****************

When I came back from the flower garden, mom was in the kitchen making breakfast.

" Good morning momma".

I hugged her and kissed her cheeks and she returned it. "so you wake up, leave us sleeping and go to God knows where and only come back looking like you're from identifying your best friend's body in the mortuary" and then the woman smiles . . . I am so calling daddy on her "daddy . . . Mommy is making her own breakfast and says you gotta make one for yourself if you want some" and then he came running on his boxers with his gown unfastened. . .he looked like he was flying...we just burst out laughing

- you'll want to send me to my early grave? Forget it,I'm still too young to die- poor dad

We were in stitches by this time. My crazy family though. I guess I was the last one with a stupid grin on my face because everyone is looking at me like I'm crazy right now "what" I asked pushing mom out of my way to the fridge,I needed some fresh water before they interrogate me...i know these two

-And then?? What's with the megawatt smile so early??-

That was dad and like they had guessed I just took off to my room to get ready "gotta be on time for work". I knew that by the time I finish showering, mom would be done with breakfast. I took a quickie and grabbed my breakfast and kissed my parents goodbye. Luckily the bus was on time this morning or I would've freezed to death in my wavy summer dress with a leather coat and knee length sandals. Thirty minutes and I was at my desk. I found Derick already seated...no hunched over the computer. . .Uhm that's strange. I tiptoed to him and touched his shoulders. I found the horror of my life. His eyes were wide open, only that his sockets were empty. Both his eyes were gone and the blood was dripping on top of the keyboard "noooooo" and then I felt a hand on my shoulder,an old woman behind my seat was shaking me " its only a daylight nightmare" and then it dawned to me that I was still in the bus but near the library. . .What a horrible thing to see. Now I am scared to go to work but I can't shake the sense of urgency coursing in me now. I have to RUN to the library, something bad is about to befall Derick...
