Chapter Seven - Fire Dragon
The next day.
Me and Lily wake Luna and Sapphire up.
(Luna) - "Is it time to get up already."
(Zero) - "Yes."
Lily and Sapphire get out of bed, everyone gets their stuff ready and we go out of the house, we walk away from all the houses and into the city.
I hear some explosive sounds like fire, we walk to where it is coming from and there is a female human using fire magic to fight a minotaur.
(Zero) - "Stay here."
They stay there and I run at the minotaur, I then use my claws and I slash the minotaurs head off, the minotaurs body falls to the ground, and the girl sees me.
The girl uses fire magic on me, but it doesn't hurt me, I restrain the girl with my hands.
(Zero) - "I am not your enemy, is that how you treat the person who saved you."
The girl sees the other humans and stops trying to get out of my hands, she looks up at me.
(Girl) - "Are you not my enemy."
(Sapphire) - "Don't worry he is not your enemy, he is a big softie."
Sapphire said that with a smile, and I let go of the girl.
(Zero) - "So what is your name."
(Girl) - "My name is Lucy."
(Zero) - "You are not strong enough to protect yourself, do you want to come with us."
(Lucy) - "Sure."
Lucy said that with a smile and we walk around, I walk close to Lucy.
(Zero) - "Lucy you ate an orb from a monster didn't you."
(Lucy) - "Yes."
(Zero) - "Well that fire magic is destructive, make sure you have full control over it."
Lucy nods with a yes, after a while of walking around a dragon flys to the ground in front of us, the dragon is red with scales.
What kind of dragon is that thing?
[A Fire Dragon]
(Zero) - "Run!"
We start running, but the fire dragon blocks the way we are running.
(Zero) - "The dragon is too fast."
I run at the fire dragon, and I jump at the neck and bite it, the dragon roars and I bite deeper into the fire dragons neck.
The fire dragon swings its neck around and I went flying to a wall, I cough up blood and it doesn't stop, I keep coughing up blood until beast mode activates.
My eyes turn red and I feel stronger, I lose control of my body and I run at the fire dragon and I'm faster than the fire dragon, right now because I'm in beast mode.
I jump on the fire dragons back and I go to the head of the dragon, I then slash the fire dragons head over and over again and I reach for the dragons brain and I destroy it.

Beast mode deactivates and I feel a lot of pain, I walk over to the others.
(Lucy) - "Your amazing."
(Zero) - "Well I now need to get the orb from the fire dragon."
(Luna) - "What are you talking about."
(Zero) - "Orbs are inside monsters they give you skills when you eat them."
Luna stops asking questions after that, I walk over to the dragon.
1 hour later...
I finally find the orb, and I eat it.

I look at my stats.

I guess beast mode leveled up?
I use 4 attribute points on INT, 4 on STR, and 2 on DEX.
(Sapphire) - "So orbs give us skills."
(Zero) - "Yes, when you eat them they some times give you skills and some times not."
(Luna) - "I want skills."
(Zero) - "Ok Luna, we will get you some skills, but not today."
Luna is like a child?
(Zero) - "Well let's get back to the house."
We walk back to the house, and I make a fire and cook some meat and eggs, that is the only things we have that can be cooked right now.
We then start eating.
(Zero) - "Hey Luna, you are not mad at me for not being able to save your mother and father right."
Luna faces her head to the ground.
(Luna) - "To be honest, I forgot about that."
Luna starts crying, I wipe Lunas tears off her face.
(Zero) - "I am sorry that I couldn't save them."
(Luna) - "There was nothing you could do."
We talk for a while then the others go to sleep and I watch out for monsters.
