Mother to son

Cao Sanmei was just as she was in Liu Sumeng's memories. A storm, chaotic and without reason. She wore a wild and charming smile that reminded Sumeng of Emperor Taixu more than anything else.

"Wow there are so many people!"

At least this time she hadn't bothered to disguise her voice but was still wearing her preferred choice of male clothing and Chu Mirong hanging off her arm.

"Behave, sweetie," the tigress singsonged and she gripped tighter.

Cao Sanmei's smile was strained as she went across the room. "She-Wolf General! The fortress misses you. Seriously thought we might get attacked or something and just fall to waste without you around."

"Ah," Hui Siran nodded, "Still terrible at flattery as always, I see."

Cao Sanmei grinned as she settled down at the table and frowned a little when she realized that the drink offered wasn't alcohol. She turned her attention to Liu Sumeng.
