Young Memories 3

Draven would look at the man and the woman, who held the girl. Who was quickly having a onset of frost bite. Taking a deep breath, he would begin to quell his rising anger.

"She was beginning to make a scene, what did you expect us to do? Treat her like royalty?" The man would speak, his fear growing more and more evident, the longer he spent around the man.

"You weren't supposed to nearly kill her. I expected you to treat her like a human. Not like trash, I don't pay you just so you can kill a little girl." Draven would growl as the footsteps of others suddenly became audible to the two humans.

Adding more to the fear that they were currently feeling. Where were these people coming from? The shadows themselves?

The humans couldn't discern the locations they were coming from. The only thing they could tell, was that they had messed up.

"W-we brought you someone! You never said the state they had to be in!" The woman would yell at the man, as cloaked figures began to surround them on all sides. With a aura of blood lust filling the cold winter air. Almost suffocating the two with it's presence alone.

"Even we wouldn't treat children this badly." Draven would say looking to the figures. Who just stared at him expectantly. Waiting for his order. His order for their deaths.

"Mistreatment of children is a sin, even among our people." The voice of a woman would ring out of one of the cloaked figures. The voice didn't really imamate from a single source. It more seemed to come from all around them, as if it were one with the wind. All of them hated the fact that this was done to the child. And it was something they were definitely not going to let the humans get away with. And not with their lives.

"She is a no body! And if you don't want her then we can just end her suffering and report you guys to the feds!" Tony would yell at him, at least attempting to show what little bravado he had left off.

Myst would be listening to all of this going on struggling to even get a single breath into her pained lungs. For the cold air burned like fire. A fire that burned her down to her core, and felt almost unstoppable. Uncontainable even. It was all it took to keep her child self conscious. Her body wanted her to try to survive, to beat the odds that were placed before her. But, deep down. She didn't want to survive. She had seen so many horrible things in her short life. Things that she should never have experienced in the first place.

"Look, if you keep say things like that Tony. I won't be able to guarantee anything for your safety. Or the safety of your lovely wife here. You see we are apart of a organization that is focused on truly helping people help. But that doesn't mean we won't hurt when necessary. And trust me. We are certainly trying not to turn you or your wife into unrecognizable puddles of blood for what you let happen to this girl. So if I were you Tony. I would shut up and listen." Draven would say in a low growl, staring the couple down. The woman hearing the animalistic growls in his voice. Was beginning to realize how badly they had fucked up.

"T-tony. You should listen to what the man is saying." She would say leaning against the cold metal door that they were basically being pinned against. It wasn't everyday humans came into such long conflict with vampires. It was usually for a reason that mainly benefited the vampires. And solely the vampires.

In this instance, Draven and his crew had conscripted the help of the two humans before them. Solely because they couldn't go into the daylight if they didn't want to become just another meal from KFC. It was the entire reason they decided to get involved in this situation to begin with.

"We didn't do nothing wrong, and if this is how it is going to be then we can just go take the girl somewhere else." Tony would say gripping the ever weakening body of the girl by the throat. Starting to constrict the air flow that she had.

Draven seeing this, knew he needed to work fast if the girl even wanted the chance of surviving this night. Even more so if he wanted to save her. Taking a deep breath he looked to the others before raising a hand to them telling them to wait.

"Your right, you didn't do anything wrong at all. Forgive us for acting upon our moral high horses. We tend to forget that conscripting the help of those we don't really know we can't expect them to truly have our virtues. So we are going to pay you as promised, and we will make it double the agreed upon deal. Does that seem fair to you two?" Draven would say walking over to the two pulling out two stacks of cash, and holding it out before them.

Tony seeing his chance quickly dropped the girl, and took the money from the mans hands. Looking to his wife, he would grab her by the hand and nod slowly to Draven. "Nice doing business with you fella's hopefully we can do more in the future." He would speak having had his bravado sparked once more before rushing off with the girl.

Kneeling down before the girl, Draven would check her pulse feeling her weakening even more as the moments passed. Looking to the others, he would take a deep breath before, removing his jacket and wrapping the girl up in it. Giving her body a chance to warm up once more.

"What do you want us to do Draven? Just let them leave without repercussion?" The voice of one of the hooded vampires asked him as he opened the door into the warehouse.

Slowly turning he would look at them with a look of unbridled anger. A look he wasn't known for having. "Kill them and leave no traces of their existence." He would hiss his anger being almost too uncontrollable.
