When the stranger grabbed her shoulder she screamed "Please don't hurt me! I have nothing," in a frightened tone as she squats down, covering her head. That caught people's attention, they begin to come towards them. Some people started to say "Hey, what are you doing to her," in an upset tone.
A person took Chin while two people grabbed the person that is in all black until security came. They took the person to the police station after an hour Jinyu came to come to pick Chin up. An old woman asked "Little girl, do you know this person?"
Chin nodded and said "This is my brother, I'll be leaving now. Thank you for staying with me," in a grateful tone as she stood next to her brother. The old lady smiled and left.
"Do you know where Lai is? I haven't seen him in an hour or two," she asked.
Jinyu laughed and said "He's in the car, he told us to get food and gave me a list," in a lighthearted tone as he showed the list.
Chin made a confused expression, then she asked "Why is he in the car? Why doesn't he come to do it himself or come with us," in a confused tone.
Jinyu laughed and said "Because he ended up at the police station because you screamed when he tried to catch up with you," in an amazed tone as he looked at her blank expression.
"You're telling me that, that was him," she saw him nodding. "I'm going to kill him when we get home," mumbling in a very mad tone, then she continues saying "ok, let's get the things on the list or he might die in the car," in a calm but also rush tone.
They went to the car when they finally got done buying food, Lai got out to help then put the bags of food in his car. While Lai was driving he said "Chin, I'm sorry for what I did," in a regretful tone. She didn't answer him, she just looked out the window. "Come on, don't sulk. I'm sorry plus I went to the police station isn't that fair enough," in a sincere tone, then Chin started to laugh.
When she got herself together she said "I was mad but I feel better after hearing that you had to go to the police station," in a lighthearted tone, then she starts to giggle. "How did it go at the police station," she asked in between each giggle.
"Oh shut up. It was not fun. They asked me a bunch of questions and other things." he replied in a serious tone.
"Ok ok. Hurry home, I can't wait to try my new clothes," in an excited tone as she smiled in excitement. By the time they got back to the apartment, it was already 8 pm. When they entered the apartment they saw Xaing and Zhe sit on the couch dead asleep. They quietly shut the door but then Xaing and Zhe woke up, as they begin to stretch they saw all three of them standing at the door like statues. Zhe asked "What took you guys so long to come home," in a tired tone, then he yawned while stretched.
Lai said "It's a long story. Let me make dinner first then I'll explain why we came this late," as he set the grocery bags on the kitchen counter, then took the bags to his room as Chin took her bags to her room.
They all were laughing, except Lai, after he explains why they were home late, Lai said "Stop it's not funny," in a mad as he pouts.
Zhe said "Ok ok it's not funny, I'm sorry," as he continues to laugh.
Once Xaing got himself together he said "I'm sorry but that just too funny to not laugh," as he wipes his tears from laughing.
Jinyu said "But seriously, Lai what happened at the police station before I came to get you," in a curious tone, then he ate his food as Chin agreed with him.
Lai went into serious mode and said "Well they asked me a lot of questions, then they told me to take off my hat and mask so I did. When they realize who I was, they still asked me more questions, after you came they let me off with a warning."
They all said "Oh," in a casual tone.
Lai said "Ok enough talking, let's eat or the food will get cold," as they begin to eats. After they ate Chin helps Lai wash the dishes while others were on their phone sitting on the couch, when Chin and Lai were done washing the dishes they went to sit on the cube chairs. Zhe asked "So what did you guys buy? Did I get anything," in a curious tone as his eyes were still glued to his phone.
Chin said "No, my sweet brother only bought things for me," in a dispassionate tone as she put her phone down.
Lai added "Yeah, why would I buy you more things when you already have so many things," in a harsh tone, then he put his phone down as he looked at Zhe. Lai could see Zhe pout but then Xiang said "Ok, let's see your new clothes," in a lighthearted tone as he smiled, putting his phone down. Chin excitedly got up and went to her room, after a few minutes she came out in an off-shoulder fluted sleeve top with an overalls denim dress.
Lai said "Wow, you look so beautiful," in a lighthearted tone as he made an amazing expression with a big smile appeared on his face.
Jinyu said "Yeah, you so cute," in an amazed tone as he quietly clapped his hands.
