''Miss, I was unable to find any issue with him. If.. If you want a recommendation, I'll suggest taking him to the hospital in Vacuo. Whatever condition he has..'' a man, dressed in a doctors coat exclaimed gently as he observed the sleeping white haired child on the bed, before returning his gaze to Raye.
''It requires the finest doctors. I never seen his condition before.'' he gently continued before waiting for a response from Raye, but never got any. He merely said his sorrys before quietly taking his leave out.
The man walked down the stairs deep in thought, unsure if he should contants the doctors himself before a voice came out of the kitchen he walked past.
''You didn't find the issue?'' a old feminine voice said before Jade walked out and stood at the kitchen door frame, looking at the doctor.
Doctor merely shook his head and looked at Jade.
''I never seen something like this'' he said before recalling the room Jade showed him, ''There was no injury at all.. And seeing the room, there should have been one.'' the doctor grumbled light before taking a deep breath as he directly looked into the eyes of Jade.
''You don't have to worry about the favor about this, I recommend checking Lapis in the hospital of Vacuo. They are far more equipped to deal with this.'' he exclaimed before his gaze hardened as he kept looking at Jade.
''Same goes for you, Ja-'' ''Enough'' Jade quietly said, but her voice vibrated the room as her own gaze turned cold. ''Thank you for your time, Chro.''
Chro let out a sigh as he ran his fingers in frustration over his head. ''Fine, be that way Jade''
he let out before exiting the orphanage, stopping at the doorway and looking over his shoulder at Jade. ''If anything more happens to the child, call me.'' before leaving 'and you too..' he quietly mumbled under his breath.
Closing the door after him, she went to the nearby window and watched as he went further away.
Deep in thought, Jade merely closed her eyes and took a deep breath in frustration before heading to the second floor.

At the same time Chro and Jade talked, and while Raye were standing in the doorway absentmindedly watching Lapis in the bed.. Lapis himself were faking sleep.
'Damn it..' Lapis mumbled as he felt still little sore after the doctor taking tests on him.
Hesitantly opening the system window, Lapis kept observing everything, especially [Godkiller] skill whos existance made his mind throb.
'This is an issue' Lapis thought as he observed the system in its entirety, realising he made a giant flaw even since he awoke anew in this world.
Because Lapis knew what a system was, as a few races in the eternal hellhole had them, he didn't question its existance all too much.
But after that ordeal, he overshadowed his past experience into this world, as far as he knows. This world doesn't have a system, it was already extremely rare in his former life.
But to make matters worse.. this system he has, is capable to hurting him.
That made every alarm bell in his mind scream at him, as the systems he knew didn't have that capability.
Faced with an unknown system in a unknown world, Lapis suddenly felt.. worried.
The description of the [Godkiller] skill amplified this worry to a overwhelming proportion.
Lapis hated it.
It's as if he was dealing with the Weave once more.
An sense of worry that came from a simple reason..
The fear of the unknown, especially one that capable of dealing harm to him, and unable of fighting back.
'Shit..' Lapis grumbled as he opened his eyes, and the moment he did so, Raye was already on her way to his side.
Using the chair by the beds side, Raye sat down as she gently rubbed Lapis tiny hands.
''Hey there..'' she gently let out before starting to scan over Lapis, worry oozing out of her eyes.
As he was still unable to speak, and feeling the worry coming from her, he just relaxed in the bed while enjoying the care Raye gave him at this moment.
'This feeling.. what is it..' Lapis thought as he felt something from Raye, a emotion he can't completely recall.
His thoughts got interrupted as the door opened up as Jade walked through.
''How is he?'' she asked Raye, who shrugged lightly.
''He seem fine.. but..'' Raye quietly said as she kept caressing Lapis hand.
''Hm..'' Jade let out as she glaced towards Lapis, before looking around the room before back to Raye. ''Where is Lilu?''
''Uhm.. I don't know, I haven't seen her since the doctor came.'' Raye said as she looked at Jade.
'Hm..' Jade thought as various of thoughts went through her mind, before she turned and started leaving saying ''I'll go and check up on Lilu'' quickly, not giving Raye a chance to respond.
Letting out a sad sigh, Raye stayed by Lapis side, worried that he will lapse into.. whatever happened.. again.

A week passed just like that, during this time I was forced to remain in the bed while Raye tended to me.
It was like at this moment Raye was like a mother hawk, and she stopped each my attempts to leave the room, she came with food and always fed me.. Most embarrassing thing?
Reading children stories to me as night loomed over the orphanage.
During this time I rarely met only a few people, with Raye being the motherhawk she was, she didn't let many enter as I needed rest.
Jade visited sometimes, only to speak to Raye. As Raye spent majority of her time with me, Jade had to tend to the other children, so I didn't mind it.
Annoyingly, the goblin trio visited me sometimes.. but they were.. nice.. this time around.
I could feel their worry was geniune, so I couldn't help but to smile abit when they visited.
Only wish they didn't read children story to me, it took too much brainpower to understand coherently how the stories went.
Crim never visited, no shocker. I did see him walk past the doorway a few times when the door was open.. but each time he had that look of enjoyment when he looked towards me.
Lilu however..
Never visited. I don't know why, I wanted to speak.. Ask Raye why she had not visited.
I felt a tinge of sorrow from it, but it quickly vanished when I realised why.
'She is blaming herself, isn't she?' an frowning Lapis thought to himself.
Glancing towards Raye who is sitting at the table nearby reading a book, Lapis wanted to visit Lilu himself, but knew Raye would stop him within a second.
'Dammit..' Lapis grumbled before looking at the ceiling.

