First Customer

"Carl Lune is opening up a new project!"

"Hey Carl, aren't you tired of ruining your Master's reputation? Now you want to ruin our stomachs?"

"This will be a colossal failure."

"His ego has gone through the roof. Does he think he will get customers? He even dares to have an exclusive one ticket a day scheme!"

To these criticisms, Carl completely ignored them. He was a person who replied through his cooking. His skill was not ordinary when it came to this field. He also smartly chose to ignore the controversy altogether.

His master too heard about this and shook his head. Not only did this apprentice of his make an exclusive restaurant, he even set such absurd rules.

Many chefs on social media openly asked him what his apprentice was doing which left him speechless as well. Eventually, he made a statement.

"He is no longer my apprentice. I have disowned him for his malpractice."

If people were expecting Carl to wash dirty linen in public, they were destined to be disappointed. He read the message and simply sighed. Instead he put up the automated lottery post for the next day.

People who were waiting to watch Carl fail were also slightly disappointed as at least a thousand individuals signed up for the lottery. No matter how tarnished the reputation, gourmet hunters are eventually curious about food even if it is potentially bad. Many people pounced on the chance to grab headlines with the first review.

An hour later, the lottery closed and the winner was decided. It turned out to be an unknown person named Alex Mohall.

"Let's wait and see how this person finds the food."

Alex Mohall was actually not a nobody. He was a passionate gourmet, but he was also a rising star at Central Warriors Academy. He was not someone famous in the culinary world, but he had his own fandom at among young warriors.

He was surprised that he won, and also slightly excited. To be the first person to try out an exclusive restaurant in the galaxy gave him a kind of excitement that only true gourmets could fathom, even if it was the disgraced Carl Lune who was the cook.

Alex was also trying to woo a girl from his combat team, who wasn't an ordinary person either. She was one of the brightest geniuses humanity had ever seen among warriors. She was heralded as potential S class warrior, a super weapon of the humans. Her name was Nina Turner.

Alex quickly connected to his team. "Guys, I got a registration to an exclusive restaurant and can bring all you guys along. Let's go!"

"Really? Alex, based on your past suggestions, may be we might find something interesting to eat again?"

"Alex you really are adept at finding this unique places to eat. Let's go, relax ourselves. The last mission was really too demanding."

Alex received encouraging responses from everyone except Nina, which left him feeling disappointed.

"Well, I don't mind an evening of unwinding." Nina's emotionless voice eventually was heard by the team members, who sighed in relief.

"Where are we headed to?" One of the members asked.

Alex looked at the details. "Its a village planet called Noah. The conditions of the restaurant are also very bizarre." He explained as he showed the conditions Carl had put forth.

"Lune? From the Lune family?" Nina asked like a true battle maniac.

"I have heard that this person is estranged from the Lune family because he had no warrior talent and became a chef, which they consider shameful." Alex explained. He was a gourmet, he knew some of the gossips about famous chefs.

"Alright, let's take our battleship to Noah." The pilot said as the ship jumped through hyperspace.

At the same time, Carl was practicing Clean Body Sutra without fail. He could feel that his body was getting stronger as the energy permeated his skin. His complexion was getting rosier and he could lift heavier things more easily.

"I haven't checked today's lottery." Carl thought before activating it.

[Activating Lottery... You obtain Fertilizer.]

Carl did not know whether he should laugh or cry. He simply took the fertilizer and put it into the storage room. He had an abundance of this special fertilizer these days.

He took a look at his garden, taking out a few produce for preparing the special dinner for tonight. He had coordinated with the person called Alex Mohall, who requested the meal to be dinner.

As he was making the preparations, he saw the arrival of a battleship from the sky, landing in a designated pad in Carl's land, somewhat away from the house.

The team of six, led by Alex and Nina stepped out of the battle ship and looked around. As far as the eye could see, they were surrounded by a lush forest with the exception of a grassy patch at the center of the forest, where a large wooden mansion was located. The entire forest was chirping with the sounds of crickets.

"This place is intune with nature." Nina suddenly commented.

"It is a little too isolated and the Mansion almost looks like a ghost house."

"I hope the food is good." Alex sighed as he secretly glanced at Nina.

The six walked towards the house and found several gardens lined up in front. As they walked past the gardens, they could smell the fresh atmosphere as a cool breeze past by them. Alex walked up to the door and rang the door bell.

Carl arrived in a minute and opened the door. "Welcome to my humble abode. You are my first customers, I hope you have a good time." He said with a smile as he led them to the dining area.

The six observed that the interior was very different from the exterior. It felt organic, yet very modern and clean. As they entered the dining area, they found a large table with three seats on each side. They took their seats, with Alex vying for a seat beside Nina.
