Chapter 1

The year 2069 The Philippines had become one of the most advanced countries in Asia alongside Japan and Korea.

And here I am playing on my Sunday weekend an old classic "Legend of Zelda:Breath of the wild" this game is my favourite game in the whole world I've played it over countless times already I can't get over the free exploration in the game.

"Crap! it's already this late I better sleep already or else mom is gonna kill me."

Morning comes up and its Monday today.I get ready for school.

"Jeremiah you've been playing video games very late weren't you?" Said my mom.

"W-What? No I wasn't hehehe."

"I'm gonna go now."

"Okay have a good day."

As I walk towards school I see my 2 best friends Sam and André. These two have been my friends ever since I started junior high us three are usually the rascals in our class but we're actually pretty smart.

"Yo Jeremiah." The two said.

"Yo."

"Playing that game again? I know it's good but aren't you getting tired of it after playing it multiple times besides that game is so old why bother." Said Sam.

"Oh shut up."

"Jeremiah playing while walking is dangerous you know." Said André.

I put down my game until we arrive at our school than we headed to our classroom where I resumed my gaming until it was time for morning announcements every student headed to the gym where morning announcements were held.

" Hey man, it's you're crush." Sam said to me.

"S-Shut up!" I said while blushing a bit.

"Hehe want me to talk to her for you?"

"Don't it's embarrassing."

"Ehehem, as you know our school is a famous school in our country so the government decided to give us 6 special devices when I call out your names please come forward. "Raymond Bautista, Angel Dizon, Erik Santiago, Sam Lloyd, Jeremiah Glee, and last of all André Karma ." You 6 will be chosen as the main participatory of the "Heroes of war project." Said the principal.

"Yooo!" Sam exclaimed.

"Heroes?" I said to myself.

"War?" Said the other students.

"Ehem. Students that were not called will be given these special smartphone devices you will be using these to cast spells, these spells are used to fight each other but fear not no one will be able to die, worst case scenario would be you feeling a bit of pain."

The gym is filled with students full of fear and doubt as a response to what their principal had told them of course who wouldnt be after all students fighting each other for war that has no meaning but for me I felt like I had changed I felt like I wanted this, I felt like I wanted it subconsciously. I had no reason to object against this.

"We're very sorry for this but this is what our president wanted besides no one will get hurt plus it would be your class against the other classes." Said the principal so the students would stop worrying.

"Screw the president!" Said one of the students.

"Yeah what if we have friends from other classes." Said the other student.

"Please don't worry you can form pacts with other classes."

"That's not enough!" Said the students.

"Everyone stop your whining!" Said the Student council president.

That alone made everyone quiet down the SCC are really something especially the president Angel Dizon She's a year older than me she's fierce, tough and scary.

"Please listen to what the principal has to say." She added.

"T-Thank you Angel now everyone we know this is terrible news as well but this is also for the sake of the country this program is for the students to become great soldiers that will fight for our country. Now please listen to what I have to say."

The SCC president gives everyone a scary look that makes everyone agree.

" YES PRINCIPAL!" Said all of the students.

" Well all of your advisers will be the leaders of you're class the heroes will choose a class that they will swear their loyalty to if both of your hero and teacher are to be defeated your class will be given a "Game Over" . Also as I mentioned before you can make pacts with other classes but your hero will have the final say in the decision whether he wants to have a pact or not. You may convince him but he will still have his final decision."

"But what happens to the winner?" One of the students asked.

"They will receive a multitude of prices not just wealth but education and they will have a very high chance to be a leader of the country or a martial of the country." The principal replied.

"Wow that's honestly amazing." Said the students.

"And I bet you're wondering how do we fight each other well the Government also gave us a device's that can turn this whole school into a massive country, in this country lies 6 kingdoms where your class will reside this will also allow you to use your spells and only there will you be able to use them.

*Wooow* said the students.

"And if you're wondering we've already gotten consent from your parents." The Principal added.

"Whatever I still don't like this." Said Sam to me and André.

"I agree even though the prize is good nothing happens to the loser it's all worthless in my opinion." Said André to Sam.

"Right. What do you think Jeremiah?"

"I think... Its amazing."

"What?!" André exclaimed.

"This is war we're talking about." Said Sam.

"Yeah but it's not real so I think it's fine."

"You're out of your mind man."

"Whatever."

Us 3 were called into a room after the morning announcements this room is where these devices that looks like a virtual reality helmet on a huge seat. The principal had us take a piece of paper from a raffle box inside those pieces of paper had classroom numbers.

"I got my crush's class! I'm so happy!"

My crush is the same grade as the SCC president but she's in a different section she's very beautiful especially her glasses and she's also very cute but most importantly she's a very nice person.

"I wonder what she'll think?"

"Lucky for you jeremiah good luck with your crush."

"What classes are you assigned to guys? I'm in class 11C. " André asked the both of us

"Oh, I'm in our class 11A and Jeremiah is on 12B." Said Sam to André.

"Ohoho Jeremiah." André said to me.

"Shut up!" I exclaimed to the both of them.

"Ehem, let me explain the strange devices that you see before you these are "Spirit Uploaders" they upload your conscience and turn them into ultra advanced holograms so basically you will be turned into what your conscience looks like and then you will fight each other and the normal students but no one actually dies please let us remind you aswell that killing will be very gory do you understand?"

"Wait isn't there another way?" asked Sam and André.

"Im sorry there isn't now please sit onto one of the Spirit uploaders

As I sit down on one of the spirit Uploaders I wear the helmet it's not very comfortable but its okay.

" The screen inside is saying loading I guess I'll have to wait a bit."

Soon after a bit I feel sleepy and get knocked out I guess that's because my conscience had been uploaded already.

"I feel very sle---." I said while falling asleep.

"Things are about to get interesting..." Said the principal.

I soon regain consciousness and after noticing it I was on a bed but where I was was very unfamiliar its like I'm in a castle room full of stone bricks and on the wall was a broadsword that looked very familiar and a shield right next to it and on the other side of the wall I see people waiting for me and one of them is my crush I stand up and grabbed my items and walked outside the door and...