Night approached as Lapis stopped his meditation and tensed up as he heard the system alert, ignoring it he turned his head at Raye, who were currently sleeping soundly.
'Right..' he mumbled as glanced towards the door, noting that the door wasn't completely closed, he quietly left the bed, walking over to the door and exited the room in silence.
Using the hallways walls as support whenever he felt his legs tremble, he eventually got to the Lilus door before noticing it was closed, and he was unable to reach it.
'Shit..' he mumbled as he facepalmed himself, before looking around to find anything that he could stand on.
''What are you doing up, Lapis?'' a quiet voice broke the silence in hallway making Lapis freeze before turning and seeing Jade looking at him with a light smile.
'I didn't even sense her..' Lapis thought as he kept looking her, noticing the dancing amusement in her eyes.
The old woman and the young child kept staring at each other, one in amusement other in confusion.
Deciding to bite the bullet, Lapis pointed at Lilus door.
''Hm?'' Jade let out as she glanced at the door before going back to Lapis.
''It's late, you know.. She is asleep, Lapis'' Jade said with a smile before noticing Lapis eyes twitching in annoying, her smile growing more.
'We both know she isn't asleep..' Lapis couldn't help but to mumble in his mind as his senses are catching faint sounds from behind the door.. the sound of paper being written and faint music. So she ain't asleep.
Pointing at the door again, waiting as his gaze never left Jades.
''Hm~'' Jade let out again, but this time her gaze slowly turning cold as she observed Lapis.
''What.. are.. you?'' she quietly let out, each word made her gaze colder, and each word caused the sudden pressure that enveloped Lapis to grow stronger.
Feeling as his whole body was being pushed to the ground, Lapis gritted his teeth and made his stance, he ignored that his legs are about giving out at any moment as he kept his gaze on Jade, feeling his senses screaming at him of danger.
The old woman and the young child kept staring at each other, former view no longer the same.
It was only after a few seconds that the pressure on Lapis vanished, and at the same time Jade walked to the door and opened it quietly.
Looking at Lapis one more time before leaving, no words spoken.
Lapis looked at Jades back as she left, suddenly unsure of his future.
'Hopefully she doesn't kick me out.. or worse' he thought as realised he just committed a blunder,
if anyone was watching Lapis at this moment would notice his eyes constantly shifting between his warm blue sapphire eyes he has been known for the past 6 months.. and frigid hollow gaze.
With thoughts in shambles, Lapis shook his head before entering Lilus room, gazing at an frustrated purple haired girl who kept scribbling on something.
Unknowing to Lapis himself, an smile crept up on him as he watched her, the warmth of his eyes returning once more.

Jade walked down the stairs to the first floor before leaning against the wall, the sounds of heavy breathing echoing the living room.
'..What is he..' Jade thought as she took deep breaths, ignoring the cold sweat on her back, she glanced back up the staircase in worry before going to her room.
Remembering how close she seen Lapis and Lilu, her worry slightly decreased, but not enough to dismiss this.
'How frightening..' she mumbled, she had noticed too many anomalies with Lapis over the past months, originally she planned to dismiss it.. but when the accident happened.. she felt a sense of dread that washed over her, and it reminded her of her huntress years.
Deciding to gamble, she chose to overwhelm the child with her aura, she wasn't sure what she was expecting to happen. Maybe the child would fallen and cried, erasing her paranoia..
Instead, Lapis endured her aura.. not only that..
''That.. Unnatural presence he let out..'' Jade mumbled under her breath..
Originally it wasn't there.. it only came forth when she decided to add slight amount of hostility in her intent, althought it was weak.. it scared her. Her, a former huntress.
Entering her room, she started going through her drawers before finding an old cracked tablet.
She depressingly looked upon this tablet as she was debating something in her mind.
''Should I.. tell him?''

Quietly standing in Lilus room, Lapis watched her as she was writing something while wearing a pair of old headphones, glancing over the room he noticed there were papers all over the floors.
Walking closer to one of them he noticed they were prototype drawings of a weapon.
Picking one of them he tried to figure out what she was going for, a spear was obvious from the shape, but there was too much.. other drawings that he did not get.
Feeling that he was intruding at a bad time, he wasn't sure what to do.
Glancing at the time, he desided to do something that will likely give Raye a heart attack in the morning.
Lapis quietly walked to the bed, dragged himself up and chose to sleep here tonight.
Watching Lilu work, Lapis couldn't help but to wonder what to do from now on, it was a high possibility that he just grew the ire of Jade, unsure of the future, he closed his eyes hoping for the best at this moment.
He wasn't sure when.. but he knew he had grown somewhat fond of these people.
''L-Lapis!?'' girlish voice woke him up as he was just about to fall asleep, opening his eyes, he watched Lilu who stood by her desk fidgeting.. but the emotion of self blame was evident as he saw her eyes.
Let out a quiet sigh that wouldn't be heard by Lilu, he sat himself up before stretching his arms out.
Lilu hesitated and didn't move from her spot.
Realising that this won't lead anywhere, Lapis moisted his throat, hoping that his body at this moment could stop messing with him, before letting out a quiet childish voice.
''Li..lu?'' hearing his own childish voice, he couldn't help but to blush in embarrasment.
Lucky Lilu herself was stunned, and as if it went automatic, went to him and picked him up in her arms.
Knowing to strike it while its hot, Lapis gentle hugged Lilu around her neck as he continued.
''Not.. y-your.. fault..'' echoed the quiet room, only after a few seconds Lilu started shaking before she fell on the bed with Lapis in her arms, a faint crying was heard in the room.
Lapis kept hugging her as she kept crying, smiling faintly as he tried his best to make sure she let all of it out.
Unbeknown to both of them, Jade was watching their interraction from a crack by the door.
Letting out a quiet sigh as she glanced back at the tablet she was holding, thoughts in turmoil.
