?" Myst would ask with a mischievous smile playing at her lips, sitting there and watching the young vampire before her. She'd glance down as her smile deepened even further. "Does my chest excite you that much?"
"You did that on purpose, didn't you?" He'd ask, keeping his gaze away from her still. He knew he shouldn't have gone with her inside of the sauna but he had to hear what it was that had happened. And knowing what happened... how could he be getting excited by her at this point in time?
"Yes, Julian, because my entire aim was to trap you in a sauna and seduce you with my body while telling you about the deaths of two of our clan." Myst would say, sarcasm flowing from her mouth as she sat there. "From someone who is usually so stoic, you sure are showing plenty of emotion though."
"Stating that isn't making it any easier to calm down and focus on the issue at hand. Which being you almost died." Julian would say with a sigh.
"I'm a big girl, Julian, I can handle myself. You know that better than anyone." She'd say, rubbing the back of her head and sighing. "Just sit back down. If you let your mind run rampant with every detail in that skull of yours, the heat in her will be enough to make you delusional."
"You think that the heat will make me delusional?" Julian would ask with a raised eyebrow, which was aimed at no one in particular. Well, it would have been aimed at Myst if she wasn't naked.
"Well. Sit down then and prove me wrong." She'd say in a taunting tone.
Rolling his eyes, Julian had no choice but to comply with her since he was locked in there with her.
Taking a deep breath, Julian would return to where he sat and keep his gaze off of the woman. He would move his legs to where one was over the other as he took another breath.
"How did your hunt go?" Myst would ask, righting herself where she sat. Having grown up alongside Julian, she had grown rather comfortable being around him. Even if it was with the two of them alone in a room, naked.
Being with him gave her this odd, calming feeling.
Taking a deep breath, he would look at her with this almost sad look in his eyes. "Do you really want to know?" he'd ask with this haunted look in his eyes.
"I told you the events of my hunt. It's only fair that you tell me about yours." Myst would say as she leaned to the side, supporting her body on a single arm.
Julian would take a moment to recollect his thoughts before finally looking back to Myst, having finally gotten control of his reaction to seeing her mostly nude.
"I saw two kids... human kids. On the streets... they were dying of hunger and thirst. Kids who are supposed to be with families and in a warm home. But instead, they were on the street. My hunt was just a normal patrol which ended with us being with these kids... when they passed from hunger." Julian would say, trying to fight the grim image of what he had seen from flashing to the front of his vision.
In all of his life, Julian never thought he'd have to see such a sight with a human child. Yet he had. And every instinct inside of him didn't agree with the fact that he didn't have a part in it.
Myst's eyes would widen upon hearing about what he had told her. The information even hit a bit close to home for her. Taking a deep breath, she slowly sat up as she looked at Julian, seeing the internal conflict that was brewing within his eyes.
Myst would slowly stand up as the towel covering the rest of her body completely fell to the ground of the sauna before she made her way across the room and stopped just before him.
Looking up, Julian saw everything she had to offer. And it was definitely a lot for him to mentally process with everything that had just been spoken.
"Why were you keeping that held in?" She'd ask before leaning down, keeping to his level so she could look him straight in the eyes.
"Because... if I speak about the truth of the human world around the wrong people... it'll make them scared of the horrors they are truly capable of." Julian would say, locking his eyes with hers.
