Somewhere in a dark mountain
"She is getting closer with every passing second now" the shadowy figure mused alone in the darkened cave. He stood tall on the edge of a high cliff observing everything with his keen eyes. Being who he is allowed his the pleasure of watching everything happen in slow motion, to see the faces, know the truth in a person's soul and still pretend to have got none of it. A brooding expression on his face that highlighted the most prominent features of his face with his thick eyebrows that almost looked like an extension of his hair if you don't look close enough. Not that looking to his hollow eyes could be the most pleasant thing to do as they looked nothing short of staring into a black hole. His calloused hands rested lazily on his back, his whole body clad in fine leather armour. He looked like a knight in shining armour, only this one was no knight and his armour was all black. He found the whole thing to be quite fascinating, to say the least. They took her Princess from him only to have fate drive her right into his arms again. He could feel the howling of the wind, the thunder in the sky was also bearing witness to the homecoming. Out of all the things he could've predicted to lead to his favourable outcome, this was the one he hadn't foreseen. They tried to separate him from his family only to push all of them to his arms again. He suddenly has a wide grin on his face.
Things were turning out better than he had imagined. When he stretched his hand out to feel the lightning, it made contact only to crystalize the unfortunate strike that landed on his open palm. He will now assemble the most powerful beings under his roof and not even those old hags combined can stop what is coming to them. This thought alone was enough to give him a tingle at the back of his spine, while for an average human this would've meant a feeling of crippling fear, it stood for the exact opposite on his case. When he couldn't keep it in anymore, he opened his arms and crackled as loud as the thunder and it seemed to dance at the sound of his voice.

"Shriek! Have you no self-restraint at all in that hulk of a meat that you call a body?" Rhea asked, her face turning paler with every passing second."I don't want to lie Rhea, your adorable expressions might do another time but
at this rate you might as well just become a white shadow and let your body
into the transcendence" he retorted.
The Oracle was appalled by Shriek's lack of attachment of any human emotion
considering he might have just doomed all of humanity to death and
destruction. She was aware that the first Oracle has lived a very long life,
longer than hers . . . but she hadn't thought that he had lost all humanity inside
him. They may be druids but they are still human, somehow. If for no other
reason than the fact that their very existence was so they can put a veil on
things that may corrupt humanity. They are protectors of the human race! So
what was Shriek doing?
A lot of thoughts started running through her mind of what might have led to
this. Did Rudrik get to him?
Impossible. . .
His sleeping chambers are protected by white magic, beings than walk the dark
path cannot come within fifteen feet of them. They can only admire from afar.
With that possibility eliminated, she started racing her head and ended up
deciding she can always decide to look into it later but for now she needed to
try and contain the situation with her chosen predecessor. She took a long deep
breath and gave Shriek the 'this is not ever' eye before setting her sights on
Dana who had since been standing still, unblinking and letting the shock wash
over her body. She had been too naïve, really naïve. She had let herself believe
that she was chosen because she was special, hell she had even let herself
believe, even for a short period that she could be the most powerful druid after
the Oracle. That all those women were jealous of her.
She smiled bitterly.
"She is impure"
One of the older ladies had said that at the cave . . . or whatever they call that
thing. She didn't understand their hostility but now it started to make sense.
She wasn't sure if she could've knelt in front of someone like herself if she was
in the same shoes as those old women. They didn't want to accept any part of
the lord of vengeance not because they had anything against her, but because
it was against every fibre of their existence. He was their sworn enemy and she
is his blood. Not that she blamed them, she also hated this tiny huge detail thatnobody had bothered to clue her in on. She wasn't wrong before, in this world everybody was serving their own interest all while telling her how she couldn't do the same.
She was done with all of that.
Her eyes turned pearly white before her hands started with a faint white lightning that had streaks of blue. If Rhea could turn any more paler at his instant she could've.
She had been too angry with the first Oracle that she neglected the real issue at hand. Now she knew that Rudrik will be hunting for their heads with the girl by his side. She could feel his presence as if he were next to her. The girl has transitional magic!
Rhea stood with her lower jaw almost touching the floor. How could she have missed this! Now she was too late to try and explain anything. She stood watching while the girl opened a portal, she stepped through and she was gone.
