By the time the sunset over the horizon, both Astrid and Ace were tired. Enlil was tougher in practise and Astrid managed to sustain injuries at her leg and arms. Ace who saw his beloved with bruises and tiny cuts was livid with anger.

`What the heck did you do to her?', Ace spoke with a clenched jaw. His eyes were cold with anger brewing in them.

`I managed to teach her something new. But she needs time to create it again. That thing did it to her. Not me.', Enlil merely raised an eyebrow and turned to walk with Girra.

`What thing, love?', Ace inspected Astrid and after making sure she was not heavily injured, he hugged her and kissed her temples.

`It's a surprise. You will learn it too', Astrid winked at him.

`Better be something good', Ace mumbled, and both rode the bike in relative silence. It suited them and frankly they were too tired to speak. They rode in comfortable silence.
