Running through the yard of the Morave-Xeres manor. Maurice, Julian, and Myst Pushed themselves to run as far as they could with the very limited amount of time that they had. Before the sun rose.
It was something on all of their minds. The fear of being burned alive. They had always been told stories about what happened if a single ray of it touched the skin of a vampire. The amount of skin damage, and the amount of damage that would have also been done to a cellular level. Was something that they all feared. Even with the amount of power that all three of them combined wielded.
"Do we even have a direction of where they had gone?!" Myst would ask the others while running, quickly glancing to the direction of the sun that was still beginning its rise. She had a bad feeling about this entire day, and that was mainly due to the fact she felt like she was going to slow them down. With her weakness. She had already cost them so much time when it came to out racing the sun.
Now they had to race the sun while trying to accurately pin point where Boris had taken Aurella, with magic that only Maurice was capable of really using. For she was the only one who took time to truly master the magic of locating.
"From what I could gather with a quick casting of magic. They are to the south east of our current position, which could mean they haven't left the grounds yet because of the risk of the sunlight as well. But how far is something I can't answer while running. It would confuse the magic." Maurice would say looking to Julian and Myst. With a look of uncertainty on her face. Normally the direction alone was enough to suffice for Maurice to go on about her hunts. But with the frailty of the situation at hand. She couldn't go about this as if she were going for a hunt. She had to go about this in a tactical sense if she wanted to make sure that Aurella was unharmed.
"Well, there are only a handful of places close enough to the manor to get there and hide from the impending doom of the sunlight. But only one of them has enough space to actually hide out in for a few days. With some reinforcement in tow." Julian would say looking between the two vampires. "There is a cave system underneath our feat that apparently the Morave portion of the family stayed in while the manor was being built."
"That definitely would be a ideal hiding spot. Especially when it comes to hiding in plain sight. I just hope that Aurella is going to be fine though." Myst would say in a low tone.
"Hurting Aurella would bring forth the immediate downfall of his entire clan. Whether it is a gentle scratch, or a serious injury. Boris and his entire family will burn." Julian would say shifting his gaze to the rising sun. A worried look beginning to form across his face.
Julius would wonder back and forth within the Morave-Xeres manor looking at one of the many wall clocks. Counting the seconds quietly in his head, a sinking feeling forming within his gut. He hoped that they were able to outpace the sun in their efforts to find Aurella.
"Julius you need to trust in their ability if you are going to send them off to go hunt down a elite vampire." A thick British voice spoke out from behind him. "First things that I hear about when I get back from my hunt is that your youngest has been kidnapped and that you sent your oldest, the best tracker in the entire coven, and the adopted vampire after him. You must have something going through your head other than worry."
"What is currently going through my head Gaer, is the thought of whether or not that I should declare all out war on the god damned Morgan coven." Julius would all but spit out, the look of anger in his eyes unmistakable. It took a lot out of his as it was just trying to keep it at bay. And even more so to act on it.
"And how do we know that he is working on the actions of his family? He has been here for almost two years now. And as far as we are aware, he hasn't sent any letters or messages to his Coven. Whether that be through magical means or not. And if he did, we would certainly know. For we can detect the magic used within these walls." Gaer would say with a small yawn before rubbing the back of his head. "And I know that you are worried due to the impending sunlight. But you have to remember Julius. They go on hunts quite often, and they have yet to be caught in a situation that they couldn't handle."
The man was right, those kids were capable of pulling off some incredible hunts. Some that even he thought they would fail on, considering how impossible they seemed. But somehow those kids managed to do it on their own in separate groups. Now the three of them were working together, each with their own set of skills. And capabilities when it came to handling dire situations.
"I...Just wanted my little girl to be naïve to the way of the world for a while longer." Julius would admit in a low tone before looking up to Gaer. "I wanted her to be able to live with some peace for a while longer, and not have to worry about the darkness that the world carries within it."
"The fates must have something planned for you and our coven Julius. If someone so bold is willing to do something like this, then that means that times are changing. Whether you like it or not. It is time for all of us to truly face reality. No matter how dark it is seeming to be. That is just the way of the world we are living in." Gaer would say giving a confident smile to Julius. "Plus we got some new toys from your younger brother we get to test out."
