Astrid drank the warm lemon honey water and stared at his chest again. She could not help herself but ask, `The words on your chest. What does it mean?’

`Show me?’ Ace smirked.

Astrid knew what he was doing, and she played along. Her fingers trailed to the Japanese words and stopped there.

`Zephyr belongs to me.’ He muttered.

`And this?’, Astrid spoke softly, her fingers moving to the opposite direction. 

`Divine, precious lady. Time for action now’. He grabbed her fingers and started kissing each, starting from the base to their tips, maintaining his eye contact with her. It was so sensual and stimulating, his soft lips kissing as if her fingers were her lips. Astrid felt butterflies fluttering in her stomach. Her left hand unconsciously, touch his face and he leaned on her hands, she mustered enough courage to prevent her mind from going into an overdrive of sentiments, and uttered `I need to pee’.

Ace chuckled and smooched her cheek.

Jungle Lady and the City Dude

Somehow, they must have listened to Astrid scream moments before she slumped unconsciousness. Enlil opened a portal and walked to their home in the forest, while Girra carpooled with all of them into Hadwin's car and drove straight to the jungle.

Derek managed to call Ace as soon as Astrid passed out and told him to meet them in the forest. Ace Wagner was livid with anger when Derek did not explain what happened to Astrid.

`Will you tell us if she will be okay?', Abigail sniffled softly.

`Who are you? Are you related to Astrid?', Hadwin asked. He was driving as fast as he can towards Route 3, the outskirts of Anubia city.

`I know you have a lot to ask. I am Girra, her aunt. Her mom was my sister. And she is much stronger than you think she is. So, don't worry' Girra motioned them to go off-road and Hadwin expertly swerved into the forest.