Zhe and Xaing said "Chin, you look good," in a joyful tone.
Chin added "I already own this top the overalls denim dress is new. I'm going to change into another outfit," in a happy tone, then she walks backs to her room. When she came back out she asked "How do I look," in a curious tone as she does a spin. She was wearing a black t-shirt with ripped light blue jeans shorts, they all gave her compliments. After a few more outfits, Chin came out with a pink dress with lace strawberry on top, she said "This is the last one," as she spins around. They said that she looked beautiful and she went to change.
"Dang, Chin has so many cute outfits but yet she's always wearing sweats," Jinyu said in a confused tone as he laid back while making a confused expression.
Lai said "I know. Don't you think it's weird how she has so many cute outfits but she seems like she never wore them outside?" While Jinyu and Lai were in their thought, Zhe and Xaing were confused they looked at each other than at Lai and Jinyu. Xaing and Zhe just watching TV while they both were still in their thoughts. Chin came back and sat in sweats while eating chips. She asked "What y'all doing," then she went back to snacking.
Xaing said "Zhe and I are watching TV while Lai and Jinyu are just thinking of something for the past 5 minutes," in a friendly tone as his eyes were still on the TV.
Chin asked "Do you guys know what they're thinking about? Why do they look so concerned," in a curious tone. Xaing and Zhe shrugged so she asked "Jinyu, what are you guys thinking," in a calm tone but he didn't answer so she yelled his name. They both got startled and said "What!"
She said "I asked what are you guys thinking about? I want to know the tea," in a curious tone.
Lai said "Oh we're just thinking about stuff that you probably shouldn't know," in a calm tone. He continues by saying "Chin, we just ate and you're already snacking," in a little upset tone as he frowns.
Chin said "First of all, I don't care and don't worry I won't eat too much," in an irreverent tone. She added "Second of all, I want to know what you guys are thinking, I don't if I shouldn't know about it but I'll find out sooner or later so just tell me," in a resentful tone as she frowns.
"Promise you won't be too offended or mad," Lai said in a low tone, and Chin agreed.
Jinyu said "Ok, we were thinking why do you wear most sweats when you have cute outfits to wear but you don't wear them often," in a curious tone as he made a confused expression while the rest of them turn to look at Chin.
She laughed and said "Why would I get mad or offended by that, it's because I like it and it's more comfortable and yes even in the summer since I rarely go anywhere so why would I dress up," unconcerned tone.
They all looked at each other with concerned looks, then Xaing said "But you look so happy when you were showing us your new clothes plus you look much better in those outfits than sweats," in a friendly tone. He smirked and added "or do you not have enough confidence to wear them," in a sarcastic tone as he gave her a curious look.
Lai gasp and whispered "Xaing, why would you say that to her? She can wear whatever-" he didn't get to finish what he was saying.
Chin interrupted "You're right! I don't have the confidence to wear them, that's why I always wear sweats. There, I gave the answer you guys wanted, are you guys happy now," in a distressed tone as tears filled her eyes, then she ran to her room.
Xaing shouted "Chin, I'm sorry! I didn't think you would take it personally, I didn't mean it," in a regretful tone as he looked at her when she went to her room. They all were so shocked at what just happened while Xaing said "Jinyu and Lai, I'm sorry for what I just said to our sister," in a quiet tone as he puts his head in his hands.
Jinyu shouted "You think saying sorry will fix everything, you hurt her feelings, you'll need to find a way to apologize to her. I'm leaving," in a dispassionate tone as got up to leave. Lai said "Wait I want to give something," as went to his shared room.
He came back with a bag and said "Here, I bought this for you," in a soft tone as he handed him the bag.
He softens up and said "Thanks, bye," in a tired tone as he gave Lai a weak smile, hugged and Jinyu left. Lai went to sit in between Xaing and Zhe and said "See I told you that wasn't nice to say. Why didn't you think before you spoke," in a little upset tone as he kinda glared at him.
Xaing said "Look, I'm sorry. I didn't think it through and I didn't think she would take it personally," in a guilty tone, then he sighed.
"But still you should know that she still going through puberty and she's sensitive about her body and other things," Lai said in a direct tone then sighed.
"I know, I have a sister too. It's just that I didn't think before I said those stupid, hurtful words but it's too late, I can't take my words back. What should I do to make it up to her," in a sad tone as he leaned back and closed his eyes?
Lai said "I don't know. What do you think, Zhe?"
Zhe sighed and said "I don't know what he should do so that Chin will forgive him," in a confused tone.
"I know a way I'll forgive you," they heard from behind in a cheeky tone. They all looked behind and saw Chin with a calm face but Lai could tell she is thinking of something bad. Lai said "Chin I know what you're thinking, it better not be too much," in an anxious tone as he makes a worried face.
She said "Don't worry, I don't think it's too much," in a reassuring tone.
Lai breathed in relief and said "Ok, spill the beans then," in a relieved tone.
She continues saying "I want to be one of your back-up dancers for your concert that is in a week," in a bold way as a grin appeared on her face.
Lai said "Chin that's too much, choose something else," in a slightly angry tone as he frowned at her.
Zhe added, "Plus Chin I'm sure you have to audition to be a back-up dancer."
Chin sighed and said "Fine if that can't happen then I want VIP tickets for your concert at least," in a bold tone.
Xaing said "So you're telling me if you can become one of my back-ups dancers or at least get you VIP tickets you're willing to forgive me," in a curious and excited tone.
Chin said "Correct," in a proud tone with a small smile.
"If that's the case then I'll speak with my manager and see what I can do," Xaing said in a joyful tone as he gave her a warm smile.
Lai said "Okay, let's go to sleep. We have things to do tomorrow, come on," in a tired tone as he got up and they begin to walk to their rooms. They all did their night routine, everyone went to sleep except Lai, who was busy planning for his mother's funeral.
Lai stayed up all planning for her funeral, there were two other plans in case something doesn't go as plan, he was so tired but it was already 6 am. He went to get ready for the day, while he was making breakfast he was also drinking a healthy energy drink. When he saw the rest were beginning to wake up he chugged the drink and start putting the food on the table as they all soon sat down at the dining table, they ate in silence.
Zhe asked "Lai did you not sleep well? You look so tired," in a worried tone while looking at his face.
Lai lied and said "Yeah, I had a little trouble but I slept pretty fine," in a direct tone, then he took a bite of his food. After they ate, Xaing and Zhe left for, Lai sent Chin to school, then he went to work. When he got to work he started working, he would only take breaks to make calls for his mom's funeral while taking short walks to get coffee.
"Hong, how is your period? Do you want to go get something to drink," Xiu Ying asked next to her while they were on break for 10 minutes.
Hong said "I'm fine, I don't want to drink anything," in a calm tone as she was recording notes from the scene they just filmed. She went to check on the makeup and hair artists and the wardrobe. Xiu Ying was about to follow her but then he got called to help change the settings to the next scene so he went to help.
After they change the setting, the director said "Ok, let's start filming." The actors that are in the scene got on the set, the actors got into place then a voice said "Scene 38 take 1, action" and then the director started filming as the actors went into their characters.
At 8 pm, the director called it a day so the whole crew begins to pack up, when Xiu Ying was done helping with the packing he went on the bus to see if Hong was on the bus yet. He saw Hong looking out of the window, he went to sit next to her, and Yu and Xia said "Look at the lovebirds," teasing them with an excited smile.
Xiu Ying smile and said "Be quiet, you're going to expose us," in an offended tone with a grin on his face as he put his arm around Hong.
Hong pushed him off of her, she defended herself by saying "Xiu Ying stop playing around. Nothing is going between us," in a bold tone with a grumpy expression. Xia and Yu giggled, Hong just plugged her earbuds into her phone to listen to music as she laid back and closed her eyes. She was so relaxed until she felt someone grab one of her earbuds, she looks at Xiu Ying as he put it into one of his ears. She asked "What are you doing!? Give it back," in a pester tone.
As he laid back and close his eyes, he said "Sshhh, just listen to the music. Your music taste isn't that bad, I like it," in a calm tone as he across his arms. Hong just sighed, laid back, and close her eyes. After few minutes Xiu Ying felt a weight on his shoulder, he saw that Hong fell asleep, he just smiled and closed his eyes again but soon he fell asleep too.
